“Enjoy your night,” the lady behind the counter says with a bright smile. She wiggles her fingers at me and I wave back. I’m way too excited to be back here at the club. Daddy and I have come here a few times since we started dating, but now we’re living together and we have a whole lot of things to celebrate. The last time we were here, it was just the two of us and Daddy booked us a room. He kept me tied up the whole three hours, edging me over and over until I was crying and begging to come. It was amazing.

This time, we’re heading straight for Dreamland. All my friends are going to be here tonight, even Tyler. He’s going to try being Little and I hope he likes it.

“Can Daddy stop by the bar and get a drink?”

I look over at Daddy and nod. I know I have my bottle of juice in the bag so my mind isn’t even thinking about getting a drink. I walk hand-in-hand with Daddy across the floor and to the bar. There isn’t anything special going on this weekend, so there is plenty of room to sit. I choose a stool, but Daddy stands behind me, pressing his chest against my back and blocking me in with his arms. I lean back against him, tilting my head so I can kiss him.

“Well, well, if it isn’t Mister Richards and his Daddy.” I giggle when Ben uses my last name. We got to talking last time I was here. I was firmly in my adult headspace then, but made it no secret who I was there with and what my newfound interests were. Tonight, I’m already dressed in my rainbow turtle tee and shorts that hit mid-thigh. I’m also carrying Mister Giffy tonight, my giraffe stuffie. Ben’s eyes go between me and my Daddy. There’s no judgement, just taking us in. “What can I get for you?”

Daddy orders his drink and then kisses the back of my neck. He blows a raspberry after and it makes me squirm in the seat. I turn my head and glare at him, but another voice catches my attention before either of us can say anything.

“Oreo!” My nickname is yelled from what I think is halfway across the room. It was given to me by accident when Quinton got too excited and said my name wrong. It stuck ever since, but I secretly love it.

There aren’t many people here tonight, being a random Friday night. Quinton is waving, dragging his Daddy behind him. I hop off the seat and meet him halfway with a hug. Quinton and I have grown close over the last couple months. We text a lot and have hung out a few times when the others were busy, going out for a quick bite or a drink or two. He’s funny, both in and out of Little space.

Tonight, he’s wearing a button up shirt with flowers all over it, a salmon bow tie and matching colored shorts with suspenders. It fits his personality perfectly. We pull away from each other after a few seconds and meet my Daddy back at the bar. He’s sipping his drink already, something dark. Bourbon, probably. We drink wine when we’re at home together, but he does have a few different bottles he breaks out when others come over.

Once Quinton’s Daddy has a drink as well, we make our way to one of the couches. We’re waiting for the others to show up before we all go into Dreamland. Quinton and I start playing with our stuffies while our Daddies catch up.

Aussie and Remington show up next. Aussie is wearing a bright blue shirt with his nickname across the chest and two koalas hugging. Tyler is with them and I smile. He’s wearing a plain green shirt and a pair of basketball shorts. He gives a small wave as Aussie introduces everyone. I notice the bracelet on his hand, the one that means he isn’t available and also isn’t allowed to drink.

Tyler explained that he had to get a special membership for the club, one that is for those either nineteen or twenty. There has to be someone with you when you check in and that same person has to check out with you. Remington is wearing the matching bracelet. The bracelet has some type of chip in it, like a glorified Chuck-E-Cheese. He had to watch a couple of videos too. I knew the club was high on security, but it’s nice to know they take it very serious for anyone younger. He’ll only need that for a year, but it’s still a good system.

Luke and Rachel arrive ten minutes later, a friend in tow. We all stop playing when Rachel introduces Mark to the group, and to Tyler. Mark is definitely a Daddy and he talks quietly to Tyler for a minute before we all head into Dreamland.

There aren’t many in here, only two other couples, so we all stick together. Quinton and Luke head the play, starting a story where half of us are bad guys and the others are trying to rescue the captives. The captives being all our stuffies sitting up on a block tower Tyler helped me build.

“Get him!” Aussie yells. He throws a foam block at me, but I dodge it just in time. I’m pretending to be one of the bad guys, along with Tyler and Luke. Luke gets hit with a block and falls to the floor, rolling around until he’s lying starfish with his eyes closed. I hear Tyler laugh at the dramatics. He’s still a little reserved and a part of me wants to check in with him, but I know that all our Daddies and Mommy Rachel will keep him safe and check in.

My thoughts distract me and I’m suddenly being chased by Aussie and Quinton. I don’t know what happened to Tyler, but I don’t see him as I run over the padded mats toward my Daddy.

