Story: Shattered
Letting Ledger West out of prison would cause Dekker and his mother nothing but problems. It would cause people all over Texas nothing but problems.
“Hey.” I turn to see Xayden coming into the kitchen. He runs a hand through his hair and heads to the refrigerator. “What are you guys up to?” he asks.
“Nothing. Just finished my little project.” I tap my laptop with my fingers.
“What we talked about?” He unscrews a bottle of water and knocks it back.
I nod. “Yup. All done. And no one will know.”
“Good. Maybe that will get her out of here now. She can go crawl back to where she came from,” Xayden snarls.
“Listen, you know I’m standing beside you no matter what, but I have to ask. Why can’t you just not ignore her? Just let her be?”
I watch him grind his teeth, his jaw set impossibly tight. And maybe I shouldn’t have fucking asked that.
“Because,” he finally breaks the silence, “that bitch and her mother are just out for themselves. The trip my dad and I take every year? Remember how he had to cancel because of ‘work’? It was because he was out there in Vegas, with them. His new wife has him so pussy whipped, he ditched me. Went and spent time with them!
“And Rory? She benefits too! She’s taking my dad’s money with no problem whatsoever. And why here? Why did she need to come here? You mean my dad couldn’t just pay for her college back in Vegas? She and her mom are up to something.”
He groans as he runs a hand down his face.
“Bro, I get it, I do. I just want to make sure you’re okay with all of this, truly. Because the shit we are about to do? It will ruin her.”
I study him, making sure he is truly wanting us to do this.
“Then we ruin her.” He nods and then heads back toward the stairs.
“It’s a shame,” Dekker speaks up, pursing his lips in disdain.
“What is?” I turn to look at him.
“She’s a sexy little thing. Felt so hot under me,” he groans.
“Are we still up on that bet?” I ask.
He smirks. “To see who can fuck her first?”
I nod. “Yeah. Unless you have a better idea.”
“Actually, I do.” His face splits into a grin.
“Spill.” I lean in.
“Well, we both know stepbrother up there wants to sink himself into his stepsister. What if we twist it and see if we can make him jealous enough to fuck her?” he offers.
“Oh, fuck. You know I think I like that better. Shit. That’s great.” I laugh.
“Not just good looks, brother.” Dekker taps his head.
Xayden needs to deal with his obsession with his stepsister in a healthier way.
Having her under him is sure to make the holidays way more fun. Sure to spice things up. Create fun conversations around the Thanksgiving table.
“I think I’m going to head to the gym on campus. See if I can get a couple miles in.” I push back from the counter.
“Fucking running.” Dekker waves me off with a snort.
“Hey man, we aren’t all built like the fucking Hulk.”
