Story: Closing on Lynx (Royal Bastards MC: Northern , Ontario #1)
Jessikah
“No, I have proven to you everything. All the questions you are asking me about the client have been proven in the documents I have submitted through the lender portal. Which, may I add, you have still not gone through and checked to approve said documents,” I say into the phone, staring at the email I got from one of the lenders I am using for one of my current clients.
“Jessikah, you haven’t answered any of my questions,” the distorted voice says, causing me to growl in frustration.
“How about this. I am going to hang up the phone. I will call Landon Merit and have a discussion on your underwriting practices. I have been in this game for years, and you are the first underwriter who has never looked at the documents provided, and just assumed something. Chat with you soon.” I hang up the phone and rub my temples.
“She is still going on about us not proving it?” Tina asks, walking into the office with a cup of coffee and a cheese croissant.
“You saw the email. Every question she asked about was noted and proven through the file and in documents. Documents she hasn’t even looked at,” I grumble, searching my phone for Landon’s number.
“Where do they hire these people?” Tina says, as my phone connects and starts to ring.
“Landon speaking, let me help you fulfil your dreams of owning a home,” his voice loud in my office.
“Landon, buddy. It’s Jessikah Gorman. How are you doing?”
“Jessikah, it’s been a while. Thank you for all your support with the clients you send through to us. How can I help you?” he asks, his voice chipper.
“I have a new file in with you. File number eight two dash one, three, three, four. Clients are looking to refinance. My issue is, your underwriter has not looked at any of the documents and has sent me questions that I have not only answered repeatedly, but proven within the documents that I sent in. This file should have been a slam dunk file, but the underwriter has literally sat on it for a week,” I explain, the headache nagging the back of my eyes.
Making it hard to look at the computer screen.
I can hear his fingers flying across the keyboard. The silence on the line lets me know he is actually looking into the file. I know Landon. He will research thoroughly before he speaks.
“Okay, I can see the underwriter has done no work on this file. Let me check the communication history so I can see what she is asking for. Give me five minutes. I am going to place you on hold.” The distinct sound of elevator music plays, the song making me feel like I am on Jeopardy waiting for the answer, so I can ask the question.
“Jess, Paul is here,” Tina states, causing me to look over my shoulder at her and nod.
“Show him in and I will get his signing package ready once I am done with Landon.” She nods. As she spins around and steps back, Paul walks in. Not only did this man bring me to orgasm with just his voice, but he gave me multiple ones before taking his on pleasure.
As I watch him stride in, his thighs encased in a pair of blue jeans, a black t-shirt stretched across his chest. This man makes me want to tear off my clothes and ride him like a pony, only butt ass naked.
“Jessikah, I will have the commitment to you later this afternoon. I just need to have a serious conversation with management over said underwriter and have one of the other ones finish reviewing all the documents. It looks like you have all the documents we would need, expect for the solicitor and a few others. But you will get an updated list when the commitment is emailed. I am sorry about this,” Landon states, we say our closing and have a good laugh at how sometimes a lazy one slips through and we both hang up.
“Watching you take command of a situation is hot,” Paul mumbles, reaching down and adjusting himself.
“Watching you walk towards me is hot, especially in blue jeans.” I smirk as I listen to him groan.
“So, we are signing your life away today. If you get a hand cramp, please let me know and we can take a break.” I put all the documents on the desk in front of me and start to explain everything to him as we slowly go through all the documents I must get signed in order for me to stay compliant.
“One more signature, and then we are good. I believe I have all the documentsthe lender requested, so this is likely the last one. I won’t say it is the last one until I get the broker complete notification from the lender.
” Paul nods, places his signature on the last portion of the documents, and places the pen down.
“Thank you, Jess. You have made this process a lot easier than when I first got the mortgage. I am pretty sure the person I was dealing with wanted to know the size of my cock and if I know how to use it,” Paul says, spreading his feet apart and leaning his elbows on his knees.
I set the signed papers in the paper feeder and start the scan process before I turn back to Paul and lean forward, making sure he can see down my blouse. “Now I need to know what I have to wear tonight. You said dinner, but where are we going for dinner?”
“I should have told you we were having dinner here and sent Tina to the clubhouse. But I told you I would take you out, and I am a man of my word. I had planned on taking you to a pizza restaurant on the main drag and then going for a walk along the Lake Nipissing waterfront and maybe even jump on the Heritage Railway train and have a leisure spin on the train.” I smile at him.
My favorite thing to do is ride the train.
“Sounds perfect, but I don’t want to go anywhere fancy. How about Burger World? Then before we go to the waterfront, we can head to the pet store? I need to pick up a few things for Moose.” He smiles as Moose trots in and sits beside Paul, his chest puffed out and his head held high.
“My boy needs to get spoiled.” Paul rubs behind Moose’s ear, making his back paw thumb against the floor.
“How about you make a list of what you need from the pet store? I’ll take Moose with me and spoil the boy and by the time I get back you will have had time to finish work and get ready for dinner. ”
“I’ll give you my card. It’s the one I use for Moose’s bills.” Paul states, as I reach into the desk and hand Paul a credit card, which he doesn’t accept.
“No, I will pay for everything today for him. I do have to make a stop at the clubhouse and change, so it will take a bit. We should be back around four o’clock.
Where is Moose’s harness and muzzle.” I tell him the basket by the front door and watch as he stands and whistles for Moose to follow him.
***
Tina comes into my office just as the lender sends through the commitment from earlier. “Girl, did that man take Moose with him?”
“He is picking up the stuff we needed for Moose, like the big bag of dog food and a replenishment of treats, and when he comes home, we are going for dinner,” I mumble, as I download the commitment, relabel it and send it off in a congratulations email.
“Home, huh?” Tina says, my head turning to hers as a smile spreads across her face. “Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I am going to the clubhouse. I am hoping to snag me an orgasm like you had last night.” She smirks.
“Tina, how can you be over what happened to you? We were both raped, both assaulted, and we both saw things that not many people see daily. Yet, you seem to be over it,” I ask.
I have been so afraid to let Paul get close to me.
That even today when he sat across from me, I couldn’t control the pounding in my chest.
“Jess, I will never forget what that animal did to me, to you, or even my poor dead husband. But I can’t let it control me.
He controlled me for hours. Telling me when I could take a shit or eat.
Pulling orgasms from me that he didn’t deserve.
I realized I won’t let anyone control me anymore.
I get to make all the choices in my life.
No one else gets that over me. Anyone that’s wants in my pussy has to follow my rules. My orgasm, my way,” Tina says.
“How?” I whisper.
“Do you like being controlled by the fear of the unknown?” I shake my head.
“Do you like feeling like the next gust of wind is going to break you?” Her rapid-fire questions throw my mind into a tailspin. The answers to her questions are no. They are always no.
“I am tired of living in fear. I want to live,” I state.
“Then stop living in fear and start living for the moment. If you don’t, life is going to pass you by and the next thing you know you are lying in a hospital bed, with only me at your bedside.
Do you want to live the remaining days, months, years of your life living out loud.
Finding a man,” she smirks at me, “and living for you.”
“You’re right. No more. I want all the bullshit that happened in the past to stay exactly where it is and where it belongs. Buried deep with that piece of shit,” I mumble.
“Then close your computer for the night and go and get all gussied up for your date with Paul. Then, Jess. Go out and live!” she shouts, causing me to chuckle but follow exactly what she said to do. Making sure to push all my calls to my voice mail. Then locking my office for the night.
Showering and then pampering myself before putting on the outfit I picked for the night. I hope I can pull it off.
