“Thank you, Rachelle,” he purrs. “I really do love it, and I can’t wait to tell you how much with my tongue on your sweet pussy.”
The words are low enough for only me to hear, and my eyes start to slowly hood as I think about it.
A cough at the entrance to the kitchen turns my head, and I see Emil is there. Blushing furiously, I bite my lip. It doesn’t matter how old I am, I still feel as if I’m getting caught doing something I’m not supposed to.
“Hi,” I say, sounding completely guilty as Elijah laughs under his breath at me.
“I’m going to take your mom to a hotel,” Emil says. “We’ll probably swing by for breakfast, though. She’s going to be very clingy for a while.”
He’s telling me to be properly dressed and ready for breakfast, and my face flushes deeper.
“I feel the same way, so I don’t blame her,” I say instead. “It is really good to have her here.”
“It’s always been the plan to have her come back, things just weren’t right before,” Emil says with a shrug.
God, so many things were wrong is what he’s actually saying. He walks back to the living room, and I start walking when I’m struck with a thought.
“Does this mean I can’t work at Cellie’s anymore?” I ask, glancing at Elijah.
“Why would you say that?” he asks, taking my hand and pulling me into motion.
“Well, Brea knows me as Rachel,” I remind him.
“I’ll have Theo tell her that you were running from some bad men and that now it’s handled and you’re taking back your name,” Elijah replies. “She’s Irish, and enjoys a wild tale. Fair warning, she’ll probably be even more overprotective after Theo tells her that.”
“That’s no different than everyone else in my life,” I tease him.
Saying goodbye to Emil and my mom after walking them to the side door, I agree to see them tomorrow. My smile is still onmy face as I close the door, and Elijah leans against the wall with a smirk.
“What?” I ask, wide eyed as if I don’t know what’s coming.
“You know what,” he says, grabbing me around the waist and picking me up over his shoulder. “It’s birthday sex time!”
All I can do is laugh as a stampede runs up the stairs, and Liliana waves at us.
“Moan extra loud for me, baby. I have a fairy smut book to read and may need some background noise,” she teases me.
I fucking love this crazy life of mine.
CHAPTER 37
IGNACIO
Ifollowed Rachelle and the guys upstairs, but now I feel out of place as I find a spot on the mattress to sit down. I’m fully dressed, watching as the birthday boy undresses his gift. My arms cross as I enjoy all of Rachelle’s beautiful skin revealed.
The dress hits the ground, her strapless bra is thrown to the side, and then Elijah drops to his knees to pull down her panties, his eyes shining with his love. Bit by bit, Rachelle is helping the broken brothers put themselves back together.
Jared climbs onto the bed next to me in a pair of boxers, his eyes on Elijah and Rachelle as well.
“Are you going to be joining us?” he asks softly. Somehow, it’s easier to have this discussion while he’s not looking at me.
Elijah’s soulful eyes, Theo’s assessing ones, and Jared’s knowing gaze… they all manage to see too fucking much.
“I don’t know what I’m doing here,” I sigh.
“The birthday boy should get what he wants,” Jared muses. “Elijah, do you think Rachelle should sit on Ignacio’s face while you suck his cock?”
I’m honestly the only one who could get away with that. Me or Liliana. We keep her tethered to the present, so she can just let go. Who am I to say no to this? The truth is that I want to step back into that easy physical relationship we used to have now that we’re mending things, I just don’t know how to make the first move.
