Page 102 of Kingly Bitten
However, I was no longer Doctor Calina.
I existed for this moment alone, to experience oblivion with this royal vampire and let him demonstrate what it meant to be a king.
He thrust forward, filling me without warning and drawing a scream from my throat. Because I wasn’t ready. I hadn’t realized… I didn’tknow… I… I’d neverexperienced…
The lycan flashed in my mind, that solitary exposure nowhere near enough to prepare me forthis.
Jace obliterated my senses, his power a hot claim to my spirit that I hadn’t anticipated.
And he didn’t give me time to understand it.
He just kissed me and started to move, the agony of his claim shredding me apart from within, making my limbs tense and my soul cry out for him to stop.
Only it soon shifted into… into… a passionate inferno. One that consumed me from head to toe and sent me spiraling into a world of the unknown.
I moaned. Screamed. Clawed at his shoulders. And lifted my hips to meet his.
I no longer knew who I was, just that I had to match him in every way. To fight him to completion. To consummate this act as a partner, not some meek participant.
He growled and I growled back at him.
His teeth sank into my lower lip. I responded in kind, some foreign animal within me driving me to battle him.
No, not battle, butmatchhim.
He was stronger. Faster. Older. More experienced. And none of that scared me. I showed him that with my tongue, my teeth, and my nails against his back.
His palm grabbed my throat, squeezing intently as his opposite hand went to my hip.
But I couldn’t stop myself from continuing this dangerous dance between our bodies.
It felt right. Freeing. Intensely intimate.
“Little enchantress,” he breathed, his tongue licking his bottom lip where I’d drawn blood. “Fuck, Calina. I’ve never experienced anyone like you.”
Those words sounded pained, as though it hurt him to admit that out loud.
And then he was kissing me again, his hips slamming mine into submission as he tightened his grip even more, cutting off my ability to breathe.
I dug my nails into his nape, not because I wanted him to stop, but because I needed more.
He’d coaxed my soul out to play, and now I was a slave to her animalistic need.
His hand left my hip and slid between us, his thumb unerringly finding my sensitive nub. My lips parted on a scream I couldn’t release, the air gone from my lungs.
And somehow that only strengthened the moment, drawing out my pleasure until I couldn’t see.
“Come, Calina,” Jace demanded against my ear, my world a vision of black clouds and impossibilities.
Yet I felt my body tumble under his command, my limbs straining as I plummeted headfirst into an oblivion of the unknown.
I was dizzy.
Dying.
Unable to breathe.
While shaking and silently crying out for more.
