Although I have meetings all afternoon, a little before noon Jordan and I take time to head upstairs, check on Leo, and eat lunch with him. He’s still pretty loopy from pain meds but I take it as a good sign he’s actually using them so he can be comfortable instead of trying to tough things out.

Later that evening, Leo’s already asleep when Jordan and I hit the shower. While the new toys have arrived I’m honestly too tired to play with them. Instead, I let the boy ride the veiny dildo while blowing me. This time he doesn’t come first, so he’s left horny and unfulfilled andveryattentively obedient in the aftermath.

Sure I could be a nice guy and let him keep trying but I also know Jordanneedsme to be a bit of a bastard. He doesn’t want the rules bent—he wants me to stick to my guns.

Wednesday morning, Leo wants to work from the living room sofa, meaning I want Jordan to remain upstairs with him.

Leo’s not as out of it this morning because he’s cut back on his pain meds and he tries to overrule me. “You need him downstairs.”

“No, actually I don’t. I’m not going anywhere today.”

Thankfully. Because when it rains, it pours.

No, seriously, it is. Literally. It’s absolutely fricking storming in DC today. I’m so glad I don’t have to go anywhere in this wet, cold slop.

Jordan quietly stands there listening and not daring to offer his opinion. I’m certain Leo doesn’t realize Jordan’s Sir has been carefully packed away in a storage closet for now. We’re both fully dressed. It’s unlikely Leo spotted the chastity cage because last night I let Jordan wear sweats due to the chill in the air and Leo was sound asleep by the time Jordan stripped for bed.

I haven’t had an opportunity to break the news to Leo regarding our new world order because he’s either been asleep or high as fuck on pain meds.

“One of my staff can stay up here with me,” Leo argues. “People will be coming and going all morning anyway.”

Jordan and I both give him “the look.” “For work, yes,” I say. “You and I both know damned well for help in the bathroom you’ll need me or Jordan because you don’t have a nurse. Want me to have the White House physician’s office send one up?”

“No,” he quickly says, nearly pouting. I knew that’d be his answer because he treasures our privacy as much as I do. “I don’t need a nurse to help me go to the fricking bathroom. I can wipe my own ass, thank you.”

“You slip and injure your knee again, you’ll need more surgery.”

Leo finally recognizes I’m not backing down. “Okay,fine. Jordan can check on me. But he doesn’t need to spend all day up here. That’ll look weird and might draw suspicion. He can work downstairs and I promise I’ll text or call if I need him.”

Those are valid points and a solid plan. “Deal.Thankyou. Was that so friggin’ hard?” I wag a finger at him. “No, you don’t get to pull the Master card on me over this.” I turn to Jordan. “Get him situated and then join me downstairs.”

“Yes, Mister President.” Jordan’s hint of a smile lets me know that wasn’t just him being deferential.

That was him acknowledging our secret.

Leo grumbles as I lean in and kiss him before heading downstairs. While I have back-to-back meetings with policy wonks over the next two days, Jordan doesn’t need to sit in on every single minute of them. In fact, various staffers, especially Casey-Marie and Declan, will frequently dip in and out to ask me questions or provide updates regarding various situations.

Following my PDB Jordan joins us for the morning staff meeting and I wonder if the sour expression he’s wearing has anything to do with Leo.

“Issues with Mr. Cruz?” I finally ask him as staffers file out.

He shakes his head. “No. My day just went to utter shit.” Logistics for a charity event I’m appearing at in two weeks have been completely scrapped and are in the process of being reconfigured due to the Secret Service’s security concerns. “You might not see a lot of me today, Mister President,” he says, mindful of the staffers still within earshot out in the hall. “I’ll be back and forth to the Secret Service office and conferring with Lyman’s team.” Special Agent Stephen Lyman is the head of my detail, dubbed The Shift.

Now I feel guilty Jordan will also need to run over to the residence for Leo. “Look, why don’t I move my stuff next door for today so I can work from there and take care of Leo?”

“It’s under control, sir,” he insists, and that’s not him trying to pull rank, either. “It’ll all be straightened out in a couple of hours. And your meetings should happen down here.” He glances around and drops his voice. “Although the First Spouse wishes to have a privatechatwith you at your earliest convenience.”

I snort because I spot the twinkle in Jordan’s eyes, meaning Leo’s already bounced off my new rules. “Is he pissed?”

Jordan gives me a little shrug as his lips slightly quirk. “I told him POTUS gave me orders and he’ll have to discuss the specifics with you, Mister President.”

Okay, that time he deliberately pushed my button, because his tone makes my cock twitch and I fight the urge to reach down and adjust myself. “Perfect.”
