Finn

I love hearing your voice, but I also love your silence.

She has no idea those are the words I’ve been wanting to hear my whole life. Needed to hear, without even realizing it.

I almost told her I love her right then. The words have been on the tip of my tongue ever since. Waiting for the right moment to breathe them into her ear.

But fear keeps the words buried. By now, she knows already. She knows I love her. But she hasn’t said it either. Because I can’t expect that. Can’t expect her to love me, accept me, for all that I am. All that I can’t offer her.

What I can do is bring her a coffee while she studies in the library. Her favorite. Iced caramel macchiato. Light on the milk and ice. Heavy on the espresso, vanilla syrup, and caramel sauce.

Halfway between the coffee shop and the library, a familiar face captures my attention. I spin to head in the other direction.

But I’m too late.

Footsteps run up behind me, and my sister punches my arm before her eyes widen at the coffee she nearly makes me spill. With a hand, she signs, Sorry !

Asshole .

She sticks her tongue out at me.

What are you doing here?

College tour . She gestures to a group heading into the library.

You’ve been on this campus before. Multiple times.

She rolls her eyes. To drop you off freshman year and to one hockey game. That hardly counts. I haven’t gotten the whole tour before. Besides, it was a good excuse to get out of class.

Sounds like you’ll be a promising college student.

Quinn sticks up a single finger at me, and no one around us needs to know sign language to understand what she’s telling me.

Over her head, I spot Aurora leaving the library, her bag slung over her shoulder. Shit . I can’t let them meet. Not yet. Who knows what the hell Quinn will tell her.

But as soon as my hand lands on my sister’s shoulder to guide her in the other direction, Aurora spots us and waves. “Finn!”

Quinn follows my gaze and brightens when she finds Aurora hurrying toward us with a smile. Is that her?

I’ve never seen Quinn’s hands so animated. Yep. Aurora.

When she reaches us, Aurora’s brows furrow with a bit of confusion.

“Quinn,” I tell her.

Before I can introduce Aurora, my sister is already flinging her arms around her. “Aurora! Hi!”

“Hi!” Aurora grins, even as a shred of fear glints in her eyes. Everyone’s a little afraid of Quinn.

I sign to Quinn. Aurora knows sign language.

Somehow, Quinn’s grin widens. Really?

A little . Aurora smiles meekly. Always hesitant to give herself the recognition she deserves. Downplaying her accomplishments, her abilities. Someday, she won’t. Someday, she’ll realize exactly how incredible she is. She’ll see herself the way I see her.

Quinn squeals before yanking Aurora to her again in a nearly violent hug. I’m about to intervene when Quinn finally releases her. Good luck to the guy she sets her sights on.

I’m so happy to finally meet you! I’m going to tell you all of Finn’s deepest, darkest secrets.

Aurora flashes a mischievous grin my way. Exactly what I feared. “I can’t wait. Shit, I mean—” She starts to sign the words when Quinn shakes her head.

“That’s okay. This helps.” Quinn points at the hearing aid in her ear. “And I’m really good at reading lips. It’s just easier with our hands with me and Finn. Feels more like my first language, you know?”

Aurora nods, even if she doesn’t know. Not really. But she can imagine what it’s like in Quinn’s shoes. She doesn’t need to have firsthand experience to understand. Yet another part of her I love.

I hand Aurora her coffee, and she offers me a sweet thanks .

Quinn loops her arm through Aurora’s, and even though she insists that Aurora is a better tour guide than the one from the admissions office, Quinn is the one leading the way.

She always is. I trail behind them, shielding my eyes against the bright sun.

But Aurora is laughing and so is Quinn. And I can’t bring myself to stop it.

Because I’m pretty sure nothing has ever made me happier.

When we make it through the library, her group is lining up for the bus in the parking lot. “Did I tell you about when Finn fell flat on his face here his first day of freshman orientation? His pants split and everything.”

Aurora barks a laugh. “Really?”

“That”—I force the words out—“didn’t happen.”

I sign Liar in Quinn’s direction. At least tell her embarrassing stories that are true.

Quinn shrugs with a smug smile before nodding at something behind me. “Looks like you’ve got a puck bunny following you.”

My gaze darts to Aurora. Measuring her reaction. Bracing for jealousy, anger, resentment. None of it comes. She doesn’t even glance in the puck bunny’s direction. Unbothered.

Good. She should be. She’s finally learned that no one compares to her. We don’t want anyone else. Only her.

And she’ll love what we have planned for her later.

By the time I shoot a look over my shoulder, the girl is already heading in the opposite direction. Face hidden.

