“Are you okay?” he whispered against her skin, concern lacing his voice.

Reiya nodded, her eyes fluttering open, and she looked up at him with need. “Don’t stop,” she breathed out, her fingers gripping his shoulders tightly. She didn’t want this to end, wanting him fully inside her. He looked into her eyes, seeing the hunger there, and began to thrust slowly, filling her completely.

She felt his hot tongue on that place between her neck and shoulder, that spot she never knew could be so sensitive. His hands on her breasts ignited sensations that she never knew were possible. They matched the storm raging within her own body. It felt so good, so right. There was no doubt they were meant for each other.

They moved together, his body sliding against hers in a passionate dance. Their bodies became one, lost in the heat of the moment. The bed squeaked underneath them as Lee thrust into Reiya’s welcoming heat, his hips slapping against hers. Her nails dug into his shoulders, leaving behind red streaks as she met his hips.

Her breath quickened and became ragged, her chest heaving with each pant as she felt herself getting closer to the edge. She could feel Lee’s muscles tense beneath her fingers, his skin glistening with sweat in the dim light. He sucked hard against her neck, searing it with his hot embers, and the pleasure set her over the edge. She screamed out his name as he pumped into her frantically. His hips now slammed into her as she felt the pleasure washing over her in waves.

With one final thrust, Lee collapsed onto her, his body shaking with the force of his release. Reiya felt the warmth of his seed fill her, and it sent a new wave of pleasure coursing through her body. She held him close, her heart pounding in her chest as they lay there, gasping for breath, their bodies still joined together.

Slowly, they disentangled themselves, and Lee pulled back to look into Reiya’s eyes. Her face was flushed, her lips swollen from their kisses, and her eyes gleamed with newfound passion. A new energy was forming between them … the connection of mates.

“Are you okay?” he whispered, brushing her damp hair from the sides of her face.

She smiled and leaned into him. “Mm-hmm.” She couldn’t wait until she was able to also mark him. She wanted to claim him even more now that she had her wolf. Raising herself onto her elbow, she leaned toward Lee’s neck, gently licking it, and she smiled as she felt him shudder. “When we don’t have to hide our relationship, I will claim you as mine. And …” He let out a low sound at the mention of her marking him, completely on board with that idea. She looked into his eyes. “Is it okay to ask you to be the fairy king? Can it work like that, since you have to watch over the dragons?

Lee blinked at her for a moment. He hadn’t thought about it. Being with her would mean being the fairy king, provided he accepted it. He smiled at her and pulled her back into him. “Yes,baby. I will stay by your side during your reign as your fairy king.”

“Then, the day I mark you, I will accept you as the fairy prince.” Reiya smiled and hugged him closer. Everything felt so perfect. She could feel her connection to him. A new power was growing between them. She would have made him the fairy prince now if it wasn’t for how it would affect his powers. The deities would surely recognize the fairy power bestowed upon him.

She felt another connection forming inside of her and recognized it immediately.

Lee, we can mindlink now?!

He chuckled. “Are you surprised about that? I mean, we could always communicate before, but yes, this is a bit different.”

“Well, yeah, I mean, I didn’t have this connection before and wasn’t sure if we would, since I didn’t after you marked me.”

“No baby, we just needed to complete the bond first.” Lee leaned his head into the nape of her neck, planting gentle kisses on her sensitive skin and watching her squirm under the sparks he was igniting. Now that her animal was out, everything was intensified. Now that they were mated, it was only going to improve.

“I love you, Lee,” Reiya purred under his kisses. “I hope I didn’t make things even more difficult for you.”

Lee chuckled. “One part of the beast gets tamed down while another gets more feral. I’ll manage it.”

“I don’t know how you did it before.” Reiya turned her head and looked at him. “I didn’t even make it an hour.”

Lee let out a dark chuckle and sighed. “It wasn’t easy … at all. The only thing that kept me in control was you. Thinking about you and what was best for you. I love you, Reiya. My love for you was the strength that I leaned on.”

He rose up on his hands, hovering over her, a smile spreading over his face. “Now ...” he said, in a low, husky voice. “Now that we took the edge off, let’s try this again. I promise it will be even better than the first time.” This time … this time he was going to take his time with her.

Reiya couldn’t imagine anything better. That was pretty good already. He lowered his lips onto hers, purging her with his heat. She wrapped her arms around his neck and welcomed his passionate demands.

The two stayed in their room together for the rest of the night. And to Reiya’s surprise, with every passionate encounter, it only got better.

Chapter 77 The Connection

After a blissful night of very little sleep, it was afternoon before Reiya began to stir. She let out a soft yawn and turned her head, seeing Lee smiling at her. She was wrapped in his arms, cradled in a warm cocoon.

“Good morning.” Reiya smiled as she settled on her side to gaze at him.

Lee chuckled. “Good afternoon.” He watched Reiya’s eyes widen.

“It’s the afternoon? You probably needed to leave hours ago!” Reiya bit her bottom lip, feeling a bit guilty.

“Not today. Today, I’m staying with you. Selene said you were going to get answers today, so I’m not leaving you for a second. Not that I want to leave you anyway. If anything, after last night, I’m way more possessive over you.” Lee let out a deep, throaty sound and inhaled her scent. Her scent had changed after last night. It was now mimicking his, which was something he wasn’t anticipating. If someone got close enough to her, they would recognize his scent on her. “You smell like me now, Reiya.”

“Well, no wonder, after last night.” Reiya giggled but stopped, seeing his serious face.
