“How many men we talking?”
“Like ten. I can’t do it by myself,” Sawyer says. What in the ever loving….? What is going on? I want to strangle him. What did he do to everyone?
“I can arrange to meet you there tomorrow, with ten men of my own. Will that suffice?”
“It will.”
“Then after that, you will leave, and I can have my land?”
“You can. I know you are wanting to get started on plans right away,” Sawyer tells him.
“I have lots of plans for that place and her,” he points at me. It’s the first time I see either man look at me. Sawyer has a pleading look in his eyes, like he’s trying to convey something to me.
“Thank you for your time,” Pike tells the man, Santorini.
“Please, come stay with me. We have girls, pools, good food,” he tells Sawyer.
“Thanks,” Sawyer accepts.
“My car is waiting,” Santorini grabs my arm and I see both men stiffen for a split second.
He tosses me in and climbs in next to me, Sawyer sits on my other side.
“Is she for sale?”
“Her?” Santorini points at me.
“Yeah, we like to share.”
“For a good price, yeah.”
“What’s a good price?” Pike asks.
“I’ll let you have a turn with her for two hundred thousand.”
“Where do I wire it to?” Pike asks.
“I’ll message Sawyer the details,” Santorini says right as we pull up to his house.
“We’ll take her now,” Sawyer says.
“Pablo, show them to the bungalow,” Santorini dismisses us as he heads inside. Pike grabs my arm and drags me with them.
“Play along,” he whispers in my ear.
We get to this little bungalow and are let in. Pike tosses me toward the couch and shuts the door, telling the man we need privacy.
“You good?” Sawyer asks me.
“He only slapped me once but not sure what he has planned for me after this.”
“We planned for this. Jace and Stetson are in the area, but we need to go through with getting him to the property. Can you hold out a little longer?” Sawyer asks, giving me a sympathetic look.
“Tomorrow?” I ask them.
“Yeah, tomorrow. Everyone is ready to end this,” Pike says.
“Gage?”