Quinn leans on her foot, hands on her hips as Aurora lifts her coffee to her lips. “So. My brother’s obviously in love with you. Is it mutual?”

Aurora sputters on her coffee.

“Go.” I point to the bus, where the last of her group is boarding.

Quinn grins before hugging Aurora again, nearly sending the rest of her coffee sloshing over the rim. “Nice meeting you!”

My sister runs to catch up, disappearing onto the bus with a final wave. Her question hangs between us, heavy and enormous. Anchoring us in place.

Finally, Aurora breaks the silence. “Should we go back to the library?”

I shake my head. Rest my hand on her lower back. She bites her lip in anticipation. “We’ve got other plans.”

Miraculously, no one else is home. We’ve got the house to ourselves. Me, Knox, Damien, and Aurora.

Good thing. Aurora’s going to bring the walls down with her screams if I have to keep my head between her legs all night.

In Knox’s room, he and Damien are already waiting for us. She leads the way, adrenaline propelling her forward. Guiding me by the hand until I shut the door behind us.

Knox and Damien stand from his bed. The three of us surrounding her. Curtains open to put our angel on display.

Hot anticipation boils low in my gut. I’ve never needed her— anything —so badly.

As soon as she’s halfway through the room, she halts and spins on her heel. Chews her lip. Adorable when she’s nervous. “I want to take care of all of you this time.”

Damien lets out a dark chuckle. “What do you think you’ve been doing?”

“I mean, I want you all to relax and let me...” She gestures toward the bed.

Knox shakes his head. “You’re going to have to tell us what you want, angel. Or show us.”

She lifts her chin and pushes her shoulders back. “Sit on the bed.”

We follow her instructions with smirks. We know exactly what our girl’s got up her sleeve. Can’t wait to watch her struggle to swallow every load again.

When we’re all perched on the edge of the bed, Aurora nods, hands on her hips like a teacher. The thought makes me harder.

Without a word, she saunters toward me and tugs at the hem of my shirt. “Take these off,” she tells Damien and Knox.

Her fingers graze my skin as she slides the shirt over my head.

Couldn’t remove my gaze from her face even if I wanted.

She’s mesmerizing. The way she wets her bottom lip with a slow drag of her tongue.

The way her brown eyes brighten when they glimpse the skin and hard muscle on my chest, shoulders, abs as she slips the shirt from my shoulders.

Aurora’s palms glide up my bare arms. Resting on my shoulders. She’s examining me, memorizing every inch. Like we’re the only two in the room.

Knox tosses his shirt at her head playfully, breaking us out of our trance. She fakes a scowl as she drops his shirt to the floor. “What’s next, beautiful?”

“We’re ready for you.” Damien rubs his groin through his slacks, giving her a cocky grin.

She moves to Knox’s bedside table and grabs the bottle of lotion before nodding at Damien. “Lie on the bed. On your stomach.”

“Not sure I like where this is going.” He frowns but does as she says. “No one’s getting pegged tonight, Aurora. Or any night.”

Knox snorts, and I can’t help but chuckle. Aurora holds back her laugh as she approaches him, climbing onto the bed and straddling his legs. “Will you just relax?”

When she squirts lotion onto his bare skin, he flinches and pushes up on a forearm to glare at her. “What the hell are you doing?”

Aurora’s brows furrow. Slowly, she says, “Giving you a back massage? Duh.”

For a second, Damien is stunned. No girl’s ever given me a massage before. By Damien’s face, no girl’s ever given him one either.

Reluctantly, he relaxes, and Aurora rubs the lotion into his shoulders before working her way down his back. Damien groans into the mattress like it’s the best thing he’s ever felt in his life, and I’m growing more jealous by the minute.

Knox can’t stand being left out for long. He pulls off her dress, revealing her bra and thong.

Knox grabs the lotion and squeezes a dollop into his palm before rubbing her back. Aurora lets out a small moan, hands pausing on Damien’s skin as she leans into Knox’s touch. Can’t wait to hear her moaning like that for me.

I shift onto the bed, cupping her chin and forcing her gaze to meet mine. “You like that?”

She nods, biting her lip before my teeth replace hers. She gasps into my mouth as I soothe the spot with my tongue.

Aurora moans into my mouth as Knox digs into a knot in her shoulders, and she somehow manages to knead Damien’s lower back.

I can already taste how sweet she’ll be when all this build-up finally comes to a head.

Aurora climbs off Damien and instructs Knox to lie on his stomach next. He sings her praises while she gives him, apparently, the best massage of his life.

“How did you know?” Knox groans.
