“You can’t be serious,” Morgan groans, pushing himself up with a pained sound.
Hmmm.He doesn’t have enough broken bones yet…
“Based on the way Cian is watching you, I would say we are deadly serious. We aren’t men that fuck around,” Corbin shrugs.
“Ugh. What are the terms for this madness? Avoidance in a city this size is ridiculous,” Morgan complains.
“Avoid all businesses run by Corbin and his people,” I order. “If you see me on the street, turn and go in the opposite direction.”
“This is going to affect my business,” Morgan growls, despite the pain that he’s in.
“I don’t think that he’s processing how close he is to being a smear on the concrete,” Hayes says, frowning. “Did you hit him hard enough?”
“It’s possible I didn’t,” I murmur, playing dumb as I offer the pipe to him.
“Nah, I’m good. Thanks, boss,” Hayes says, stalking forward.
Corbin helpfully grabs Morgan’s arms and pulls them so he’s flat on the concrete. Hayes is wearing boots with steel toes, and he happily steps up on Morgan’s body. Pretending he’s lighter than he is, he jumps up and down on the man, causing Morgan to puke a stream of liquor up into the air as he screams.
His groin, stomach, chest, none of it exempt from the constant barrage of Hayes’ jumping. Morgan is his own personal trampoline now. Beating the shit out of him was fun for me, but for Hayes? He’s made it into an artform.
Hopping to the ground, he surveys the mess he’s reduced the alpha into that’s currently on our shit list. I’m guessing Morgan has several broken bones. Ribs are a bitch to heal. I should know.
Pulling out his dick, Hayes gazes down in disgust at Morgan as he proceeds to piss all over him, making sure to get some in his mouth. Corbin’s shiny shoes hold Morgan down as he stands on his hands, though Hayes is polite enough to keep any of his stream from spraying on him.
“Let this serve as a reminder of what happens when you decide not to heed the very generous advice Corbin and my boss just gave you,” Hayes says, shaking off his cock before he puts it back into his pants.
The zipper seems extra loud in the hush of the alley, and I can’t stop smiling. Tonight is turning out to be a fantastic night.
“You’re a mess,” Corbin grunts, moving off Morgan’s squashed fingers. “Best get home to clean up.”
The three of us head back inside, not at all worried about getting shot. If he’d planned on using the gun I felt several times while I punched him, he would have.
“Can you get Caelin to look into him?” I ask, taking my time walking back onto the main area.
“Yep,” Hayes murmurs. “I’m going to wash my hands. Give me a second.”
Corbin pushes open his office door for me to wait and I follow him inside. Pushing it closed, he purses his lips at me.
“Feel better?” he asks.
“I kind of do,” I grin.
“Good,” he sighs. “I think on some level, he knew he deserved that ass kicking.”
I hope it follows Morgan around like a bad smell. I don’t want to lay eyes on him again. At least, that’s what I tell myself.
Chapter
Three
Three months later
CIAN
“Dad, are you feeling alright?”Aisling asks, chewing on her bottom lip.
Things have been…chaotic the last few months. My daughter managed to sway a very large portion of the mafia families, and she now has the heat spa “fully staffed” with alphas and packs to ensure that omegas who go to the spa are taken care of.
