Page 70 of He Who Sleeps
Chapter 25
“There she is!” Carleesaid from the other side of the screen. “Girl, you look... I’m not sure how you look.” She grinned. “You look seriously satisfied.”
Petra nodded. She was satisfied. She had woken up with Leo, had some perfect morning sex, and then lazed about in bed another hour with him before he left for work. No running, just cuddling. And it had been one of the best days of her life.
"That's the face of someone that's been thoroughly fucked," Victoria said, squinting at her screen. "Spill it. Now."
“It’s been an...intense twenty-four hours,” she admitted. “I’m sure you guys don’t want the gory details,” she teased.
“The fuck we don’t. You know how long it’s been since I got laid?” Carlee said.
"Not as long as I've been dry," Fiona said mournfully. "I'm starting to think mine might have closed over. So yeah, we need the details."
“Cobwebs... I’m pretty sure I got bats up there. It’s like a cave.” Carlee laughed. “So let us live vicariously through you, cuz it’s obvious it was one hell of a dicking...unless you have switched sides?”
Petra shook her head. “Oh, it was dick,” she said and smirked. “A few, actually.”
"You had a gang bang?" Fiona gasped, her eyes alight with curiosity. "You dark horse! Tell us everything!"
“No...well... No, a threesome,” she cocked her head and looked up squinting, and then frowned. “Nothing more than that yet,” she offered.
“Yet... Pet, what are you into? Are you...are you seeing two guys? I mean clearly you have been with two but are you...”
“Seven,” she said softly. “Seven men.”
"I'm sorry, I think I misheard that," Victoria frowned at the screen. "It sounded like you said seven men."
She nodded. “I did. Seven amazing men.” She smiled wistfully.
Carlee, who had her tea cup poised at her mouth moved, and dumped tea into her lap. “Ah, fuck!”
"What the fuck?" Fiona was staring at the screen, her jaw dropped. "Seven?"
"How?" Victoria screeched. "Stop this coy shit and start at the beginning!"
"What the fuck?" Fiona whispered again.
“Starting at the beginning...” She laughed. “That’s a bit of history there.” She shook her head. How much to tell them? “Well, I met them three years ago. Halloween weekend.”
“Hold up, that’s what you are doing Halloween weekend? Seven hot dudes?” Carlee had recovered enough to be indignant. “Fuck beans, how the hell is that fair?”
"Wait!" Victoria was literally screeching. "You've been fucking seven guys for three years and you're only just telling us about it now?! What kind of shitty friend does that?!"
"It's a cult, isn't it?" Fiona said, sobering. "That's why you didn't say anything. You've been inducted into some cult that passes you around like a sex toy."
Petra scrunched up her nose. Fi was closest to the truth. “I mean...I’mnot in a cult,” she offered. “And I’m not passed around as a sex toy.” Okay, that was stretching it.
"There's a 'but' coming," Fiona sighed. "And that's probably exactly what you would say if you were in a cult. Do you need an intervention?"
“Nobut,” she offered. “I met them three years ago, and we got on, and we get it on, no strings,” she swallowed, “before this year once a year...Halloween.”
“So what happened this year?” Carlee asked.
“We all decided we wanted more.”
“Okay, but...how did you guys get together?”
“It was a party here.”
