Story: Titan Of My Heart

Titan

W hat the hell was I thinking?

I had no idea what came over me in that bathroom that made me blurt that stupid shit.

Dick ban? The fuck? I loved being inside Bailey, and I was more than ready to have her on top of the counter in that bathroom, and she was ready too; then my stupid brain made my mouth blurt that dumb shit out.

I could have said I was joking but I’m too damn stubborn to take shit back once I saw the look of surprise on her face.

However, she just hit me with the Uno reverse because her reaction right now was telling me I was going to be the one breaking this so-called dick ban; but one thing I will never do is admit defeat, so I will stay strong.

But from the way my erection is ready to poke a hole through my briefs right now, I knew I was going to have to work hard as hell to not break .

So, right now I focused my attention on the long ass path we were walking.

Devin asked if I wanted to take one of the side-by-side dune buggies, but I was so anxious to find Bailey that I declined and I didn’t realize how long I was walking before I realized I was at the guest house.

But now, I should have taken him up on the offer, but we were in great shape and although the weather was crisp it was still nice for a walk.

Except the walk was taking a little longer because Bailey kept tripping over the long ass pants she was wearing.

Even though they were rolled up around her waist and legs, they were still draped over her feet.

When she stumbled again for the third time, I ignored her protests for help and bent down.

“Get on baby,” I said, patting my back and I heard her laugh.

“Fine! But only because I love piggyback rides.” She giggled before she damn near put me in a chokehold as she climbed on. When I was sure she was secure, I stood to my full height, then I almost fell when I felt her tongue slowly lick the side of my neck.

“Thank you Titan for the ride,” she whispered in my ear innocently, like she wasn’t five seconds away from getting fucked in the luscious looking grass next to this paved trail.

Or maybe she did know and that’s exactly what she wanted, so I can be the first to make a move and end this hell I willingly put us in, but I will be strong.

That’s what I kept telling myself as I reached the back door of Giada’s home that led into her state of the art kitchen. When I opened the door and walked through the mudroom and hallway, my stomach growled like a ravenous beast when I smelled the scents from the kitchen.

I quickly put Bailey down and walked over to the large island that was so big it literally could have been the size of an actual island.

“Bout time y’all got here, I was about to come drag y’all asses up here,” Anthony said, getting a plate.

“Shut up the food only been ready for five minutes,” Giada said, from the banquette seat in front of the huge bay window.

I looked at her like she was crazy as she swung her legs while eating a big ass bowl of popcorn with M & M’s, Milk Duds, Hot Cheetos, and a lot of… mustard? And a root bear float.

“Stop looking at me like that. But dinners ready, eat, I cooked a little bit,” she said eating another large handful of that weird ass concoction.

“This is a little?” I said now looking at the pans of food in front of me.

There was fried chicken, yams, mac and cheese, green beans, and rolls.

In response she just shrugged like cooking enough to feed an army was no big deal.

When I saw Bailey grab a plate, I playfully swatted her hand and jerked my head toward the long dining table where her brothers were sitting. “Go sit, I’ll make your plate.”

When I was done making our plates of food, I heard Devin and his daughter coming into the kitchen.

“My Giada!” The little girl looked like a mini version of Devin and her happiness to see Giada made me smile.

When Giada picked her up, the girl lovingly rubbed a hand over her swollen stomach, and I was suddenly imagining how me and Baileys’ children would look.

I quickly turned my head away from Giada and the little girl as visions of Bailey being pregnant flooded my mind and I had to eat a piece of chicken to distract myself.

Bailey and I have had conversations about children here and there.

If I had my way, she would be pregnant right now, but Bailey wanted to wait, which was why she’s been on the pill since the first time we had sex without protection, and I respected that.

“Hey kiddo!” I heard Giada say before I heard Devin’s loud exhale.

“Baby, you can’t be eating and drinking that all the time, it’s not healthy for you or the babies.” Then I heard Giada sniff.

“Shit.” Anthony muttered under his breath. and when I looked up I saw that Giada had tears coming down her face.

“You think I’m going to be a bad mother.” She was now full-blown crying as she stood up with Zuri in her arms.

“What? That’s not at all what I said, baby, and you know that!” Devin shouted as he hurried after his sobbing fiancée.

“Now you’re saying I’m stupid!” She cried harder and quickly walked out of the kitchen with his daughter on his hip.

“You hurt her feelings, Daddy, now say sorry!” Devin’s daughter yelled over Giada’s shoulder defensively and hugged her tightly around her neck as they went up the stairs. When I heard a door slam I looked around the table confused.

“What the hell just happened? He didn’t say she was a bad mom or stupid.” I was genuinely confused and Anthony laughed.

“Giada has been very emotional the further in this pregnancy she gets. I saw her cry one day because she was out of mustard to go on her popcorn and Devin quickly went to Costco and bought her a bulk box of that shit,” he said, shaking his head.

“But fuck all that, what’s going on with you, Bailey, and what happened today?

Specifically, the shit with Angelo Davis bitch ass.

The shit they were saying about you and Titan I know is a lie because I was there after you signed him,” Dante said, abruptly changing the subject and I felt the light mood at the table slowly drain out like the air being let out of a balloon.

I felt Bailey go stiff beside me, and I reached out to squeeze her hand to reassure her.

I was here to comfort and support her. She squeezed my hand back and when she let out a deep breath, she recounted the things she told me about why she left Davis Advertising and once again, I felt myself wanting to hurt Angelo’s ass with a passion.

However, when I looked at Anthony and Dante’s faces when Bailey started crying and confessed that the reason she never told them the truth was because she was embarrassed, it made me think that whatever I wanted to do to Angelo would be mild compared to whatever they wanted to do if they got their hands on him.

I wiped Bailey’s tears with a clean napkin and wrapped my arm around her as she finished purging herself of a secret I’m sure she wanted to take to her grave.

When she was finished, her brothers stood up and walked around the table, and when they stood in front of her I noticed they had tears in their eyes.

When they held their arms open, Bailey immediately shot out of her seat and fell into the circle their arms created, and they embraced her tightly as she cried into Dante’s chest.

“I’m sorry you had to go through that, baby girl,” Anthony whispered, turning her toward him and squeezing her into his chest. “I love you so much. You’re so strong for carrying that weight on your soul.

” He bent down to kiss the top of her head.

“I’m going to kill his ass,” Anthony said, in an emotionless voice, and I believed him.

“Ooooohh can I join in when you do it!” I turned my head as Giada happily walked into the kitchen with Devin and his daughter.

Looking at her now you wouldn’t have known she just ran from the kitchen ten minutes ago crying uncontrollably.

Bailey shook her head as she chuckled looking between her brother and Giada.

“Stop joking like that. Angelo’s not worth his death being on y’all conscience.

” Bailey was wiping her eyes, so she didn’t see the quick look of surprise on Giada and Anthony’s faces.

I don’t know why they looked at each other like that, but my gut told me that they didn’t give a shit about having Angelo’s death or their conscience.
