Story: Hello Billionaire
She moved to her side, looking up at me as she ran her hand over my chest. “Is it normally that good for you?”
I chuckled at her question. I knew how to have good sex, but the way this woman had cast her spell over me and made me incapable of walking away? “It’s never been like that.”
“Me neither,” she whispered.
We were silent for a moment, and I scanned her face for a hint of regret. It would have killed me to see it, but I would have known this was a one-time thing. I’d change office spaces immediately, just to make her more comfortable.
But instead, there was only curiosity in her eyes. “I feel like there’s so much I don’t know about you.”
“We haven’t worked together that long, and I’m not... open like you.”
“Is that a slut joke?”
I snorted, a mix of confusion and laughter in an unattractive sound that would probably have her running for the hills. “No, sunshine, it’s not a ‘slut joke.’”
“Just checking.”
I brushed her slightly damp hair back and kissed her temple. “You make it seem so easy; you have people laughing and loving you within minutes of meeting you. I have to be more professional. You never know who you can trust when you get to my level. Most people only want what they can get from me.”
“Most?”
I nodded. “My siblings. I can trust them. I know because they know all my secrets and they haven’t buried me yet.”
She giggled. “I’d pay good money to hear those secrets.”
“You wouldn’t have to pay me. Two minutes with your mouth on my cock and you’d hear them all.”
She smiled, lowering herself under the blanket. Laughing, I hauled her back up to my chest where she was lying earlier.
“Tell me about your siblings,” she said. “I was an only child, and I always wished I’d had a little brother or sister.”
“They’re a pain... but I wouldn’t trade them for anything.” I looked down at her, trying to see what angle she was coming from. Why she wanted to get to know me when most women slept with me for the pride of knowing they bagged a billionaire. But her brown eyes were so wide and trusting I knew I could trust her too.
“I have two brothers and a sister—first Tyler, then Rhett, then Liv. Olivia, really, but no one ever calls her that. Rhett’s the one you met at the club, and he’s pure trouble. He’s a great bull rider, and women love him just about as much as he loves them.”
A smile played along her lips, and in the dimming light coming through the sheer curtains, it was almost magical, this bubble we were in.
“Tyler has always been the responsible one. He takes things so seriously, and he was working his way up to take over a major construction company here in Dallas until...” I let out a sigh, realizing how eerily similar our stories were. Except I could never give up my business, my livelihood, for a woman.
“Until what?” Farrah prompted.
“Until he got married and started senior living apartments.”
I kissed her forehead again, soothing myself as much as her.
“And Liv...” I wracked my brain, trying to think of a way to describe her. “She’s the woman behind my one and only tattoo.”
She raised her eyebrows, curious. “I didn’t see it on your ass.”
“Ha ha,” I said, smiling so naturally around her.
“Where is it?” Farrah asked. “Can I see?”
I lifted my arm that wasn’t under her head so she could see the black ink inside my bicep. She ran her fingertip over the design. “A windmill? For the farm you grew up on?”
“Kind of,” I said. “It’s our sibling tattoo, like a promise that we’ll always be there for each other.”
“Why a windmill?” she asked.
