Page 74 of Damian & Jun, Episodes 13-16
“Change! Quickly!” Jun pushed them forward towards their outfit switch. “Two minutes!” He was already naked from the waist up. As he switched pants he shot Damian looks. “Any updates?”
“Keep your head in the game. Nothing to report.”
“Where is he?”
“Headed towards BBB3 headquarters, or somewhere close. He’s nowhere near here.”
Jun grimaced. “Guess he heard what I said.”
“Whatever he does is on him.”
“On both of them.” Jun pulled on his vest and started to do up the buckles around the waist. The top part was left unfastened, showing hints of his chest. Someone from wardrobe came over and buckled leather straps around Jun’s arms. With his hair damp with sweat, his muscles warm and worked up, and his eyes burning with intensity, the only thing keeping Damian from throwing him up against a wall and starting a primal scene right there was absolutely everything. Which was a crying shame.
Bak Sahyuk was out there. Thousands of fans were screaming Jun’s name. The venue managers would be scandalized. The Merchari would reconsider their investment. It was enough that Yohei had already tossed Su-jin up against a wall.
Damian couldn’t even say the things he was thinking. His chest rose and fell. At some point, soon, he was going to finally get the dungeon space up and running and then Jun could perform and Damian could be as filthy as he wanted, in a space that would cheer for them both.
Jun grimaced, then gave him a lopsided smirk and dragged a hand from his throat down to just below the waist of his pants. He raised an eyebrow and mouthed “want this?”
Damian growled.
Jun’s face split open into a wide smile. Later, alpha.
Geun slapped Jun on the shoulder. “Hyung, time.”
“On it.” Jun grabbed an open bottle of water from an assistant and rushed back towards the stage.
Damian’s phone buzzed in his pocket. Eyes on the monitor for the stage, he answered. “Sathers speaking.”
“Mr. Sathers.”
Damian’s stomach tightened. “Mr. Su. What can I do for you?”
“Bak Gyeong is dead. He was shot in his office at his company headquarters a few minutes ago.”
Damian closed his eyes and sagged backward to the wall behind him. It could have been us. Jun. Or me. Or anyone here.
“The police were on the fence on whether to share this information with you and your security. Please keep it to relevant parties.”
“I will. Thank you for calling.” Damian swallowed.
“I remember my students, Mr. Sathers. And I remember my children, all of them, for all of my country.”
Damian blinked hard, and rubbed his face, his skin tingling all the way across his chest. “Thank you.”
“I’m told Bak Sahyuk is no longer there. Be safe. You’re having an after party tonight, yes?”
“You’re invited, if you wish to come.”
“I will attend. Send the information to this number.”
Damian swallowed and straightened his back. “It will be our honor to have you.”
Damian hung up and immediately made another call, this one to Richard. “Bak Gyeong is dead.”
“Sahyuk?” Richard said.
“Looks like it.”
