“You eat too?” Aidan asked, changing the subject and burying the things way down. He could pull them out and look at them later. Much later.

“Yeah, dude. You don’t gotta worry about me. Heated something up from the meal service.” Levi was still sending that twinkly-eyed look in his direction, and it was making Aidan feel unhinged.

Like go all caveman-style kind of unhinged.

Maybe Levi would even enjoy that. There was a part of Aidan that thought he might even enjoy it, if the tables were turned.

Aidan took another big drink of his shake. “Thanks for this, by the way.” He gestured towards the cup. “You didn’t have to.”

“Of course I didn’t, but I wanted to.” He paused. “Maybe I thought making your shake might butter you up. Might make you more likely to agree.”

“What, to agree to fuck you?” Aidan’s jaw dropped. “You thought I’d need buttering up for that?” The concept that Levi wasn’t sure he’d go wild for it, wild for it like he was already doing even though they hadn’t even started yet, was difficult to comprehend.

Levi just shrugged, like it was no big deal.

But it was a big deal to Aidan, and he wasn’t going to let that stand. Maybe he was shitty at expressing himself, but he could do this, at least.

“Listen,” Aidan said, “you don’t have to butter me up or bribe me or any of that shit.

I want to. I really want to. I don’t want you to think you’re pushing me into any of this.

” Truthfully, it felt like most days he was holding back from everything he suddenly craved.

Or was it sudden after all? Aidan wasn’t sure.

Levi shot him a knowing look. “It was a joke, bro. I know. You’re into . . .this.”

There was enough of a hesitation that Aidan thought he might have been about to say you’re into me, instead of you’re into this.

Just into the gay sex, generally, instead of being into Levi, specifically.

Before, two months ago, Aidan would’ve said he was right. He’d wanted to experiment, safely. He’d wanted to know what he was doing, before it really mattered.

But there was no way he could stand here now and say it didn’t matter at all, with Levi.

It mattered, a lot.

Way more than he’d ever expected it might.

Aidan swallowed the rest of his shake. Turned to the sink to rinse it out, so he didn’t have to look at Levi when he said it.

“I am,” he said quietly. He should add on, I’m into you, too. But the words stuck in his throat. Reminding him, a little painfully, of the moment he’d told Mo how he felt.

The shock and then the sympathy on his face as he’d gently let Aidan down. I just don’t think of you like that, he’d said.

Levi liked Aidan’s body. Liked sex with him, sure. But maybe he didn’t think of Aidan that way, either.

The one thing Aidan was sure about was that he couldn’t say it again and have it turn out the same way.

“Now that I know the truth—that you’re easy for me—see if I ever make you another protein shake again,” Levi teased. Like he knew Aidan needed to be tugged back out of his head, again. More than that—like he knew and he didn’t even mind.

“Bro,” Aidan drawled, and Levi cackled in delight before moving in closer, nudging one thigh against Aidan’s.

It was so easy to lean in the rest of the way and kiss the laugh right off his mouth.

Levi’s body was so hot and big and there—so strong he could manhandle Aidan anyway he wanted, but this time, he let Aidan press him into the counter. Aidan groaned in the back of his throat as he pressed them together. Feeling Levi’s cock, hard and ready, against him.

He felt lightheaded with desire, like he could barely take a breath.

“Come on,” Levi said in a low, rough voice. “Bedroom.”

Aidan expected Levi to drag them to his bedroom, where they’d slept together the night before, Levi’s phone charging cord in hopefully semi-permanent residence on his side, but Levi didn’t.

He took them to the guest bedroom instead, Aidan falling on the mattress, Levi crawling over him, their mouths barely breaking apart, even for a moment.

“God,” Levi groaned. “Want you so bad.” He pulled Aidan’s T-shirt off, hand trailing down his chest. “Want every bit of you.”

Aidan almost told him You can have it, but before he could work up the nerve, the words were gone, lost in the sensation of Levi’s palm pressing against his hard cock.

Digging his fingernails into the meat of Levi’s shoulders, his head fell back against the bed.

Levi hummed, looking and sounding smug and satisfied. “I’m gonna ride you into oblivion,” he told him.

Aidan choked on his breath.

“Is there anything—” he tried to ask but Levi just cut him off.

“You want to?”

Of fucking course he wanted to. He wasn’t just a pretty face and a convenient dick.

Levi was big, but Aidan was strong, too.

It took effort but, squeezing his thighs around Levi’s hips, he got them flipped. “Yeah,” he said, and this time it was him who sounded smug.

Smiling, Levi gazed up at him. “There’s . . .uh . . .lube in the drawer. If you want to—if you—”

“If you ask if I know how, I’m gonna smack you,” Aidan grumbled under his breath. Yeah, he was a rookie at this, but he wasn’t stupid. He could fucking google. He had a right hand and an incognito browser, same as everyone else.

Crawling over Levi, he found the lube, but no condoms.

“We were both tested, when we got to camp,” Levi explained, when Aidan lifted an eyebrow. “I’m not sleeping with anyone else. Are you?”

It was impossible not to laugh. There’d been a time he wouldn’t have been able to. “Please tell me you’re joking,” Aidan said.

A smile broke over Levi’s face. He’d said, completely subconsciously, that Landry was the most attractive of his brothers, but there was no denying that Levi turned Aidan’s head, all the time now. So hard and so earnestly, it felt like he could barely look away.

