Page 13 of One Night

Chapter seven

Calli

I pick up my phone and snap a picture, sending it to my best friend, Koah.

That fucker let me get drunk last week and talked me into matching outfits.

He is wearing the men’s prisoner outfit, and his boyfriend, Daven, is wearing the police officer costume.

I made the mistake of admitting that I’d love to see Koah and Daven fuck.

So tonight is the night we surprise Daven.

I’m hoping this plan works, but I’m trying not to get my hopes up in case.

Koah:

Damn, u look sexy asf

I bet u say that 2 all the girls

Koah:

Only the hot 1s

Ur such a flirt

U better be sure about this

Koah:

Want me to prove I am

How?

Koah:

Hold, plz

What is he up to now? He better not be up to no good. Knowing his ass, he probably is, and I’m about to regret it. While I wait on him, I make sure I grab everything I need and pack it all in my spend the night bag. Just as I zip up my bag, my phone beeps, alerting me of a text.

Koah:

Told u

Ugh, this fucker is always plotting, even if it’s in the best ways.

Koah:

I’ll be there in ten, boo

See u then, Snookie

Ten minutes later, we are in the car and headed over to Daven’s for the annual Halloween party he throws every year.

We spend the next fifteen minutes jamming out to our favorite songs on full blast. I’ve been best friends with Koah since kindergarten.

I was the first person he told about his bisexuality, as well as the person he lost his virginity to at the freshman formal.

He's my better half, and I’d be lost without him.

When he started dating Daven, I thought our bond wouldn’t be as strong, but he always makes time for me.

He never leaves me out, no matter what they have going on.

I started spending more time with them both over the past six months, and Koah was the one who called it when we got drunk one night and I admitted how hot Daven was.

Koah has never let me forget it and has been working on his fantasy of a threesome between us since.

I didn’t really agree with it at first, but now I want to do it.

“Are you sure about this, Koah? Once we cross that line, there is no going back,” I say, looking over at him while he drives.

“Oh, I’m absolutely sure. Admit it, you know two boyfriends are better than one,” he says as he looks over and smiles at me.

“I don’t even have one, let alone two,” I smirk.

“Yes, you do. Why do you think nobody ever asks you out?” He smirks.

The fuck does that mean?

“Koah, what the fuck are you talking about?” I ask, curious to know the answer.

“What do you mean? I've been telling everyone for years that we were a couple.”

“Oh, well, if that’s the case,” I let my words hang in the open.

“You know there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you,” Koah tells me.

My heart swells at his admission. I just wish I believed him.

I’m worried that by doing this, it will all end so badly in the end.

I don’t really know how to get out of my head long enough to just go with the flow of things.

We pull onto the street, and I flip the visor down to check my makeup one last time. Finally, we pull in and head inside.

Walking in, the music is blaring, and there are people standing around everywhere.

Koah grabs my hand and pulls me further into the house.

I glance around as he drags me through the crowds and notice guys, girls, and groups of people dancing, kissing, and just having a great time.

It’s always great to know that at Daven’s house parties, there’s no judgment and everyone is free to be themselves.

We reach the kitchen, and Koah instantly starts filling up cups for us, while I look around the crowd again before I lock eyes with a familiar pair of ocean blues.

I watch as he makes his way through the crowd towards us.

He takes me in from head to toe, and I swear I see a smirk on his face.

He reaches us just as Koah hands me a cup.

Taking the cup, I bring it to my lips, taking a drink while I watch Koah lean over and kiss Daven.

They both kiss each other like it’s their last day on earth, and I can’t help but crave that too.

They break apart, and I can’t keep the smile off my face, so I hide it behind my cup.

“Calli,” Daven says. That’s his usual way of greeting me, and I swear it sends a shiver down my spine each time.

“Daven,” I respond.

“And I’m Koah.” He rolls his eyes, but I just laugh.

This has been a constant greeting for us all, and I swear, Koah is over us. We spend the next few hours drinking, dancing, and hanging out before Koah leans over and whispers in my ear, “Ready?” I just nod a response as the alcohol works its way deeper into my system, taking over my thoughts.
