Page 3 of Knot Enough
THREE
The little monster made me lose control.
Seconds . I was seconds from blowing my load down her throat.
If I wasn’t careful, she’d ensnare me. It grated on my nerves that in minutes, she had affected me, turning my intentions on their heels.
Slowly, I eased on the brakes. My head jerked to the side as the incessant need to fuck shit up called to me.
Not fucking now.
I drummed harder on the wheel as I waited for the motion detector on the black gate to sense the vehicle.
Eventually, it opened, and I pushed on the gas.
Pulling on my lip ring, I couldn’t stop thinking about the way her throat felt as she choked on my cock.
She had every right to be scared. The way her chin trembled when I told her I’d break her was the icing on the cake.
The guys would lose it once they realized I’d found her.
My body buzzed with excitement at the memory of her pleas.
I wanted to hear her screams while I took her.
Fucking her hadn’t been part of the plan, but plans changed.
Now, I wanted to look into her eyes as I fucked her. I’d use her to wet my dick.
Trees passed in a blur as I headed up the driveway.
I’ve dreamed of this moment every day for the last two months.
Tracking her down hadn’t been easy. As soon as I had her in sight, I stalked her.
Miss Popular was always surrounded by people; getting her alone was difficult.
She had to have company or be riding someone’s cock, and after what I’d seen, I knew exactly what kind of woman she was.
She was only appeased when she was bent in half or knotted.
Driving around the fountain, I parked right in front of the stairwell that led up to the front door. Two statues framed the entrance–a lion and a snake.
After hopping out, I wrenched the door open to find the little omega laid out like a lamb for the slaughter.
My brow furrowed as my gaze trailed down her body.
The ugliest shoe I’d ever seen was on her foot, and the other bare.
Turning, she exposed her slim neck. Her pulse fluttered at the base, mimicking the throb in my pants.
I readjusted myself as the image of the collar around her throat made my mouth water.
Oak’s broken cries filled my ears, ripping the tear-stained cheeks and cum away. We hadn’t marked Kim, but I felt her loss regardless.
The need for revenge kept me up at night.
Finally, sixty-two fucking days later, I’d done it.
I reached over and grabbed the bitch. Throwing her over my shoulder, I closed the door and walked around the car.
As I headed up the stairs, the massive three-story mansion came into view.
We chose this place because it was isolated.
We had intended to raise a family, but that had gone up in smoke. Her ghost haunted us still.
The omega bitch had taken everything from us.
And I was going to return the favor.
My gaze locked on a figure leaning against the wall when I reached the top.
His brown hair was the complete opposite of how I left it this morning–brushed back neatly, and he’d changed into a crisp suit.
Perfectly put together, you wouldn’t know my marks littered his body.
I’ve known the Beta since we were kids. Oak’s calculating hazel eyes tried to read me.
Noting my excitement, his brow arched before landing on the woman.
His eyes flashed with worry, and then he pushed off the building.
“What did you do?” Oak asked as I brushed past him.
I pushed the door open, walking past the sitting room and down the hall.
The sound of his shoes clacked against the freshly mopped floors as he followed.
Natural light poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
I didn’t stop until I was at the door that would lead me down to where we’d house our little monster.
Turning the knob, I pushed it open. She whimpered as we made our descent into darkness.
“Are you not going to tell me who this is?” Oak called from behind me. He was irritated, but I liked him riled up. His anger thrummed through our bond, so I continued without so much as a glance over my shoulder.
When we reached the bottom, we walked down the stone hall before I kicked the cell door open.
The sound of her heart beating erratically was music to my ears.
I threw her, and she grunted when her body connected with the cold, hard floor.
Oak cursed behind me, and I didn't need to see him to know he flinched. He had a soft spot for the weaker sex.
In a few minutes, he wouldn’t care. I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he realizes I found her. He flipped the switch, and a dim light filled the space just outside the cell. There isn’t a single window down here, and there are loops for chains scattered through the space.
“Please, don’t leave me,” she whispered. “I’m afraid of the dark.” Her body trembled, and I almost believed her. I ran my hand through my hair as Oak stomped up to me before he dug his finger into my chest.
“I need answers, Alpha,” he huffed angrily. I turned from the bitch and faced him.
“I bought you a present, Oak,” I hummed before walking out of the cell. I grabbed the chain I’ve had in mind since she stepped out of her car and dragged it behind me. Her disgusting scent soured further.
As I stopped by her side, I wrapped the collar around her neck until it clicked.
The excess chain dropped. I took a knee and hooked it to the loop in the ground.
The little monster was right where I wanted her.
Straightening, I yanked the bag off. My Beta’s eyes widened as they locked on her face, and his mouth dropped open.
“No,” he whispered as he took a step back. “How?”
“I found her. I would have brought her sooner, but she was never alone. . . until today.”
“What are we supposed to do with her?” Oak asked.
“Anything we want,” I murmured. His eyes darkened as he stared down at her. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and shook his head. As if shaking the depraved thoughts from his mind. He wants revenge. I know he does.
“We can’t do this,” Oak murmured. Kind hazel eyes stared back at me.
“We can. That night still haunts you. I’ve held you while you’ve begged the Gods. They didn’t hear your prayers, but I did,” I seethed.
He flinched. It was a sore subject, one he still hadn’t opened up about with the pack. Oak had been with Lennox, the previous leader of our pack, and Kim, our omega, when they died. He’d been useless against the Alpha’s command. With Lennox gone, he’d been forced to watch them kill her.
“There is a right way of doing things. This. . . this isn’t that,” he whispered.
“I refuse to wait on a system that isn’t going to do its job,” I rasped.
“You work for that system! It’s your job to uphold the law. What you’re doing right now… it breaches every oath you’ve sworn. I don’t want you to do something you can’t reverse,” Oak pleaded.
“I haven’t been the same since they died. They took Lennox. This bitch. You haven’t seen what I have. Look me in the eye, Beta, and tell me you don't want to make her hurt like they made us hurt,” I growled.
She sobbed as the door banged open. The sound of rushed footsteps echoed down the hall.
I knew who it was before he came into view.
Recognized his emotions and scent instantly.
Releasing her, I turned as his large frame pushed through the doorway.
Chestnut hair, a strong Roman nose, and stern brown eyes glared at me.
Our Alpha looked like a gladiator, but I knew he was King.
His gaze darted to Oak, then to the woman on her knees.
“Why don’t I know what the fuck is going on here?” Kane growled.
Turning from him, I stared down at the whore.
Her hair is up in a messy bun with strands stuck to her face.
An unmistakable handprint formed on her swollen cheek.
She was a siren calling me beneath the surface with the promise of death.
Her small Omega body screamed for our attention.
My instincts demanded I take care of her and obey her every whim, instead of keeping her chained here.
Facing Kane, the only bit of light highlighting his features, and with one look, I knew: He feels the same.
