“Honestly, I thought you were so possessive and loving while we’re there to setourminds at ease, not your own.” Ryder shrugged. “You’re our entire fucking world. We proved that to you time and time again.”
Fallon’s heated eyes continued to hold mine, promising punishment for my irrational jealousy. Punishment in the form of ropes and spankings.
Heat swarmed low in my stomach, and I squirmed uncomfortably. Fallon, seeing what his expressive look did to me, turned towards the windshield, smiling smugly.
Asshole.
His lips twitched once more, the only indication I had spoken out loud.
Time moved slowly, gruelingly slow, as I stared at the back of Fallon’s head, listening to my men converse half-heartedly. It was so...normal. So right. This was how it was always meant to be, how love was meant to be. And Fallon? He had a good back of head.
“We need to get in contact with the others,” Fallon said abruptly, interrupting Ryder’s long-winded spiel about the best way to hide a body.
I half wished I paid attention to that conversation instead of eye-humping Fallon. Oh well. Hopefully the body in question wasn’t anyone I knew.
At Fallon’s words, I eagerly raised my hand into the air.
“Me! Me! Me!”
Rolling his eyes with a slight smirk, he handed me the black radio.
“You press down on the-”
“Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.” I waved my hand dismissively, interrupting Ryder’s pointless instructions. I was the Badass Ball Breaker. I knew how to use a damn radio.
“Not a Badass Ball Breaker,” murmured Asher. I shushed him.
Assuring that the radio was already switched to the designated channel, I pressed down on the button. The static receded instantly.
“Badass Ball Breaker to Giant and the Peeps. Badass Ball Breaker to Giant and the Peeps.”
I took my thumb off the button and waited. At first, there was nothing but static. Finally, Calax’s wary voice came through.
“Am I Giant?”
“Of course.” I rolled my eyes. “In more ways than one.”
Silence.
“Fuck, Baby. You really know how to boost a man’s ego.”
I didn’t knowhowI boosted his ego when I had merely been talking about his big head. Maybe he misconstrued my words…?
Realization slammed into me with the force of a semi-truck. Oh. His cock. Yeah, that was giant too.
“So does that mean Tamson and Declan are the Peeps?” Calax continued, amused. “I don’t know how well they’ll take that.”
“Well, it would’ve been a mouthful to say Quack and the Ginger.”
Ryder snorted, laughter dancing in his dark umber eyes.
Silence.
“What the fuck?” Calax asked. I could picture his eyes widening slightly, almost imperceptibly. No doubt, Tamson would be signing the conversation to Declan. All three of my men would be staring at the radio with a quirk to their brows and amused expressions.
“Because Declan’s nickname is Ducky. Quack. Get it? And Tamson has reddish brown hair? Get it.”
I waved my hand dismissively - a gesture I knew they couldn’t see - and gave Asher an eyeroll. Did they really want me to spend hours explaining their nicknames? You didn’t see me bitching about being called Kitten and Princess and Baby.
