Page 76 of Knot My Band: Part Two
Aiden looks sad when he adds, “Her heat is going to end soon. Then we can recover.”
“That makes me sad, too, but we are bonded. We will have this for the rest of our lives,” Chase says with a wink.
I nod, feeling the truth of it deep inside me.
As the conversation drifts into a comfortable silence, I lean back against the blankets, Oli’s soft breathing a steady rhythm against my skin. I close my eyes, letting the afterglow wash over me.
I never realized how many issues we had as a pack until Oli came in and united us all. The closeness we share now means everything to me and my alpha.
I open my eyes, watching the slow rise and fall of Oli’s chest, the gentle curve of her body against mine.
And it’s all thanks to her.

ONCE AGAIN, HEAT RUMORS CIRCULATE AFTER THE DISAPPEARANCE OF OLI HART AND HER NEW ALPHAS
June 27th
My body aches deliciously as I slowly come to, enveloped by a sea of muscled forms that breathe in unison with me. Chase, Aiden, Jack, and Dax—my beautiful, perfect mates—surround me, their combined heat more comforting than any blanket.
But still, I have plenty of those in the nest.
“Morning, little rose,” Chase murmurs, his voice husky with sleep. His sandy hair tickles my cheek as he presses a lazy kiss to my forehead. The sensation electrifies me, but more sex is definitely off the table.
We had more than enough for however long my heat lasted.
I stretch languidly, feeling the pull of sore muscles. Aiden’s soft and caring brown eyes meet mine. He brushes a stray lock of my rose-gold hair behind my ear, a silent promise of tenderness from a man who speaks volumes with just a look.
“Is our Oli back?” Jack teases, his blue eyes sparkling with mischief. He nuzzles against my neck, leaving a trail of goosebumps in his wake. His playful bite sends a shiver through me.
“Yes,” I retort, grinning despite the fatigue that pulls at my bones. The love I feel for these men is a melody that never grows old, a song I want to play on repeat.
Dax grunts something that sounds like “morning” and tightens his hold around my waist. His eyes soften as they land on me. He plants a possessive kiss atop my head, a silent testament to the strength and protection he offers without fail.
“Breakfast?” I suggest, wiggling in their embrace, the thought of food kick starting my senses.
“Anything for you,” Jack says, eager to fulfill my every desire.
“Let’s get this day started,” Chase chimes in, his green eyes matching mine, a mirror of the vitality and mischief within us both.
“Slow and steady,” Aiden cautions with a smile. His gentle demeanor is a grounding force in the whirlwind of our pack’s dynamics.
“I need time to cook,” Dax declares.
“Then I’ll set up a bath for Oli,” Jack decides.
They’re bossy, but I love it. I feel loved and cared for.
We untangle from each other, reluctant to part even for a moment.
“Sounds divine,” I reply, my muscles aching at the promise of warmth and relaxation.
Chase grins, already bounding ahead of us to the bathroom. “I got these new bath bombs! The ones with the glitter and the essential oils. Just for Oli!”
“Good, nothing but the best for our girl,” Aiden says softly, taking my hand and reassuringly squeezing it. His calm aura wraps around me like a blanket, always soothing.
