Kian
Iris is full of jitters once we’re inside Inked Carnage studio. It’s in the way she’s biting the inside of her cheek and staying glued to my side.
Despite the nerves, Iris’s gaze is hooded and highly intrigued as she looks around the place, decorated with art and stunning tattoos.
The gentlemanly act would be to give her another out. However, I’m too territorial and selfish to do so. A glance at the engagement ring on her finger obliterates any chances of that. I’m not waiting until she ends it with Nathan to mark her as mine because she already is. Whenever she’s with him, she’ll remember it too.
Because a piece of jewelry is temporary, but ink is forever.
Stopping before the reception desk, I ask the young assistant, “Is Callie in today?”
“Welcome, yes, she is,” he says, glancing at Iris and me. “Do you have an appointment?”
“No. Tell her Kian is here.”
“Then I’m afraid—”
“She knows me,” I interrupt.
He pauses, then replies, “Wait here a sec.”
As he disappears into one of the back rooms, Iris clears her throat. Sitting on one of the stools so I’m eye level with her, I tug her between my legs. Fascinated by her faux nonchalant expression, I arch a questioning brow.
“Soooo, this Callie,” she drawls, running a finger down the row of buttons on my shirt. “Is she a… friend? Like, how close are we talking?”
It’s the last thing I expect to come from her mouth. Hold on—is she…? I study her closely and repress my smirk. Christ. My little siren is jealous. “Why do you ask?”
“’Cause you’re on a first-name basis with this woman.” She throws up her hands and puts them on her hips, all fire and sass. “I had to turn into a damsel in distress for you to finally call me Iris. So, I’d like to know what’s so special about Callie. Is she your ex or something?”
“You’re jealous.”
“You’re dodging.”
As adorable as Iris is all riled up, I don’t want her harboring wrong ideas. Capturing her throat, I yank her flush against my front. “An hour ago, I had my tongue inside your pussy until you came twice. I’m still high on your cum. Your ass is red with welts that I gave you. You’re going to walk out of here with my name inked onto your skin. You’re the one and only special woman in my life, Iris.”
Her eyes close as a soft breath expels from her lungs. Meeting my gaze again, she possessively stakes her claim. “I don’t share either. You’remyKian. No one else’s.”
“No arguments from me, rainbow.” Smiling, I stroke her lips. “You own me as much as I own you.”
Wrapping her arms around me underneath the jacket, her face presses against my chest as she sighs. Pushing a lock of hair behind her ear, I answer her earlier question. “I’m not friends with Callie. I have no choice but to call her that because she only goes by her first name. And before you ask, I requested her because she owns the studio and is the best tattoo artist in the city. I won’t let just anybody touch you.”
“I trust you,” she murmurs, lifting her head.
Smirking, I share, “She’s also happily committed to her wife.”
“Oh.” Her cheeks go a bright pink. “Good.”
Because she’s irresistible, I kiss her senseless.
We break apart at the sound of two pairs of footsteps approaching us. Keeping Iris tucked against my chest as we face her, I nod at a grinning Callie. She’s added more ink on herself than the last time I saw her.
“Long time no see, big guy,” she greets, rounding to the other side of the reception desk. “Are you finally letting me ink a second tattoo? I see you brought a pretty guest.”
“She’s my woman,” I reply. Iris’s soft breath hitches. “I would like you to ink her.”
“Is that right? I’m honored.” Flashing Iris a welcoming smile, she introduces herself. “Hi, I’m Callie.”
“Hello, I’m Iris.”
