His body shudders above me, the tension in his muscles visible as he reaches his climax. His eyes are tightly closed, his face a mask of ecstasy.

I lift my head slightly to look at him. “Logan?”

He chuckles. “That intense, huh?”

Logan snorts and grins. Damn, he’s irresistible when he smiles. “Are you laughing at me?”

He raises an eyebrow.

“You’d be surprised. I haven’t slept with anyone in a long time either.”

Now it’s my turn to arch a brow.

“You don’t believe me?”

“No. I don’t. How long do you consider a long time? Two weeks?”

“Six months.”

“Six months?” I exclaim, eyes widening. “You haven’t had sex in half a year?”

He tilts his head. “If you think I should be ashamed or something, I’m not.”

“No, no, I didn’t mean it like that. It’s just…you’re you. Women must be all over you, and it’s pretty clear you’re not asexual, and you’re also pretty good in bed.”

“‘Pretty good’?”

“Okay, really good.” I don’t want to inflate his ego, but hell, he’s a sex god. He deserves some ego-stroking.

“I don’t sleep with women just because they throw themselves at me. I sleep with them if they interest me, and that hasn’t happened in a long time.”

My smile widens, and my heart swells. At this rate, I’ll need a larger bra size. “So, I interest you?”

“I think I made that clear from the start. You interest me a great deal. But that doesn’t change the fact that this is just about sex.” His tone carries a note of warning.
