Noviana has been haunting my dreams for the past three days.

I gave Mase my two days.

Both of which I avoided him and all of his so called advice.

But every night when I fall asleep I see her, her moonlight skin, midnight eyes, and starlight hair. The full pout of her blood red lips.

In my dreams she's always sitting on a tombstone at the edge of a cliff, staring up at the stars.

She never moves, never gazes my way.

She just sits there and watches the stars before disappearing as I woke.

I dreaded falling asleep.

Dreaded seeing her.

The sharpness of her cheekbones and her button nose. Those wide eyes and full lashes.

The light blonde hair that brushed the small of her back as she walked.

I dreaded falling asleep. My wolf side in control.

Drooling over her. Over the way her chest rose and fell as she breathed, the way she looked at the nights sky, her entire face softening.

So.

I drank.

A lot.

I drank when I retired to my house or my chambers in the palace, hoping not to see the witch when I closed my eyes.

~~

She was wearing a sheer black robe edged with feathers that clouded around her.

Otherwise she was utterly naked, her body fully visible and outlined.

Her eyes where closed as she sat on the tombstone, chin tilted up and features bathed in moonlight.

They fluttered opened as I walked closer to her, gaze shifting to me, "Alpha King?"

I froze.

Slowly she slid her feet onto the ground, walking further from the cliffs edge, "Interesting. You must have been thinking of me."

"I wasn't." I scoffed.

"You are in my scrying dreamscape." She mused, "where the universe speaks to me loudest. the only way for one to enter would be if your two souls were connected and both sides where thinking of one another as they fell into unconsciousness."

I swallowed hard.

Soul connection would be our mate bond.

"I was thinking of those beautiful eyes of yours." She murmured, "and how pleasurable your body is."

"I don't care. Why are we in a cemetery?"

"The dead beneath my feet, the life that grows from it and the spirit that dances around it.

Cemeteries are truly beautiful places."

The blonde approached me slowly, robe swaying and fluttering as she walked.

My gaze drifted over her body briefly, "And the robe."

Those full lips quirked up, "I must have fallen asleep in it. I usually sleep in the nude but the past few days I am exhausted by days end."

Her gaze traveled my form, "you are still clothed at this hour. Was it the drink?"

"What?"

"I saw you in my crystal ball tonight, before I drifted off. You were in your room drinking. It takes quite a lot to get a wolf drunk I hear. Did you succeed."

Yes. "No."

"Liar."

"What do you want Noviana?"

"Nothing Sebastian." Her feather light voice chimed, "I am not the one who entered another's scrying dreamscape. You didn't even bring a gift. Not even a majismoke."

I rolled my eyes, turning my back on her willowy form, "how do I get out of here?"

"Well..." She began, "you wake up, or accomplish one of the actions that was on your mind that brought you here to the other persons dreamscape, to me."

"There were no actions on my mind."

"Really?" She murmured, "I was thinking upon our sexual intimacy. The taste of your skin."

I grit my teeth and took a step back from her as her fingers brushed over my chest. "I haven't thought of you in such a way at all."

Her lips quirked up at the corner.

She knew I was lying.

Maybe she even knew that on more than one occasion I had woken with an aching erection and the image of her skin burned into my memory.

Still. I would deny it.

"Liar." She chimed again, "your body tells me an entirely different story, as do the stars."

I scoffed and started to walk away from her.

Her featherlight voice followed me as I walked, "I told you I would see you soon Sebastian."

I whirled on her, growing, "I am not in the mood to deal with you."

She shrugged elegantly, "then leave."

"How?!"

"I already told you-"

"Wake up or accomplish one of the actions I was thinking of when I fell asleep. How do I wake?"

"When it is time to." She mentioned off handedly.

I shook my head, "you are a lunatic."

Again, that almost smile appeared, "Interesting word choice for a werewolf. Lunatic comes from the belief that the moon could, on occasion, cause insanity."

I scowled at her, "how does that matter."

"It doesn't." She gazed back up at the sky, "you can resume storming away. I will warn you that you will only find yourself in endless cemetery." With that, she turned and started back to the tombstone on the cliffs edge, her sheer robe sliding softly over her body as she moved.

"Noviana."

She continued walking.

I sighed, "Nova."

She paused, turning to look at me, "Yes Sebastian?"

My need to get out of this space, her space, trumped my need to avoid her.

I reached her in a few strides, wrapped an arm around her tiny waist and leaned down, slanting my lips over hers.

She arched a brow, eyes reflecting the stars above, "just a kiss Alpha king? Interesting."

~~

I woke up with a gasp, cold sweat over my body.

My limbs were shaking and my room smelled like dewy grass and freshly dug dirt.

Like a cemetery.

I could still taste her lips.

Feel her skin against mine.

I threw the sheets off me and stalker to the washroom with a growl, it was a rather cold night, any water from the house well would be frigid.

Perfect.

Nothing better to rid myself of thoughts of a cold woman than even colder water.
