Story: Sven (Glendale Magic #4)
21
Sven
S ven had just finished his meeting with his lawyer. While there was still no word on Stacie’s whereabouts, he was going to order some dinner, and he wanted to see if Natalie was hungry.
He made his way over to the intercom and pushed the button for the pool house.
“Natalie.”
He waited and heard nothing, then tried again but still nothing, then remembered it hadn’t been working correctly.
Drizzling rain beaded on his bare chest. He knocked on the door and waited. She must still be out with Sydney , he thought before sliding the door open and entering. He made his way to the box on the wall and pulled the instructions on his phone to reset it to connect it back to the house’s system.
That is when rustling came from Natalie’s bedroom. She is here . He froze, then pushed a few buttons before deciding he would just do this later.
“Sven,” she whimpered.
He stopped in his tracks.
She was in her bed, moaning his name. His heart stammered in his chest. Did she want him just as badly as he wanted her? That thought had his cock stirring in his pants.
What should he do? Should he go to her? No. Definitely not. But, damn, he wanted to.
The bed rustled again as another throaty moan came from her.
He had to get out of here. He made his way to the door but tripped over her shoes and stumbled.
“Hello?” she croaked.
Quickly, he knocked on the door and slipped it open like he had just come in. “Natalie, I was just stopping by to fix the intercom and to see if you were hungry.”
She came out of her bedroom, clutching a robe around her. Sven couldn’t help but look at the flush that was still covering her cheeks and chest and her cleavage peeking through the robe. He made his way over to the intercom and pushed a few buttons like he had any idea what he was doing.
“What?” she asked before her mouth cracked open in a yawn.
Sven was holding himself together by a thread. He had been attracted to her since their first meeting but this... this was too much.
“Are you hungry? I’m ordering Thai.”
“Oh, from the place next to the arena?”
He nodded.
“Yeah, can I have some Pad Thai, heat level four?”
“Yeah, I’ll call you when it’s here,” he said before sneaking out.
What the fuck just happened?
***
Later that night, Sven tried the intercom to tell Natalie the food was here. But of course, it didn’t work because he hadn’t fixed anything after walking in and hearing Natalie’s sexy little moans.
Sven: Food here
Natalie: On my way
Even after masturbating in the shower, Sven had been a mess. He needed to get her out of his head. She was his nanny. It couldn’t happen.
When Natalie came in, she was wearing sexy skintight leggings and a low scoop net striped tank top with a cardigan. Her hair was curled, and her makeup was done.
“You look incredible,” he said before he had any time to think about what he was saying.
She did look incredible, but she was a knockout when her hair was in a messy bun, when she was in a hoodie just hanging out playing with Winnie.
“Oh, thank you,” she said quietly, tucking her hair behind her ear. “I’m going out with Alice soon.”
She walked by to get her food off the counter. Damn, she even smelled incredible.
“What are you guys up to tonight?”
“We are doing an escape room,” she said as she brought her food over to the table to join him.
“Just the two of you?”
“No, it’s for Taylor’s birthday. So, I think she said her and Taylor obviously and then Cash and Evie.”
Sven nodded.
That made sense. That sounded like something Taylor would like, and Cash was his best friend on the team.
“Oh, and Murphy,” she continued as she squeezed the lime over her Pad Thai.
Sven brows slammed down. “Murphy?”
Natalie nodded and took a bite.
“Are you fucking kidding me?”
She looked at him in shock.
“Excuse me. I don’t know who you think you are talking to me like that?”
“I told you not to date players.”
“First of all, it’s not a date. Second of all, I don’t think you have any say in who I date.”
“It’s not a date. It’s just two couples and then you and Murphy. That is a fucking date.”
“Alice is the one who invited me, not Murphy.”
“Alice is trying to set you up with him.”
“You’re being ridiculous,” she said, gaping at him.
“I’m being ridiculous...” He shook his head. “You’re being naive.”
She huffed at him with a glare he’d not seen before. He didn’t even feel bad. She was not going on a date with Murphy.
Then she pushed back her chair and picked up her food.
“Where are you going?”
“I’m going to eat in the pool house. The company is better there.”
“What time is your date?”
She shook her head, turned on her heel, and marched out of the room.
This was not happening. He was going to put a stop to it.
