Page 131 of Unhinged Obsession
I drew another deep breath, trying to calm myself. My attitude was shitty, but I didn’t give a flying fuck. "I can see her on the cameras when she arrives back at her place, but I obviously can't see what the fuck she is doing in the club, so you are going to be my eyes and ears for me tonight. Give me the report when you get there."
Jacob laughed again.
"You need to get laid, boss. You're fucking all tense and shit. I'll get that report to you within an hour."
I sighed, feeling annoyed as hell.
"Okay, thanks."
I disconnected the call and threw the phone across the room, putting a hole in the wall. I was fucking angry all over again because of this goddamn girl!! I needed to release some of this aggression. She is probably going to end up fucking someone tonight, and that made me immensely upset. I was trying to keep my shit under control, but I was having a tough time accomplishing that small goal.
Jacob's right. I need to get laid, which includes a D's session. It's time to get this fucking chick out of my mind before I go nuts. I have felt like a love-sick loser these past four months, and I am tired of it.
She is doing her own thing, not listening to my orders. I was hoping she might have wanted to return. I thought she might have attempted to visit me in Pascoag, but that never happened.
Who the fuck was I kidding?
The girl hates me now that she has spent time away from my controlling ass. Ahhh! I don't know what the hell I was thinking. She has obviously moved on past our little time together; now it's time I did the same.
I hated that I obsessed over her every day. I'm pissed that she has this fucking hold on me. I need to find a chick to play with, but there isn't anyone in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Chapter 42
Atlas
My body was tense and angry. I jumped into the shower, trying to relax. I needed to find a woman tonight. Someone, anyone who could help me tame my irrational mood, but that was impossible out here.
This was my pet's fault. She put me back into this fucked-up state of mind again. I thought my need for violence was under control, but my dark side was rearing its ugly head. It always did when it came to her.
Fuck her! I could ring someone's neck right now!
I threw on a pair of grey shorts, sandals, and a muscle shirt. I entered the kitchen to grab a bottle of whiskey from the variety of liquor I had sitting on a shelf above the counter. Yara was sitting at the kitchen table with her laptop open.
I wasn't interested in what she was looking at right now. I still had steam coming out of my fucking ears. She looked up, eyeing me suspiciously.
"What the hell is the matter with you?"
I poured myself a shot, frowning.
"Why the fuck do you ask?" I was cocky and short with her. She lifted her brow, giving me the stink eye.
"Well, excuse me for asking. You are pissed off about something, so spill the beans. I am the only one here right now. You can tell me. I promise I won't bite you."
She smirked, licking her lips.
"Let me retract that. I would be happy to bite you if you want me to." I shook my head, not in the mood for her little sexual innuendos. "Thanks for your concern, but it isn't anything I can't handle."
She laughed, throwing her head back.
"It has to be over that damn girl again."
I pursed my lips together, looking away, not wanting to deal with her smug smile. She clapped her hands in triumph and stood up from the chair.
"It is, isn't it?"
I shook my head, wishing she would shut the fuck up.
"Don't worry about it, Yara. It's nothing you need to bother yourself with." She came to stand in front of me, shaking her head. She looked at me, her eyebrows raised.
