He shifted his gaze to me, expression smoothing out. He turned back to the kitchen and opened the fridge.
"Are you sure you don't want something to eat?" he asked. "I can probably whip up some quick scrambled eggs."
"I'll pick up a bagel or something on the way to the job," I said. "I just need to stop at home quickly to shower and grab a change of clothes."
Mason tugged at the t-shirt I was wearing and drew me close. He put his arms around my waist and cupped my ass over the thin cotton.
"Are you sure you need to change?" he asked. "I kind of like this look."
He placed a soft kiss on my neck. A shiver went through my spine. Heat trickled down my stomach to settle between my legs. My body was ready for another round, already starting to burn with desire.
I set my coffee down and wrapped my arms around Mason's neck, pressing close to bring our chests together. My breasts rubbed against his firm muscles, making my nipples turn stiff at the friction.
"As much as I would love to go for another round," I said regretfully, "we'll need to get going soon if we don't want to be late."
Mason squeezed and kneaded one last time before giving me a pat on the ass and letting me go.
"I have an idea," he said with a glint in his eyes. "How do you feel about shower sex?"
A tingle flared up between my legs.
"We do both need to get cleaned up," I pointed out.
"And it would save time," he added.
Now it was my turn to grab his ass and squeeze.
"How big is your shower?" I asked him.
He brought his mouth to mine and murmured against my lips.
"Big enough."

"This space is exactlywhat I expected it to look like," Mason said.
"How do you mean?" I asked.
He waved his hand, gesturing around the living room of the client's house.
"If they're wealthy enough to hire people to put together their IKEA furniture," he started, "then it makes sense they'd have a nice, fancy house. But the fact that they bought IKEA furniture and not something more expensive tells me they aren't willing to throw their money around. They're well off but frugal and pressed for time."
"What are you now, Sherlock?" I asked.
"I'm good at reading situations," he said. "Ready to jump in and get started?"
I went to one of the large boxes sitting in the middle of the living room floor and took out a pair of scissors. After carefully slicing through the tape, making sure not to damage the contents inside, I pulled out the instructions and gave them a brief look. I set the paper down and began pulling out the individual pieces.
"What are you doing?" Mason asked.
I turned to him quizzically.
"I'm taking out all the stuff so we can put it together." I didn't complete the sentence withobviously.
"You didn't read the instruction booklet," he said.
"I'll read it later," I said. "First I want to lay everything out."
