Chapter 59
Kinsley
Coming Home
The ride back tothe house was quiet. We didn’t need to be afraid anymore. I didn’t have to leave. An overwhelming sense of contentment washed over me. Leaving out any portions that involved the girls, I filled the guys in on what my grandfather said about the Mask and anyone associated with him.
My grandfather was behind the second kidnapping, and while he should be shot for his carelessness, his intent wasn’t to hurt me. The Mask was dead and would never hurt another girl, ever. The relief that one sentiment held crashed over me in waves.
“What are you thinking, little love?” Ivan asked, studying my face.
“Now that I don’t have to hide anymore or leave, do you still want me to stay?” I asked, suddenly unsure of myself.
My nervous eyes met Alek’s, and a sinful smile crept over his handsome face. Nik pulled my arms out to the sides.
“When did you get this, baby girl?” He pulled on the sleeve of my hoodie.
I looked down and groaned. Dying of embarrassment took on a whole new level at that moment. It was one of the items I had impulsively added to the list for Marcus to pick up. It was a large pink hoodie with the words “I want cuddles and to suck Daddy’s cock” written on it.
“Alek, you let me wear this and didn’t say anything? Oh god, your poor parents,” I muttered, pulling the hood up and closing the drawstrings to hide. “Marcus picked it up for me. I asked him to, along with a few other things.”
The entire car erupted in laughter.
“Kitten, you’re killing me. Truthfully, I was preoccupied and didn’t notice it until after. Now, back to your silly question. You aren’t going anywhere, ever. But I think you owe us an explanation on why you broke the rules and left the safe room.”
“That’s easy. I could never live with myself if your father was harmed because of me. You know, I’m not a helpless child. I’ve got mad skills. I’ve killed a man. Now I just need a tattoo, and I can join the Death Squad.” I frowned as they laughed at my suggestion.
“That’s not going to happen,” Alek stated.
“But why?”
“For starters, there aren’t any job openings for little girls on the team, and it’ll be a cold day in hell before we let you mar that beautiful skin,” Nikolai said.
“As long as you understand there are consequences for disobeying,” Alek growled in my ear, making me shake, then licked my neck. “I think you should thank Sebastian for covering you as he did. And then you can explain to us the outfit you currently have on underneath those clothes. Did Marcus pick that up for you too?” He continued, before trailing kisses across my cheek. He couldn’t keep his hands to himself, and I was living for it.
“Brothers, when I tell you sexy is not enough to describe how our little warrior looks, I mean that literally,” he added, trailing his hands under my hoodie. My nipples hardened immediately. He chuckled as I blushed, trying to stifle the moan that wanted to escape. I took a deep breath.
“Thank you, Sebastian, for covering me. Alek, I can’t think when you do that, and yes, he did. I…uh…see…I um…I was going to…and…yeah…but now…” I stammered as I tried to explain myself.
“What were you planning?” Ivan asked firmly.
“I promise you it wasn’t anything bad. I was going to organize a weekend to remember. I wanted to get some new lingerie and surprise you. My plan was to talk to Bash as soon as you got back. I wanted to maybe visit the club after hours while no one was there.”
“Really, the club?” Nik asked.
“Yes, so that whenever you were there, you would think about me. I didn’t want you to forget me so quickly.”
“Such a naughty kitten. So you were planning on seducing us? Is that it?” Alek whispered.
“I was.”
“And now you can, over and over and over again,” Nik said, tracing the letters on the front of the hoodie and smirking.
“I’m glad to hear that. This feels reunionishy to me.”
“It feels what?” Alek laughed.
“Like a reunion, kind of like when you guys came home from Seattle a few weeks ago. Except now my beast is here. We should celebrate.”
