It was almost time for winter break. Ever since the game me and Paige spent almost everyday together. She stayed over a lot, we drove to class, practice and even to just get coffee together. We were basically attached at the hip and I couldn't be happier.

I was going with Rose to her parents for the break tomorrow and Paige was going back to Minnesota with Azzi. All of us were sitting in Azzi and Paige's living room having a twilight marathon.

"No Edward is the only correct choice." I gaped at Azzi after she said she would've picked Jacob. Horrendous opinion.

"But Jacobs abs" She moaned out and Paige just laughed at her, keeping her hand around my shoulder.

"But Edward's face and personality and how protective he is and his ABS!" I fought back, continuing to defend Edward with my life.

"I'm team Rosalie because she's the best character." Rose said and me and Azzi both turned around and stared at her confused.

"She's the third best Cullen sibling at most." I said and her jaw dropped. "You only like her cuz your names sound similar." I accused her and she just gasped, putting her hand over her heart.

"You can go with them to Minnesota." She joked, rolling her eyes.

"I wish, she's stuck going with you." Paige said, joining the conversation.

"You know I'd much rather go with you P, I'm just stuck with Rose cuz her siblings are cute." I joked winking at Rose who just gave me a death glare.

"Just show up in Minnesota, both of you." Paige said seriously now and I just looked at her baffled.

"I mean we totally could if you want Jules." Rose replied, her face was bright, excited to go to Minnesota now.

"Yeah obviously I want to." I screamed and Paige and Azzi got excited.

We continued watching Twilight, me and Paige on the couch wrapped up in all the blankets I brought and Rose and Azzi sitting on the floor in front of the TV.

"You excited to meet my fam?" Paige whispered to me.

"Yeah, mostly your little brother." I replied. Paige talked very highly about her family. How her parents split up and her dad raised her while her mom moved to Montana. Her mom had 2 kids, Lauren and Ryan with her stepdad Brian and her dad had Drew with her stepmom Moe.

"Drew's gonna love you, you might have to come every Christmas." She laughed, thinking about the interaction to happen.

"Then I'll come for him every year." I said, trying to joke but being dead serious.

The movies ended and me and Rose had to leave to finish packing before our flight at 6 am tomorrow morning. I dreaded morning flights but it was the only one we could find back to Wisconsin this soon to Christmas.

I fell asleep early, slightly cold and uncomfortable without Paige for the first time in weeks but she had a flight at 5 to catch and needed her rest as much as I did.

"Jules, get the hell up." Rose said, shaking me awake and I jolted up. Her anxiety about being late started to rub off on me.

We had everything packed and ready to go so we went up to Paige and Azzi's room since we decided to go together, and would be flying back together now.

An exhausted and half asleep Paige opened the door as Azzi rushed around inside. Paige had no concerns and just took a seat on the couch, holding a pillow close to her chest as she dozed off again. To be fair it was 3:30 in the morning.

"Oh my god don't tell me she fell asleep again." Azzi sighed, looking over at a snoring Paige. "Jules, can you please deal with her?" She asked and I nodded, taking a seat next to her and lightly brushing the hair away from her face and rubbing her arm to lightly wake her up. Her eyes fluttered open and she yawned, sitting up fully and grabbing her suitcase cuz we were all ready to go.

The drive was completely silent, all of us being too tired to start any conversations and Azzi driving since Paige was falling asleep again.

We got to the airport and I helped Paige with her stuff and we walked inside. The airport was pretty empty so we checked in and got through security in no time. Now we just had to wait on those uncomfortable chairs until our flight boarded.

Paige sat next to me, resting her head on my shoulder and starting to fall asleep again. I just let her, assuming she really needed the rest. I just scrolled through my phone, posting some pictures I took from practices to the UCONN's women's basketball team instagram that I was now added to.

Paige woke up about an hour later, still looking exhausted but at least she could keep her eyes open now.

Of course the second Paige woke up their flight started boarding. Her and Azzi got up. Azzi hugged me and then pulled Rose into a hug. Me and Paige looked at each other before a big smile broke out on her face as she hugged me, picking me up as I wrapped my legs around her waist and my arms around her neck, soaking up as much of her as I could get.

"You guys will see each other in a week." Azzi groaned, rolling her eyes at how dramatic we were. Paige put me down, putting her hands on my shoulder before hugging me again, normally this time. We pulled away and she smiled, moving over to Rose and giving her a hug then they were off. Paige waved enthusiastically and almost tripped.

Me and Rose sat down as we waited for our flight. She didn't comment on the hug between me and Paige but I knew once she got her full 9 hours of sleep she would be interrogating me.

Finally our flight boarded and I checked my phone seeing a text from Paige before she left.

I smiled to myself, getting on the plane and falling asleep almost immediately, missing the whole flight till the flight attendants announced we were here.

Once we got off the plane we rushed out to find Rose's family. We found them standing together. Her dad Mark, her mom Josie, her older brother Landon who was 23, her younger sister Nova who was 16 and her youngest brother Milo who was 8.

Rose ran over to them and hugged her mom tightly and I followed behind her, hugging her dad. We hugged everyone excitedly. Me being closest with Landon and Rose being closest with her mom.

"We missed you girls." Mark said taking our bags and putting them in the car. Thank god they had a minivan that managed to fit all of us.

"Tell us everything. How's school? Any boys? Or girls?" Her mom asked, looking between me and Rose.

Rose started talking about school and her classes before Josie turned to me, signaling it was my turn. I talked about classes and school but a blush formed on my face at the thought of Paige who I wasn't talking about.

"There's someone isn't there?" Josie asked with a smirk.

"Yeah, isn't there Jules?" Rose asked giving me the same look.

"Ok ok fine. Her name is Paige and I met her when I got the job for the women's basketball team because she's the star player and we're super close and always together but she's so perfect. Like the prettiest blonde hair and blue eyes and her smile just makes me feel like I'm on a cloud." I admitted and Josie cheered.

"I'm liking the sound of this Paige girl already." Josie exclaimed and grabbed my hand.

"You better be showing us pictures." Nova said and I agreed, knowing I could always talk to Nova about my girl crushes with no judgement.

"Yeah me and Jules are gonna leave early and meet Paige and her friend Azzi in Minnesota." Rose told them and they all got excited.

"You have my snapchat Jules, I better be getting updates." Mark said sternly and everyone started laughing.

My phone started vibrating and I looked down to see Paige calling me.

"Guys, it's her." I screeched, taking a few deep breaths as everyone went quiet

"Yo Jules, you guys get there safe and everything?" She asked and everyone in the car looked at me excitedly.

"Yeah we're with the fam." I smiled

"Tell everyone I say hi." She said

"HIII PAIGE!" Everyone in the car screamed out, making Paige laugh.

"Hey everyone." She responded "I just wanted to check up and make sure you were ok, I'll call you later Julie." She said, a new nickname slipping out.

"Ok bye P, be safe." I responded and hung up with a smile.

"I ship it." Landon said and everyone agreed, making me blush harder.
