Page 10 of Deadly Obsession
He’s giving me submissive vibes. Compliant men somehow always find me.
This is exactly what I need.
“Kiss my feet.”
It’s a little strong off the top, but I’m not messing around tonight. If I’m going to fuck someone else to forget about Elias, I need them to do anything I want.
Ryan pauses and glances around.
No one is paying attention to us so he sinks to the ground on his hands and knees.
He moves in to kiss my Louboutins, but I take hold of his hair, stopping him.
“You think I’d let that dirty mouth on my designer pumps?”
He groans, his pupils expanding. “Please, let me take you home. I need…”
I tug on his hair harder and force him upright on his knees. He’s a tall man so his head aligns with my chest. I lean in and whisper across his lips, “What? Tell me.”
I pull back when he tries to kiss me.
What the fuck?
I never refuse a kiss from a hot guy.
“I need you.”
Boring fucking answer.
“Get up,” I nearly growl because my body tells me we want this, but my brain is trying to steer us off course.
Because of Elias.
“Pay your tab, and we can go.”
He smiles, and it lights up his face. He really is a gorgeous man. I just wish I’d stop comparing him to someone else.
“And tip your bartender—generously.”
It takes about ten minutes for Ryan to cash out, then we’re making our way through the crowd to coat check.
He calls a ride share and after getting our coats, we’re heading to the Upper West Side to his apartment.
My heart races, and I know it has nothing to do with Ryan.
I’m nervous… no, anxious. NO. This is guilt. It’s me feeling as if I’m about to do something wrong, which makes no sense.
Elias was just a one-night stand!
Ryan talks my ear off for the rest of the ride, and I expertly tune him out while giving him generic answers: ‘oh?’ ‘wow’ ‘that’s cool.’
His apartment is a small studio, but big enough for a queen bed, couch, coffee table, a few bookcases, a dresser, and a tiny table with two chairs in the tiny kitchen area.
As soon as he shuts the door and locks it, he’s on me.
He tries to kiss me on the lips, but I avert my head, and his mouth lands on my jaw before trailing down my neck. He walks us to his bed, and I pull away.
“What? What’s wrong?”
