I went to Gabriel, running my hands through his thick, long hair. “You still hungry, bigguy?”

The apple fell from his fingers to the floor. I heard Dante chuckle behindme.

Gabriel stood up, gave me a quick kiss. “We’ll be back when Alex isready.”

Then he and Dante left the room, closing the door behind them. Alex still seemed absorbed in hisbook.

I understood. Alex was shy, and even though he’d participated when Dante took me, he wanted to bealone.

The fact that Gabriel clearly desired me, and yet was willing to have Alex be next, and give him all the time he needed, spoke much about the relationship theyshared.

Sounselfish.

Even though I was the one sexually inexperienced, it didn’t feel like that with Alex. I knew I had to tread lightly and not scare himoff.

Alex took my hand and led me over to the window. Resting his hands on my shoulders, he leaned against me. I felt the strength of his erection against mybackside.

“I’m glad you’re here with me, Alex,” Imurmured.

“I as well.” Alex lifted my hair and pressed a singularly sweet kiss on my nape. I shivered withpleasure.

He ran his fingers through my hair, then lifted it, kissing the nape of myneck.

A thrill cascaded down my spine. This was Alex, a sensitive soul who trusted few, and now was making love withme.

He rubbed against me and then stopped. I turned. “Is everything allright?”

Light brown, troubled eyes met mine. “Are you all right with this, Peyton? With us? With…me?”

I sensed I must tread carefully. I framed his face with my hands and kissed him as answer. Groaning, he kissed me back, his tongue sweeping into mymouth.

“Do you like that?” he whispered when we parted. “What ofthis?”

Alex kissed myjaw.

Inodded.

"Or this?" His lips nibbled a path along my jawline then up back to my mouth. He sampled my lips again, his tongue probing, inviting me to taste him back. When I did, Alex thrust deeper into mymouth.

Hot lava red swirled around him. I read auras, I knew he was more thanready.

I led him over to the bed, clasped hispenis.

Though I had little experience, I licked it, the taste of chocolate and wine in my mouth. Alex threw back his head and moaned as I flicked my tongue over thetip.

Then he removed his glasses, folded them neatly on the table next to thebed.

Unsmiling, he pushed me back onto the mattress. I delighted in this primitive side of him, the shifter who desired me and couldn’t wait to takeme.

Alex moved over me, murmuring phrases in French. They sounded like poetry. Delighted, I slid my arms around him, pulling himcloser.

Trapping my legs under one of his, Alex cupped my breast and teased the nipple, stroking slowly with his thumb. He had long, elegant fingers like Dante’s, but a few wicked scars marked the back of hishands.

An almost unbearable tingling spread from over my entirebody.

“Alex, please, fuckme.”

“In a moment, Cherie,” he murmured. “Bepatient.”
