Page 158 of Sin With Me
"You look goooorgeous!" Amelia gushes.
"Stunnin'!" Harlow beams.
"I'd marry you," Mallory says.
"Very beautiful," Mom adds, and I can already see the tears welling in the corner of her eyes.
"Your tits are huge," Mattie blurts. "Maybe tuck them in."
"Where? They've grown two sizes already."
Mattie moves her hands around my chest. "I dunno, maybe push them into your armpits or somethin'."
Amelia snorts. "I don't think Wilder will complain."
No truer words have ever been spoken.
Ever since we found out I was pregnant, he hasn't been able to keep his hands off me. Not that I've minded, especially when I hit twelve weeks, and my hormones went into overdrive.
We spend the next two hours messing with my hair and makeup before Reagan, my photographer, tells me it's almost time for the first look. She's been in the apartment all morning taking pictures of us and then going down to Waylon’s apartment where Wilder and the other groomsmen are getting ready.
A part of me is sad Jonah isn't here. After he was charged with kidnapping, he got sentenced to two years in prison. He made one hell of a deal and agreed to testify against Wesley.
His trial is at the end of the summer, but until then, he's behind bars since he couldn't afford bail.
I'm not mad about what happened anymore. I'd rather preserve all my energy for my pregnancy and get things ready for the babies' arrival than stay angry. They're getting what they deserve, and even if Jonah did it to save his sister, he did put my life at risk.
But still, Raven and I visit Jonah once a month and will continue to while he's locked up. This way he still gets to see his niece even if he can't hold her. For now, we're working on rebuilding our friendship.
Everyone stays in the house as Reagan leads me outside toward the trees next to the ranch hand quarters. Wilder's already there, waiting for me, but facing the opposite direction.
"Okay, I'm ready when you are..." She smiles, nodding at me to walk ahead.
"Hey, hubby. Whaddya think about marryin' your wife today?" I tap him on the shoulder, then step back so he can turn around and see me.
When he does, his eyes light up and his entire face splits in two.
"Holy hell...Delly!" His jaw's still on the ground when he reaches for me and pulls me to him. "You look...breathtakin'. Truly gorgeous."
"You don't look too bad yourself, cowboy." I slide my palm down his black tie that's concealed behind a vest and white button-up shirt.
Then I blush at his Stetson black hat.
My favorite.
"That hat is makin' me feral," I admit, groaning at how badly I want him right now.
"Save it for tonight, darlin'." He winks.
"I will."
"Good, because I've got some very dirty plans in store for you."
"Is that so, Mr. Hollis?"
"Hey, guys? You're supposed to look in love, not about to rip off each other's clothes," Reagan interrupts. "Not that I'm not enjoyin' this Rated R version, but your parents are gonna see these photos."
We burst out laughing because I forgot she was here.
