“Leave it.” Jude answered. “I’ll do it. I’ll watch her door.”
I gave Silas a shrug and turned away, leaving them all behind.
Beep.
My cell vibrated. I grabbed it out as I headed for my bedroom and stepped through, flicking on the light and closed the door. I stared at the screen but saw nothing, just the image of her tears falling down her cheeks.I don’t know! Don’t you get that? I don’t remember anything.
I leaned against the door shifting my weight. Still my fucking erection didn’t ease, aching all the way to my goddamn balls. I need to get out of here. A line or two of coke and I’d get my stuck-up fucking sister out of my head. I licked my lips and pushed off, finding the message once more on my cell.
Stevie:We’re waiting for you at Jacks.
“On my fucking way.” I strode into my wardrobe, grabbed my jacket then turned around and left.
The streets blurred behind the wheel of the Audi RS-7. I shifted gears, hugging the corners and pushed it harder on the straight, pulling in behind the steady stream of traffic heading downtown.
That’s why he killed her, isn’t it? Because she was having an affair.
NO!
I drove my foot harder against the accelerator as Angelica’s scream ripped through my head. Headlights blinding me. Horns blared. I wrenched the wheel, pulling back onto the right lane and barked.“Fuck!”
My pulse was booming.
The sound, thunderous in my head.
I couldn’t shake that goddamn image of her on her fucking knees, rubbing her face against Silas’s cock like a cat drunk on milk. She fucking loved it…No, she needed it.
Christ, I’d never seen a woman so fucking obsessed with being on her knees like that before. It was like she was possessed or something…our goddamn sister, adopted or not. She’d lived with us for long enough to know what we did was wrong.
Very fucking wrong.
My fist clenched around the wheel. Now Lincoln knew what we’d done. He was going to use it against us. That was only a matter of time. “Fuck.” I grunted and yanked the wheel, pulling into the back street and pulled into a parking lot marked No Entry.
Signs like that weren’t meant for people like me. I pulled the Audi into the parking lot and killed the engine before climbing out and locked the car behind me. The dull throb of music spilled from inside. Looked like the party had already started. I stopped at the rear door, wrapped my knuckles on the damn thing and waited. Heavy footsteps sounded before the door was wrenched open. I stared into the savage glare from the six-foot four bouncer on the other side and muttered. “It’s me, open up.”
He did.
Of course he did.
I pushed past and walked along the hallway until it spilled out into the back area. Black and chrome filled the space, glinting from low lights at my feet. Glasses clinked. Girls laughed and guys chatted. They all turned my way as I walked in and stopped at the back bar.
I didn’t even have to speak. The bartender turned and grabbed a bottle from the top shelf before pouring it neat.
“There you are, it's about time you got here.”
I turned at the husky female tone. Stevie sauntered her way toward me, wearing a pantsuit that was split to her thigh, leaving very little to the imagination. She grabbed me, pressing her body against mine and kissed me…hard.
We’d fucked.
Once.
That was all it took for her to brand me as one of her playthings. A name I didn’t care about. Not that it stopped me from getting as much cunt as I wanted. She broke the kiss, but instead of pulling away she leaned in close to whisper in my ear. “I have some of the purest shit you’ve ever tasted in your life.”
A glass slid my way. “How pure?”
She eased backwards, meeting my stare. “As the driven snow.”
I grabbed my glass and followed her to the back room of this small and exclusive club. Only the wealthy came here, billionaires with their Maserati’s and two hundred and fifty k Rolexes with their weekend houses in Malibu which they never visited. No, they stayed here….because in this city was where the fun was.
