Page 138 of Broken Souls
I fuck her hard, slapping her ass until it’s red and sore and I’m filling her with my cum. Digging my fingers into both her cheeks, I arch back with a groan. My balls are completely empty, but she’s so fucking full from all the loads she took last night that it doesn’t even matter. Our thighs are soaked, the bed is ruined, and the entire room smells like it’s been scent-marked by an incubus. Maddox will probably move out of the house after this. A good thing because I don’t know how long I can live with him before I snap and kill him.
Collapsing on top of her, I bite her neck with a low growl. She whimpers as she clutches the sheets. I start rocking inside her again even though I’m no longer hard. I just can’t get enough of her.
Pulling out, I roll her onto her back and settle between her legs. She moans as I lick her slowly, too tired to even thread her fingers in my hair.
A couple hours later, I manage to get Micha down for breakfast. She finally has her appetite back after a week of barely eating, and I watch her with pride as she finishes her plate of bacon and eggs while she talks to her sister. She hasn’t touched her glass of water though.
“Drink,” I say.
“I’m not thir–”
“Finish it.”
Lou snickers, and I’m certain Micha kicks her under the table given how her sister then winces and sticks out her tongue.
Sighing, Micha grabs the glass and raises it to her lips.
“Good girl.”
Lou coughs, as does Dayne beside her, but my attention moves to the rest of the people at the table. When my eyes skirt past Maddox, my hand settles on my butter knife. The fucker shifted into a wolf last night, and although I know that must have already been planned given Zita was able to take his cock rather than get split in half, a dark voice inside my head is telling me he did that just so he could see better, hear better. Smell Micha’s pussy so much fucking better.
Her hand lands on my lap, and I realize she can feel my jealousy. I suspect our blood bond strengthened last night with one of us having finally made payment, but I still can’t fucking feel it.Dammit.What if I never get to?
My muscles tight, I grab her hand, then release the knife in my other. I am the Boss of the Shadow Domain, and I am in control.
“Lou, Dayne, leave,” I say as soon as I notice they’ve finished eating. Lou stands immediately, but Dayne glances at Micha first. I haven’t told him I’m bringing him into my Family yet, so his loyalty isn’t to me. Though I suspect, even after he says his vows, Micha will always be his priority.
She looks at him, and he rises. A spark of jealousy ignites at how well they can communicate without words, and she squeezes my leg to tell me to cool it.
I slide her hand up my thigh. My cock twitches beneath her palm. She slams her glass down and coughs as a blush heats her cheek. Lou looks back at her with a weird look, and Micha covers her mouth with a hand. “Wrong pipe,” she says.
I grin.
Lou looks at me, then blushes herself as her head whips back around.
As soon as the two outsiders leave the room, I let her go. All eyes turn to me, my brothers understanding that I have just called a meeting.
“Aleric told me yesterday,” I sign with my hands, getting straight to the point, “that Cara has had a breakthrough.” When he wanted me to show him to the bathroom, it turns out he wasn’t just being a total prick. “She thinks she’ll have the disease perfected in another day or so.”
“How do we deliver it?” Leno asks.
“She’ll coat some weapons with it.”
Enoch groans. “You mean swords, right? She’s putting it on fucking swords and not bullets.”
“Yes.”
“Why?” he whines. “A gun is so much easier to use.”
“The spell is unstable, and she doesn’t want it mixing with black powder.”
He grumbles beneath his breath, but he accepts that answer.
“Can I have it on a knife?” Maddox signs.
I nod.
“What effect will it have on us?” Leno asks.
