My orgasm is there; right fucking there. I’m losing my mind, burning in the rapturous ache, my body desperate for the release only he can give me.
The last vestiges of reason in my mind are screaming at me in warning, but I can’t hear it over the drugging effect Dominic has on me.
I nod, the movement choppy, before the words tumble out of my mouth and seal my fate. “Please, Dom, please… take me. Keep me. I’m yours,” the last word fractures on a moan, as he gives me what I’m aching for.
“Good girl.”
He praises me for my surrender, his fingers rubbing with concentrated purpose, until my body breaks like a tidal wave across a scorched, desert shore. I shatter, and the euphoria that slams into me is unlike anything I’ve ever felt before.
“That’s it,” he groans. “Come for me, just like that. You’re so fucking good.”
I ride the waves of white hot pleasure until my body is a shaking mess, collapsing against him. He holds me there effortlessly, his hand releasing his hold on me to stroke the sticky strands of water and sweat slicked hair from my forehead.
He lifts his fingers to his own lips, and I shiver as I watch them slide into his mouth, brushing across his tongue. A low, broken groan escapes him at the taste of me, and I watch as his pupils blow wide again—swallowing the green until there’s nothing left but black.
He’s like an addict getting the first hit of his new favourite drug.
I’m dazed, drowning in the aftermath of the most intense and life-altering orgasm of my life.
His scent and his heat surround me, soothing me through the lingering bliss that still has me shaking like a leaf. His arms wrap around me, hands stroking up and down my back as he places kisses from my shoulder to my throat.
Once I stop trembling, he presses a kiss to my lips, then steps aside to shift me until I’m standing under the spray of water.
I feel boneless and enslaved as he takes soap from the dispenser. I’m mesmerized as he lathers up his hands, then begins massaging his fingers into my sore, tired muscles.
When his clean hand slips between my thighs to rinse away my arousal, I can’t help but moan quietly. He’s so gentle it makes my heart ache.
Thoroughly cleaned, with my fingertips wrinkled from staying in the shower too long, I stand there while Dominic rinses the suds from his own hands and arms.
When he’s finished, his hand cradles the side of my face, tilting my head up until our lips meet. Sparks dance every place our skin connects, and I melt against him as he kisses me so deeply it makes my knees weak all over again.
When he lets me go, I’m breathless. He holds my gaze, his eyes dark. “I won’t be far.”
I nod, still feeling like I’m drifting through a dream, my body warm from the intensity of the orgasm he gave me.
He takes a step back, running a hand through his soaked hair, before he exits the stall and disappears from my sight.
I lean back against the shower wall, my heart still racing. I close my eyes for a moment, letting the warmth surround me, trying to anchor myself after what just happened between us… but all I feel is him.
His touch. His mouth. His obsession wrapping around me like a chain, tethering me to him.
I feel marked by him, body and soul, and something tells me that this was a claiming that can never be undone.
CHAPTER 15
Dominic
She’smine.
The thought ricochets through my skull like gunfire, obliterating everything else in its path. I didn’t leave her last night after I made her come all over my fingers, and I’m sure as hell not leaving her now.
Ghost met with me a few minutes ago while Wren is inside, eating the last free meal she will ever need to scavenge for.
He brought me exactly what I need to make sure she comes home with me tonight, whether she wants to or not. I’m hoping I don’t have to use it, but I will if it comes to that.
I’ve got a fight tomorrow night at Blood Siphon, and unless Wren is in the building, protected by my brothers while I’m in the cage, it’s not happening. That’s how I knew it was time to take our relationship to the next level.
I’d been planning it all morning as I followed her around the city. The last few days, she’s been stopping outside of the shelter every night to look for me and send me a text message. Tonight, I’ll lure her out into the alleyway and ask her to come home with me.
