T ristan and I had our first disagreement at work, and I was surprised by how different it was to have a disagreement with him versus other men in my past. He didn’t yell at me.
He didn’t belittle me. He listened for clarity, not just to respond or defend his stance.
By the time we settled the disagreement, we’d come up with a compromise that we both were satisfied with.
The healthy communication turned me on so much I locked the door, then dropped down to my knees to give him sloppy head.
The deeper I took him, the more saliva slipped down the corners of my mouth.
He seemed to love that nasty shit because he started moaning so loud I was sure someone would hear him.
When he was ready to cum, he gripped my jaw and fucked my mouth until his seeds shot down my throat.
I yelped and giggled when he picked me up and sat me on the edge of his desk.
It was the first time he’d entered me raw, and the feeling of our connection with no condom made us both moan from his entrance. My chin trembled and I released a sizzling breath as he stroked me. I knew I’d be cumming quick as hell.
Tristan bit my shoulder, and the sensation was so euphoric I couldn’t even prepare for my climax. His hand quickly covered my mouth as I moaned loudly.
“Ooh, you like that shit huh, sweetheart?”
“Mhm,” I agreed with a muffled voice behind his hand.
My head flung back and legs shook as my walls pulsed against him.
When he dropped his hand from my mouth, he lifted me from the desk and bounced me on top of his dick.
“Do it again,” I begged, and he bit me again, unlocking a kink I didn’t know I had. The third time he bit me, I squirted.
“Fuck!” he growled through gritted teeth, pulling out of me quickly as he came.
Tristan put me back on the desk while I rubbed his nut out. The shaky, low moans that poured from him were like the sweetest symphony. His forehead rested against mine as he slid back inside of me.
“You almost got pregnant, honey. You ready to be a mother?”
My laughter turned into a moan when he spread my legs and fucked me harder. He covered my lips and kissed me, and I knew in that moment we were too damn loud to have quickies at work.
After Work
“Oh, that won’t be necessary. Mr. Pierce has already taken care of your bill for the evening, and my tip. You ladies feel free to hang around as long as you’d like, and let me know if you need anything.”
Our waitress for the evening set the receipt down on the table, and sure enough, it had already been paid for by Tristan.
When he asked me where Emilia and I were going to have dinner tonight, I wasn’t expecting him to call the restaurant and pay for our food over the phone.
And he’d left the waitress a hundred dollar tip, which reminded me of what Mama said about a generous man.
I couldn’t help but swoon as I pulled out my phone to text him my gratitude.
When I put it back in my purse and looked up, Emilia was looking at me with a goofy grin.
“What?” I asked with a chuckle.
“Y’all are so cute! I’m glad you’re giving him a chance, Taj. Seriously.”
“I didn’t really have a choice. That man has been wearing me down like Steve Urkel since the gala.”
We shared a laugh before I took a sip of my wine.
“How does it feel? Like . . . can you tell it’s different? That he’s different?”
“Oh, for sure. It definitely feels different. Calmer. Safer. More intentional. Sexier. And even with us having a lot of sex, I know that’s not all he wants from me.
More than anything, I’m different. I’m moving slower and more careful.
I’m not just taking his words at face value but actually waiting for his actions to align.
For the first time, I’m putting my wants and needs first and I’m not settling for what a man offers if it’s not exactly what I want.
I think the biggest difference is my mentality.
“Like . . . I used to see forever with every man I was with and compromise my boundaries or settle for less just to avoid the relationship ending. I was far too forgiving because I didn’t want to be single again.
Now, I’m just enjoying what we have one day at a time.
If he cheats or leaves, I’ll be okay with that.
I’m not anxious over the future or sad because of the past. I’m literally mindful of every moment we share. ”
“You don’t know how happy that makes me, sis. For real. I knew there was something special between the two of you when I watched you interact at the gala. I can’t wait to see how far this goes.”
My phone vibrated in my pocket, alerting me of Tristan’s response.
Pierce: You’re welcome sweetheart. Let me know when y’all get home safely. The guys and I are headed to the airport now. I miss you already.
Me: Miss you too. Can’t wait for you to get back so we can go on our date.
Pierce: I think I planned the perfect first date. I wanted it to be perfect because as far as I’m concerned, I’ll be the last man you have a first date with.
“What did he say that has you cheesing like that?” Emilia asked, drawing my attention to how deep I was in my conversation with Tristan and the smile I was wearing because of it.
“That he wants our first date to be perfect because it will be the last first date I have. He swears we’re going to get married.”
She cooed before leaning across the table and squeezing my hand. “I know it’s early, but I believe that! And I know you’re going slow and maybe not allowing yourself to get your hopes up, but I’m asking now that you make my maid of honor dress burgundy or pink. You know those are my colors.”
I laughed at her silly ass until my phone vibrated again. The call coming through sent me into high alert.
“One sec, E.” I stood as I accepted the call. “Hey, is everything okay?”
“Hey, honey. Yeah. I just remembered I didn’t ask you to be my date for Kaos and Serenity’s wedding.”
“Oh. Yeah, I’d love to. Just send me the details of what I need to wear and all that.”
“Cool.” There was shuffling on the other line, and I heard him say, “Told you she was gonna say yes. I don’t know why you doubted me.”
“Aight. I guess I’ma release my crush on her now,” it sounded like Zander said.
“Yeah, you better. I’on really wanna have to crush your throat if you keep trying to smooth talk my wife or your eyes if you keep looking at her for too long. She’s off the fucking market, nigga. Move on.”
As they all laughed at what he said, there was more shuffling, then his voice came through clearer instead of the muffled version.
I guess he’d tried to cover the phone while talking to his friend.
All I could do was fight my laugh. He reminded me too much of my brother at times, and a part of me believed that was also why I felt so comfortable with him.
For once, I was with a man who had the good parts of a man in my life, not the bad parts of my father.
“Yeah, uh, the colors?” Tristan said, as if he was trying to remember what we were talking about.
“Yes, angel. The colors. And if they have any specific wardrobe requirements.”
He sighed. “I’ll just give Serenity your number so y’all can talk about it if that’s okay. The last time I confused the colors for the flowers she yelled at Kaos and me, and seeing as Serenity never yells at anyone, I’m not trying to experience that again.”
Now that made me laugh heartily as I made my way outside. I hadn’t known Serenity long, but she seemed super sweet and cool. I couldn’t imagine her yelling at someone, so the wedding must have been stressing her out.
“That’s fine, baby.”
“Oh, we’re going to Lake Como, so I’ll make your travel accommodations.
You’ll be staying with me. I’ll send you something via Apple Pay so you can get a dress and anything else you’d like to bring for the trip.
We’ll be leaving the day after Valentine’s Day, which gives me time to spoil you before we have to focus on them, and we will be there for a week. ”
“I love the sound of that, and I can’t wait to go to Lake Como. It looks so beautiful and it’s on my travel list.”
“Perfect. If you have anything you want to see or do while we’re there, let me know so I can make arrangements. Otherwise, I’ll plan some stuff and make sure you have a good time.”
“I will, angel. Thank you for asking me to be your date.”
“Of course. There’s no one else I’d rather be with. I’m going to let you go though. We’re here.”
“Okay. I know you’re going to look so sexy in your tux. Let me know when y’all land, and send me pictures!”
“I got you, sweetheart. Please be safe.”
“Yes, sir.”
He chuckled before ending the call. I felt like I was floating back toward the table.
This man was so sweet on me, to the point where it made me feel comfortable liking him.
The better he treated me, the harder it was for me to go slow, but I was determined to take my time regardless of how much Tristan made it clear he was mine and only mine.
