Story: Shattered
Walking out of the house and toward my motorcycle, I throw my leg over it and start her up.
There is no way I will be able to handle my father outside of those prison walls. I tolerate him at best. He is my father, after all. But he is where he belongs. Rotting in prison for taking the life of Senator Phil Settle.
My mother never really told me the whole truth, but from what I have pieced together, the senator was going after the club for their illegal activities. Trying to clean up the town.
My father and the club killed him to make a statement. That no one messes with the Bitter Saints MC.
However, that betrayal came from within their own club. Someone was a mole for the senator. Fed the authorities all the information they needed to take down the MC.
Except the senator still died. The mole never informed the cops of that plan. Which led a lot to speculate that the mole was an initiate and not a member of the inner circle. Since only the inner circle knew what was going down.
As I pull up to the gym, I park my bike and take a look around campus. It’s mid-afternoon and the sun is beating down on me.
The campus is alive with students who are clearly just rolling out of bed and going in search of food, while others are running to a class they are regretting taking on a Friday.
My phone buzzes and I pull it out of my pocket.
Angel:
Are you fucking kidding me?
You turned in the assignment?
When the hell did you even do it?
Why didn’t you tell me you had it done?
What the actual fuck?
I smile as I slip my phone back into my pocket. The phone is still going off, no doubt with more rapid-fire attitude from Rory.
She’s so easy to mess with. She flusters so easily.
And I won’t lie. I’m a little pissed Xayden has made her off-limits for our dicks, but whatever. Spending as much time as possible messing with her, seeing her cheeks turn pink, that will be worth it enough.
And I could always just stroke it to thoughts of bending her over and having that beautiful ass up in the air, waiting for me to slam into her.
Or find other available pussy. Again, whatever.
For now, with my phone still going off in my pocket, I head into the gym to take my mind off of everything.
Everything except my off-limits Angel. She stays.
Chapter Ten
AURORA
I can do this. It’s a date. It’s just a casual date. With a good-looking guy. A really hot-as-fuck guy. A hot-as-fuck guy who has no business asking someone like me out.
I’ve had boyfriends, I’ve been out with guys before. I mean, I used to date all the time.
Just no one ever this hot.
The amount of sexy that drips from him should be illegal. I can tell you, the guys at community college were not this hot. Maybe it’s being in a new town—hell, a new state—that has me more nervous than I should be.
Maybe it’s because I’m still unsure as to why he has the pick of hot chicks here and yet he’s choosing to take me out. This is stupid.
“I can practically hear you canceling,” Addy says from her bed as I look over my outfit in the mirror. Turning, my eyes meet hers as she hops off the bed. “Stop it.”
