Jasper has texted a few times since yesterday, asking if I’ve heard from Belinda.

I stuck to the story about her mentioning shopping, but he informed me she wouldn’t do that without her phone, purse, and keys.

I know she mentioned ditching the phone, so I just assumed she ditched everything else, too.

It wasn’t until a detective called this morning, informing me that this was now a missing person’s case.

My mind has been so wrecked today that I’m barely functioning.

Is this all a part of her plan? I know she said she would call me, but if she doesn’t let me know something soon, I’m leaving and taking my ass to the city to find her.

I’m trying to keep my mind busy so I don’t ruin whatever plan she has going on.

I swear I’m going to rip her ass when she does call me.

My phone beeps, and I snatch it up, hoping it's a text from her.

I see the typing dots, but they disappear, and nothing else comes through. I pull back up the thread with Bee.

Just as I start to type a reply and cuss her ass out for playing games, another text comes through, causing my phone to slip from my hands, hitting the floor.
