Story: A Matter of Trust: A Carlsbad Village Lesbian Romance
Morgan nodded. Understanding was what she needed because despite what she told Chloë last night, that she was just going to go with this attraction to her and enjoy it, she still wanted some kind of mental handholds to grasp onto while she figured out what exactly was happening to her.
After all, tomorrow night, for the first time in her life, she had a date with a woman.
Chapter 15
Chloë wasn’t one of those women who tried on outfit after outfit while preparing for a date. She knew she could blindfold herself and grab virtually anything off her clothes racks and be stunning in it. This was because she was a very strategic shopper, only buying outfits or individual articles that looked amazing on her. It was only a question, really, of the kind of look she was going for: casual or dressy; sporty or relaxed; prim or smoking-hot sexy—or any combination thereof.
For her date with the Morgan Banks, Chloë had decided on a boho-style spaghetti strap backless mini dress with a lace bodice and a deep V-neck. It was perfect. The coral color was fun and flirty and went well with her skin tone; the dress—like practically all of her dresses—showed off her amazing legs and every time she took a single step, the swing-style hemline fluttered so easily it made her look like she was floating. Bonus: wearing a bra with it was not an option, and while the cups of the bodice provided her size-Cs with sufficient support, they also her allowed her unencumbered girls just the right amount of jiggle.
It was, in short, the kind of dress made to un-confuse a woman.
Her phone chirped as she was strapping on her high heels. It was a text from Sienna.
Want to hang out tonight?
Chloë tapped out her reply.
Can’t. Have a date.
Ooh! The sexy schoolteacher?
Yep! So excited!
You were right, she’s hot! Oh well, guess I have a date with my toy box.
Lol. The blue one should keep you happy tonight.
Needs new batteries LOL
OMG! Slacker! Lol
I’ll make do with the black one.
At least it has more speeds.
I want details of your date! Especially if she puts you in detention! LOL
Don’t get my hopes up!
Chloë put her phone down and finished putting her shoes on. She loved that her arrangement with Sienna allowed them to sometimes spend weeks at a time having amazing sex with each other, while avoiding jealousy whenever one of them started seeing someone else. Nonetheless, Chloë hoped Sienna would get on to replacing the batteries in her blue vibrator. After all, for all Chloë knew, this date with Morgan would lead nowhere and she’d be wanting to spend some time with Sienna and that awesome blue toy.
Finally dressed, Chloë surveyed herself in the full-length mirror.
Amazing!
She touched up her lipstick, grabbed her purse and he
aded downstairs where she put on her fitted wool pea coat.
In her car, before she started the engine, she closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths. She was actually going on a date with the Morgan Banks, the woman whom her high-school-student self once held up in her mind as the one woman who just had to have been created by the goddesses themselves. Even in the intervening years between then and now, when Morgan suddenly reappeared in her life, Chloë had often found herself comparing other women she saw, dated and even had sex with to the teacher she’d had a massive crush on. That woman’s legs weren’t as long as Miss Banks’s, for example. That one was super pretty, but Miss Banks’s cheekbones were more striking. That woman was definitely hot, but Miss Banks had nicer, more tapered fingers.
Chloë had to take another breath when she remembered the feel of Morgan’s fingers on her back as they kissed last night. Actually kissed! Her and Morgan Banks!
Jesus, get a grip!
“Remember,” she said aloud. “This could go nowhere, this could go nowhere, this could go nowhere.”
Still repeating that mantra, she started the engine.
