“What do you think?” Cameron asked, as if seeking an honest answer.
“You’re incredibly hot,” Anthony said after swallowing. “Do you um… Do you mind flexing?”
Cameron chuckled and curled one of his arms. “I didn’t realize that you’re so into muscle.”
“Isn’t every gay guy?”
Cameron shook his head. “Like I said, I prefer skinny. Your turn.”
“But you haven’t finished yet!”
“You want me to take italloff? While you sit there watching?”
Anthony shrugged. “Why not? Your jeans look uncomfortably tight.”
“So do yours,” Cameron said, nodding at his crotch.
Anthony spread his legs, so he could see better. “Then you better hurry.”
Cameron kept staring while working on his jeans. Anthony was curious to see what kind of underwear he wore, since he’d given the matter plenty of thought. If he was a betting man, he’d put all his money on boxers. Flannel most likely, at this time of year.
Cameron’s jeans crumpled into a pile around his ankles. Sure enough, he wore red flannel boxers with green vertical stripes. Anthony was about to make a joke about how festive they were until he noticed the way they pointed at the ceiling.
“I guess that doesn’t leave much to the imagination,” Cameron said while looking down at himself. “So here goes.”
The boxers joined his jeans on the floor, not that Anthony’s eyes made it that far down. They stopped about halfway.
“Uh, Cameron?” he said.
“Yeah?”
“That’swaybigger than a corn dog,” Anthony said, referring to a previous conversation.
Cameron laughed. “I doubt Charles has any in the freezer so we could compare. Although… How good is your memory? Think you’d be able to tell the difference?”
He was sauntering toward Anthony, who caught on and said, “Let’s find out,” before opening his mouth.
And it was wonderful, and overwhelming, and more complicated than he expected, because so much could go wrong, but they went slow enough that it didn’t matter and laughed through the little mistakes. Soon they found their rhythm, Cameron’s gentle moans assuring Anthony that he was doing just fine.
“Whoa,” his boyfriend said after this had gone on for long enough. “Better stop there for now.” Cameron plopped down on the couch next to him and put a hand on Anthony’s back. “Your turn,” he said as he pushed.
“Me?”
“I don’t see anyone else here,” Cameron said with a chuckle.
Anthony got to his feet, walked to where his boyfriend had stripped off his clothes, and turned around. “I can’t,” he said. “Not like you did.”
“What’s wrong?”
Anthony shrugged, his face burning. “I don’t know.”
He was certain Cameron would get angry with him. He would have every right to be pissed, considering that he’d just put on a show and now Anthony was refusing to do the same. Which was stupid, because they’d probably get into an argument over this that would ruin the entire night. Rather than let that happen, he averted his gaze and began yanking his arms out of the thermal shirt he wore.
“Wait,” Cameron said.
He stood and walked over to place a hand on Anthony’s cheek, his eyes full of understanding before he leaned in for a kiss. Cameron’s hand moved from his cheek down to the shirt. He stayed close as he pulled it off, which helped Anthony feel more secure, since he wasn’t being ogled. Cameron simply tossed the shirt aside without comment before kissing him again. Then, in the same manner, he took off Anthony’s undershirt and let it drop.
“You’re beautiful,” Cameron breathed.
