Story: Shattered
I turn my attention back toward Rory.
“Couldn’t wait to sleep with my friends, could you? Had to try and hop on their dick the minute you had the opportunity.”
Her face turns red. And I’m not sure if it’s embarrassment or anger. I lean forward and tuck a strand of her pink highlights behind her ears. I feel her shiver from my touch.
“I didn’t sleep with anyone, shithead.” She shakes her head.
“Well, I heard a different story.” I shrug.
“Get away from me.” She knocks my hand away from her face. “All of you, get the fuck away from me.”
“When are you gonna learn that we control how this goes? Not you. Stay the fuck away from my friends. Your mother may have gotten lucky and nabbed a bank account, but Iwillmake it my life’s mission to destroy you if you come anywhere near my friends. You won’t fuck your way to their checkbook,” I seethe.
“Fuck. You. My mother has nothing to do with this.” Rory glares at me, I watch as she curls her fists in her lap.
“She absolutely does. If she didn’t marry my father, we wouldn’t be having the conversation right now. You could be back in Vegas, working the streets.”
“What did I ever do to you, Xayden? Huh?” I can see the tears well up in her eyes. “What did I do to deserve your fucking wrath?”
I push back from the booth, standing up and towering over the seat. “You walked into my world.”
Turning, I head toward the door, complexly losing my appetite. I burst out of the diner and head toward the SUV.
“So, we’re done with breakfast?” Seven asks as he comes up next to me.
I run my hand down my face. “She’s a free for all. Fuck her and throw her away. Maybe her fat ass and her greedy cunt of a mother will leave, and my father and I can get back to our lives. Do what you need to, just make sure she’s as useless of a cunt as her mother is.”
The thought makes me a little sick, but I push it down. I can’t care. I don’t care. They can throw her to the streets when they’re done with her.
They can throw her right back to fucking Vegas for all I care.
Either way, I will be able to breathe easier once she’s gone.

“Is it done?”Dek asks. My eyes find his as he looks up from his phone and leans against the kitchen counter.
“Done. She won’t know what the hell is going on.” I smile at him as I shut my laptop.
This doesn’t make me happy. This sibling squabble as we shall call it. In fact, it bothers me a bit that we are even messing with her like this and not just ignoring her.
Xayden needs to lay off this, but I understand where he’s coming from.
“Going to class today?” Dekker asks before tipping his head back and chugging his drink.
I scrunch my face and shake my head. “Nope. It’s Monday. Not feeling it. Kinda feeling like taking some energy out in the gym instead.”
“Have you talked to Xay at all?”
I frown. “No. He’s been dick deep in pussy since we got back from the diner Saturday. Haven’t you seen the trail of sluts that have been leaving since then?”
Dek shrugs. “Not really. Been busy watching our toy, among other things.” And I know what those other things are.
His father is up for parole. And no one wants that man out. He is as corrupt and evil as they come. There is no way Dekker would have turned out as good as he did if his father was in his life. His dad needs to remain behind bars. And fuck, I hope that parole committee can see that.
Every time he is up, I can see the fear in Dekker’s eyes. Is this the year they get stupid and let a murderer out on the streets again?
