One person?

The Murong Family crowd stood on the snowy mountain, straining their eyes to look over.

They had a clear view of the situation on Beihai City’s side. The terrifying waves that had been stirred up, were those not caused by thousands of Giant Serpents?

Hadn’t it been said that Jiangnan brought over a thousand people this time? Why was there only one person?

On the icy surface, a tall man dressed in black, faced the sky-high blood waves without even blinking. Disappointment flashed in his eyes.

Boom!

All saw the man take a massive step forward, the ice beneath his feet remained unscathed, but beyond the ice, waves stacked tens of feet high, one upon another, with a tremendous momentum, instantly overshadowing the blood waves ahead!

A red and a blue wave clashed, creating a spectacular scene. The group from the Murong Family watching atop the snowy mountain was flabbergasted!

They saw clearly that the man had not invoked any Technique!!

Such colossal waves...they were a natural consequence of his mere foot stomp...

They couldn’t fathom what kind of force would be needed to stir up waves tens of feet high, yet not break the ice surface, leaving the ice underfoot without a single crack.

The surrounding seawater, however, could form such massive waves under a tremendous force.

How terrifyingly powerful was his control?

Who...is this person?

Boom!

The two waves collided, and the blood waves were instantly dispersed by the sea waves.

Countless Giant Serpents revealed their true forms within the blue waves.

Facing a human who could create such a natural force with a light stomp, these immense serpents suddenly felt a sense of awe, and instead of rushing forward like a tidal wave, they coiled together, watching this man amidst the waves.

The massive waves flooded into Beihai City, once again inundating half of the entire city!

"Hmm, looks like these beasts still have some brains.

.." The man grinned, and the black fabric of his clothing emitted a strange glow.

Then, following his body, black scales appeared.

A tremendous pressure, countless times more terrifying than the towering waves before, emanated from him, causing the numerous Giant Serpents to retreat in hisses of terror as if they had seen something dreadfully horrifying!

This scene once again left the Murong Family on the snowy mountain dumbstruck.

What kind of monster is this?

To avoid being caught in the battlefield, their position on the snowy mountain was at least ten thousand feet away from Beihai City, yet at such a distance, they could fully feel that terrifying and intense aura.

It was as if it were a fire capable of burning through the world, a hurricane that could uproot cities, forcing them to hold their breath, for fear of drawing the attention of that dreadful entity.

And this was the first time they saw such a show of fear from the Giant Serpents.

But of course...faced with such a terrifying monster, even the most brainless beasts must know fear, right?

However, the ability to make ten thousand Giant Serpents flee with just his aura was a feat that belonged in the legends of deities...

But suddenly, an unexpected change occurred!

The ground rolled over with the panicked escape of countless serpents, revealing an unimaginably huge gaping maw that swallowed thousands of Giant Serpents in one bite!!

A head emerged from the ground, nearly filling the entire port of Beihai City. Those on the snowy mountain, who had forgotten to breathe, gasped for air in shock as they watched the sudden appearance of the enormous creature.

They had heard of it. When Beihai was besieged, they had heard of a terrifying Giant Serpent, enormous as a city, with eyes that could compete with the sun and moon!

It was the legendary Mother Earth!!

"Oh?"

Seeing such a massive creature emerge, the man in black finally showed some interest, smiling as he took a step forward, seemingly taking a closer look at the beast that had suddenly appeared.

"It’s really big. Is this the creature for which the Duke of Wei fought so desperately?"

The Duke of Wei transformed into ice to help a billion Northern People migrate south.

He respected the tale when he heard it, but he also knew that if not for that sky-concealing Giant Serpent, which exhausted the Duke of Wei’s last bit of strength, the Duke, who had almost become a True Dragon, would not have perished like that.

"Good, I’ll have the chance to see for myself, what components go into something that forced the Duke of Wei into such a heroic death!"

Mother Earth seemed to have sensed the man’s fighting spirit.

It let out a terrifying roar that shook heaven and earth.

The Giant Serpents that had already fled, upon seeing their kin swallowed with a single gulp, dared not retreat from battle anymore.

Instead, turning around with savage hisses, they once again wrapped up the waves and charged toward the man clad in black scales.

Thousands of giant pythons, swarming across the sky in an overwhelming sight, yet the man never once turned to look at them, staring only at Mother Earth. The approaching horde of serpents seemed as insignificant as flies, not worthy of even a glance.

People of the Murong Family held their breath, eyes wide open and not daring to blink. In such a scene, no one would want to miss a single moment.

Hum!

A dragon’s roar surged to the heavens, not as miserable as the hissing of those giant pythons, but with a majesty, a solemnity like a deep bell tolling, as if declaring something. Yet it drowned out all the sounds of the pythons, and then the man moved...

Nobody could see clearly how the man got in front of Mother Earth. It seemed as though they hadn’t blinked, yet it felt like time had skipped, and the man was naturally standing there in front of Mother Earth.

Behind him, the giant pythons that had just swept across the sky had turned into a sky full of flesh and blood without anyone noticing when it happened. Countless chunks of flesh fell from the sky, and the blood rain once again stained the entire coast of Beihai red!

Mother Earth’s snake eyes widened in disbelief at the human who had already arrived in front of her!

With scales flared, Mother Earth let out a fierce hiss. Its rigid body activated in an instant, filled with regret for not having stimulated its bloodline before arriving. The opponent in front of her was terrifying beyond belief, likely not to give her a second chance.

But she was wrong. The man stood quietly in front of her, watching her activate her bloodlines, showing no intention of attacking first. His gaze was ferocious, like prey eyeing a beast, but with restraint...

What does this guy mean?

"Better be quick..." the man said with a smirk, showing his stark white teeth, "I can’t hold on much longer!!"

Half a year ago, upon returning to Jiangnan, he had only taken three days to recover from his injuries thanks to his incredible physical strength. After that, it was a long, boring wait.

He adapted to his body every day, yet no one could give him a real fight.

The only ones who could spar with him were Ao Zhen... or perhaps Tian Heng might also do, but Zi Yue expressly forbade the two from fighting. The reason was simple – Jiangnan... couldn’t withstand the two of them clashing!

"Are you ready?"

Weichi Feihong’s eyes blazed, trembling from restraining his body’s responses, even his speaking voice carried an extreme thirst!

Mother Earth was stunned...

What incredibly wild eyes were those?

It was as if a beast, starved for millennia, was awaiting a lavish feast!

And the feast itself... was evidently her...

How arrogant?

The creature that had lurked underground for countless years, when had it ever suffered such insult?

A rage that could not be suppressed surged within. The python could no longer hold back its wild nature and pounced straight towards the human!

The massive form burst into motion as if a True Dragon were turning over, turning the whole of Beihai upside down.

But this terrifying display was worthless before a certain someone...

The arm coated with dragon scales effortlessly stopped that momentum dead in its tracks, not even stepping back one bit...

Mother Earth felt as though it had slammed into the eternal ice of the North Pole, with not even a crack appearing...

"How can this be?"

A deep voice slowly rose amidst the rumbling ruins, clearly not belonging to Mother Earth, but Weichi Feihong’s.

That voice, it resembled the sound of a parched beast that had not quenched its thirst.

"Such weak strength, and it’s what made the Duke of Wei exert himself to the limit?" Weichi Feihong looked up at the huge eyes: "Not fully awake? I’ll give you a quarter of an hour more!!"

Mother Earth: "!!!"

Since its birth, it had been at the top of the hierarchy of beings, but a sentiment it had never experienced before was spreading rapidly within it...