And when he was smiling up at Aidan like that? Like Aidan was both the most ridiculous person he knew and also like he couldn’t quite believe he was lucky enough to be here, in Aidan’s condo, in Aidan’s bed, Aidan hovering over him? He was fucking breathtaking.

“Maybe, a little,” Levi admitted, gasping out at the end of his sentence as Aidan tugged his shorts down.

Aidan shot him a pointed look as Levi spread his bare legs open, inviting Aidan inside.

“Kind of desperate, huh?” Aidan wondered as he opened up the lube. “To be freeballing it in the kitchen, making me a protein shake?”

“You say it like it’s a bad thing.” Levi let out another sharp gasp as Aidan brushed his hole with the pad of his thumb, spreading the wetness around.

“And,” Levi added, “maybe I am, a little. Desperate, that is.”

He wasn’t the only one.

Aidan felt like he was going out of his mind not just with want, but with need. He needed to be inside Levi, yesterday.

Maybe he’d never done this before, but he knew what he’d like, and he went with that.

Slow and deliberate, no matter how much Levi tried to beg and plead for him to go faster.

One finger, then two, and then when Levi was writhing on three, he leaned over him, Levi panting into his mouth as they kissed and asked, “Are you good?”

Aidan realized he was panting, too, his cock aching with how desperately hard he was.

Levi nodded. “Like yesterday, bro.”

Aidan was so out of his mind with it he didn’t even tease Levi about the bro. In fact, it felt just right for him to say it, intimate and knowing like that. Like he couldn’t be referring to anyone else but Aidan.

“Okay.” Aidan breathed in and out. Suddenly nervous, even though he shouldn’t be. He’d had sex before. This was not that different from other sex he’d had. But deep down, it felt incredibly different.

And when he finally pushed in, still trying to be slow and careful, no matter how Levi’s heels nudged at his back, trying to urge him to go faster, it did feel different.

So tight and so hot, yes, but so much more than the physical.

Levi let out a long drawn-out groan when he bottomed out. “Fuck, that’s so good.” He batted his eyelashes at Aidan. “Fill me up so good, baby.”

Aidan huffed out a breath. Furiously trying to hold on to his control, even though it was slippery and it felt like he couldn’t get a grip on it. “Yeah?”

“Oh yeah.” Levi winked at him, and Aidan couldn’t help the laugh he choked out.

He’d never imagined laughing during sex before, but with Levi it felt natural.

Easy. Like for the first time in his life, he wasn’t pretending to be someone he wasn’t.

Occupying a persona the rest of the world had created for him.

Tucking Levi’s knee against his chest, he began to thrust, still carefully at first. But the pleasure was fraying at the reminders to be gentle, and Levi was certainly begging him enough to go harder, faster.

It hit him suddenly: he didn’t have to be careful.

Levi could take it. He wanted to take it.

When Aidan gave a hard thrust for the first time, Levi’s head flopped back against the mattress and he let out a sound that Aidan would be hearing every time he jerked off, from now until the day he died.

“There, there,” Levi pled, and Aidan did what he did best: physically perform.

Hips moving like pistons, Levi squirming on his dick. Maybe it shouldn’t have been so good, but it was. Life-changing, really.

There was a point where Aidan thought he might’ve blacked right out, the sheer feeling of rightness pushing out everything but the pleasure and the man underneath him.

“Come here,” Levi breathed out, voice fucked out and rough, and Aidan leaned over, kissing him. Feeling the precome-slick head of Levi’s cock rub against his abs, and a second later, everything tightened around him as Levi groaned out his orgasm right into Aidan’s mouth.

Aidan couldn’t hold on a moment after that, Levi’s body clenching around him, and he followed after, everything in stark black and then white, like a spotlight had just flashed bright in his head.

“Fucking hell,” Levi said as Aidan carefully pulled out and then collapsed on the bed next to him.

He didn’t know what the standard behavior was, not after sex like that, but he wasn’t moving.

Levi turned to him, fingers twitching against his sweat-damp chest. Stroking his skin. Like it was normal. Like it was allowed. And maybe it was.

“Good?” he asked after a long moment of silence. Aidan just trying to catch his breath; trying to remember what he’d been like half an hour ago, before they’d ever done that.

“I feel like my brain just melted out my ears,” Aidan admitted. Apparently his caution had gone the same way, evaporating in the white-hot supernova of the best sex he’d ever had.

“Yeah,” Levi agreed, smiling. He didn’t look patronizing or like he was just going along with whatever Aidan said. “That was . . .” He sighed, happy and satisfied. I did that, Aidan thought.

Normally, Aidan might not have asked, but he wanted to know. “That was?” he wondered.

Levi nudged him. Knowing twist to his lips. “Fucking unreal, you know it was. You were there, bro.”

“And you were trying to bribe me into it, with a protein shake.”

Levi gave a groan. “You ever gonna let me live that down?”

“You ever gonna stop calling me bro?” Aidan was beginning to really understand why people let their lives and careers get burned down by really good sex.

If someone said he had to give this feeling up, like he’d just been filled with helium and set free, just floating above the bed, he’d fight them.

“Nope,” Levi said unapologetically.

And Aidan smiled. “Exactly.”