“Save me!” I yell and run right into his arms. He grunts with the force I hit his body but holds me tight. I turn around in his arms and stick my tongue out. Daddy’s arms are safe.

“No fair!” Aussie says. I see Quinton heading for the unguarded stuffies and quickly squirm out of Daddy’s hold.

“Not Mister Giffy!” I shout and head right back to where I was. I snag my giraffe, but the others were already captured. Aussie and Quinton dance around victoriously. Luke is on the floor, pointing and laughing. Aussie is doing his butt wiggle dance.

Tyler stands beside me and I hear him let out a little giggle. I nudge my shoulder against his and he gives me a soft smile. I can see the bags under his eyes, but he seems to be having fun.

We play another round, switching the teams, before we’re called over for snacks and drinks. Remington gives Aussie and Tyler their things while I crawl into Daddy’s lap and he gives me my bottle of juice. It’s apple juice tonight and super yummy. I’m close enough I can overhear Remington talking.

“Are you having fun, Tyler?” he asks.

“I am,” Tyler says. “Thank you for bringing me.”

“Of course, Ty.” I close my eyes and drop my hand when Daddy takes over holding the bottle. He’s rocking us side-to-side, making me sleepy. It’s too early to sleep, but I can’t help it. Daddy is so warm and I was playing hard.

I hear a new voice talking to the others, but I don’t open my eyes. I want to stay here, in Daddy’s lap, forever and ever. I never imagined that this is what the new year would bring for me. A whole new lifestyle, a job I love. A Daddy that puts me first for everything.

“Getting sleepy, honey?” Daddy’s breath ghosts over the side of my face. I blink my eyes open and look up at him. I’m almost done with my juice. I nod my head but don’t move otherwise. “Do you want to play for a little longer and then we can go home and watch a movie and get all the cuddles?”

“Cuddles,” I repeat. Daddy smiles and kisses my forehead. I sit up in his lap and smile, wrapping my arms around his neck. “I love you, Daddy.”

“I love you too, honey.” Daddy kisses me softly before we all get back to playing.

Tyler picks the game this time. We’re the only group left in the room now, so everyone joins in. We start out with Tag, then move to the ball pit when we all get tired of running around. We have to take turns there, but we play chicken and whoever falls first has to get out. Luke ends up winning the whole thing.

After another hour, I’m not the only one yawning. Aussie is curled up in Remi’s lap and I can see Tyler fighting leaning against Mark. He’s been playing with us too and he’s fun. I can see the two of them hitting it off, even if I’m still convinced that Brandt is secretly in love with Tyler. That’s a whole other dynamic, though, and too much to think about right now.

Rachel and Luke disappear into one of the changing rooms so Luke can use the potty. I don’t have to go yet, but I know Daddy will change me before we leave so I can use my diaper whenever.

We all settle around the coloring table to wind down. I pick a racecar and make it bright green with purple and blue stripes. Daddy tears it out of the coloring book carefully and puts it in my bag to take home.

I start on my second one when Aussie moves to lay in front of me. We’re both on our bellies with our legs kicking in the air. Tyler joins us on one side and Quinton and Luke on the other so we form a misshapen square.

“Do you like living with Daddy Garrett?” Aussie asks. His voice is low so none of our caretakers can hear us. I glance over my shoulder and smile. They’re all a couple yards away talking amongst themselves, but I see Daddy sent me a wink when he catches me looking.

“I love living with my Daddy,” I say, looking back at my friends. “He’s the best. He lets me get all messy with my paints and now that it’s warmer outside, we’re getting a sandbox for the yard. Riley and me are going to dig all day long.”

I giggle at that. Daddy says that Riley won’t be allowed to play in the sand in case he sees it as something to use the bathroom in, but I play with Riley with everything. We run around the yard, chase birds that are brave enough to land inside the fence, and watch movies together.

“Mommy got me play sand for my birthday,” Luke says happily. “We build all kinds of stuff.”

“Daddy says I’m too messy to have sand inside. Or glitter,” Aussie says with a giggle. “But I like my castles.”

I finish coloring another page while we all talk. Tyler chimes in a few times with his own hobbies. I hide another yawn and so do the others. I think someone sees that because soon after, we’re all packing up and getting ready to go home.

Daddy takes his time getting our stuff out of the locker. I don’t hesitate for a second anymore when my bladder says I have to potty. I give Daddy a smile and stand beside the changing table.

Daddy helps me onto the table and starts cleaning me up. I hope I never get used to the look he gives me in these moments. It’s when I’m at my most vulnerable, but I never see anything but love in his eyes. Most see him as a big, kind of scary guy with muscles and a bald head, but to me, he’s my Daddy who gives me kisses and cuddles and loves me.
