Kaz

MILES’S HEAD was in his lap, and he was running his fingers through his unruly hair as they enjoyed the early evening breeze in the backyard of the clubhouse.

No one was around, so they had the whole place to themselves, and they had taken full advantage.

The only place they hadn’t fucked was outside and only because it was too cold to be naked, and he wanted Miles naked when they fucked.

He needed to see that gorgeous body and that flush of color spreading up his chest and neck whenever he complimented him.

He’d thoroughly enjoyed every second of the past week with Miles.

It was probably the best week of his life.

Miles made him feel free in a way he’d only experienced when riding his bike.

Just the thought of Miles having to leave soon made his chest feel unbearably tight.

He finally had Miles’s full attention. He didn’t want to lose it.

He wouldn’t know what the hell to do with himself.

Especially if this was it between them. It was almost crazy how much he wanted this to continue.

How much he wanted to keep Miles at his side.

He felt a sense of loss when Miles sat up, his hand falling from Miles’s head.

He ran his gaze over Miles’s face, taking in the mix of browns and golds of his eyes, and those lips he was pretty sure he’d dream about forever.

His hair was a mess, and he felt a smile pull at his lips from the knowledge that it was his doing.

“My dads are picking me up soon,” Miles said, the reluctance in his voice making something flutter in Kaz’s stomach.

“Back to college, then?”

Miles nodded, then frowned and shook his head. “I’ve got two days with my family and friends, and then I’m going back.”

“How is it? College?”

He’d likely never know himself.

Miles ran his gaze over Kaz, a naughty smile spreading on his lips, and then he was crawling into Kaz’s lap, arms wrapping around the back of Kaz’s neck.

“Not nearly as fun as being here with you.”

Kaz grinned, hands sliding up Miles’s jean-clad thighs.

“I doubt much is.”

“I…” Miles cleared his throat and shook his head, an almost shy look on his face. “Wha―What do we do? What are we doing?”

His throat closed up, and all he could do was stare at Miles for a long moment, taking in those amber eyes looking down at him with a mix of hope and apprehension he felt right into his soul.

“I don’t know. ”

It was the truth. He’d never… he’d never felt like this before. He wasn’t even sure he wanted to feel this way. What had he done to deserve Miles looking at him like he was someone important to him? Someone worthy of all that Miles was?

“I don’t know,” he repeated and pressed a kiss to Miles’s jaw, then trailed more down the side of his neck. His breath stuttered at Miles’s low moan.

“But I’m not done with you,” he whispered against Miles’s flushed skin. “I’m not anywhere near done.”

He moved back to stare into those golden eyes, his pulse jumping at the need he saw there. It wasn’t just sexual. It was… more . It scared the shit out of him and yet he couldn’t stay away. He couldn’t give Miles up. Couldn’t let him go.

The rumble of motorcycles had him groaning and dropping his head back against the couch. Miles sighed and shifted out of Kaz’s lap.

He stood. Reluctantly. He’d wanted it to last forever. For time to stop. He rarely got what he wanted.

Miles started to shrug out of his jacket, but Kaz stopped him, pulling it back up with a wry smile on his lips.

“Keep it. It’s too small for me, and I like it on you.”

“You sure?” Miles asked, licking his lips as he ran his gaze over Kaz’s face.

“Oh, I’m sure.” He slipped his fingers into the belt loops on Miles’s jeans and tugged him closer. “I’ll be taking you on plenty of rides.”

Miles wrapped his arms around Kaz’s neck, a wry smile on his lips as he leaned against him. He tilted his head to the side, a slight purr to his voice as he said, “Will you?”

Kaz ran his hands up under the jacket, finding the small of Miles’s back and digging his fingers into Miles’s heated skin and soaking up the man’s gasp.

“Any kind of ride you want, Baby,” he promised, his voice husky with the insatiable need he felt for Miles.

Miles smiled and fuck if it didn’t make his heart speed up. That smile lit up Miles’s whole face, and somehow it made him that much hotter in Kaz’s opinion.

The sound of voices drawing near had them moving away from each other, Kaz dropping back onto the couch while Miles took off toward the clubhouse, likely to go grab his bag.

Miles stopped by the patio doors and looked over his shoulder at Kaz. His lips quirked up at one corner, a promise in those amber eyes he couldn’t wait to cash in on.

He was a fool. A fool for Miles Holland, and he couldn’t find a single shit to give about it.
