Chapter Fifteen
Snipe
“Put the couch over there facing the fireplace.” As if they were inside my head, they placed it exactly how I wanted it. “Yeah, thanks.” This was by far one of the largest sectional couches I’d ever seen.
Sikes was upstairs helping the kids set up their rooms, Jason was working on ours and Dana was in hers while I supervised the downstairs furniture placement. Thankfully we’d bought half the damn store, so our overall purchase included assembly as well. Hell, in my eyes that was the least they could do given the thousands we’d spent.
While the workers put the tables together I laid out the rugs Dana had picked out and ordered online then mounted the TV above the fireplace. The upstairs loft that separated their bedrooms from ours would serve as the game room for the kids and be where the TV that Gabe’s beloved gaming system was hooked up to would reside. The TV downstairs was for family movie nights or for those of us who didn’t care to stare at whatever game he was obsessed with. Dana mentioned limiting his playtime and involving him in more family time. It’d be interesting to see how that panned out.
“Oh. My. God. Wyatt!” Nicole’s scream echoed through the house. I took the stairs two at a time as I ran up to see why.
“What’s wrong?” I glanced around. No blood. No bodies lying around. “What happened?”
“Hayden, look at my princess bed! Isn’t it to die for?”
Where did she learn these things? “It’s, um, very pink?” Sikes had gone all out on this one. It had a matching canopy and princess sheets and comforter. I’d not seen this much pink since I’d battled and lost to Pepto and painted the barracks a putrid pink.
“Come on, let’s go check on your brothers.” She skipped out of the room, following Sikes into Nolan’s very blue and green room. He couldn’t pick a favorite, so we gave him both.
“Nolan, I love all the animals.” Nicole walked around the room, pointing each species out. They were simple decals that had been applied to the walls like the giant princess crown on Wyatt’s princess’s bedroom wall. “Do you like it?”
“I love it!” Nolan bounced on the bed. “Thank you, Mr. Wyatt and Mr. Sniper.”
“You’re welcome, silly boy.” I snagged him off the bed mid jump and swung him through the air. “Now you’re an airplane in your zoo room.”
Nolan giggled. “It’s not a zoo.”
“It’s not?” Looked like one to me.
“Well, I guess it kinda is. What did Gabe get?”
These two had been so busy messing about in their rooms they hadn’t seen Gabe’s.
“Let’s go find out.” I zoomed him out of the room, flying through the air and into his brother’s room.
“That’s so cool!” Nolan pointed to the vintage Nintendo controller on his wall. Gabe’s room was a series of video game decals.
“Yeah, it is.” Gabe was busy loading his clothes into his new dresser. Likely the one and only time he wouldn’t complain about putting his laundry away.
“Glad you like it,” Sikes said.
“Yeah, thanks.” A preteen of few words.
“Let’s go see Mom’s room, Mr. Sniper.”
“Lead the way, little man.” He broke into a silly penguin march, so we followed behind him doing the same.
“To what do I owe the March of the Penguins?” Dana smiled wide. “You’ve seen that movie a million times, Nolan.”
“I know ‘cause it’s the best!” He hopped up on Dana’s freshly made bed. “Your room is ginormous. Like the size of our old apartment.”
“It is. We’ve all been spoiled by your brother and these wonderful men.”
According to Jason, Dana had the same mattress since he was born. She was more than due the new one we bought that hopefully would include a great night’s sleep for her.
“I know I sound like a broken record, but I just can’t believe this is really our life.”
“Get used to it, Mom,” Jason laid a big noisy kiss on her cheek. “’Cause we’re gonna spoil you rotten.”
“You already are. All of us. I saw the kids’ rooms and they’re every kid’s dream. I only wish I’d have been able to give you all of that growing up.”
“None of that, Mom. You gave me all I needed. We’ve all got it now and we’re all together and that’s all that matters.”
“That was a lot of alls, Jase.” I loved the levity in Dana now. Long gone was the worried mother of three, taking the weight of the world and her family upon her overworked shoulders.
“Yup, for all of us.” Jason winked.
“Oh yeah, I forgot,” Sikes smiled. “We have one more surprise. Everyone, follow me.”
Down the stairs we went. How the kids had missed this I’d never know. The damn thing was huge. Sikes whipped open the sliding door. “Ta-da!”
More squeals came from Nicole and Nolan just as they had when they’d first seen their bedrooms. They ran right outside and onto the jungle gym with Gabe behind them.
“You men have truly outdone yourselves.” Dana gave us each a hug. “It’s wonderful that they now have a safe outdoor space.” And a safer area to live in, though I kept that comment to myself.
“Yes, and there’s a lock on the gate.” Sikes was all about safety, as was I. “Cameras front and back. There isn’t a portion of the outside of the house we can’t see at any given time.”
The app had been loaded on all our phones. Anytime the alarm we’d each chosen chimed all we had to do was pull up the app and see what was going on. Fizzbo could review the notifications if need be but unless we or the alarm company alerted him of an issue he had no reason to pry.
While the kids played outside, Gabe included, the adults prepared dinner. It’d be an early night for us given the long day we had. Full bellies and tired bodies told me the little ones would be down for the count shortly after we ate. It was nice sitting down to a family dinner at the same table with everyone for the first time.
Family.
Thought I was better off without one until I had one of my own.
“I am wiped out,” Jason flopped back on the bed as soon as we were inside our bedroom. “In case I haven’t said it enough, thank you for finding me.”
“We found ourselves when we found you. It’s a win-win for everyone.” I leaned over and kissed him. “Now, let’s check out that car wash-style shower with three glorious showerheads.”
“Don’t have to tell me twice.” Mister no energy suddenly had a rush of it as he stripped down, threw his clothes in the hamper and headed straight for the shower.
Sikes and I shed our clothes so fast I was pretty sure I heard a couple of rips in the process.
“What took you both so long?”
I smacked his ass and forced a squeak. “Slide over.”
“We need lube in here.” No surprise Jason was the one to point that out.
“Consider it added to the list.” Leave it to Sikes to already have a running list of things he found we’d need.
“These showerheads are amazing.” Like a massage along your neck and shoulders. I was glad we splurged on the bathroom.
“Tomorrow night, we test the tub. I still don’t believe the three of us will fit.” Sikes was relentless on the damn tub. He literally picked the largest one we could fit in this bathroom.
“Here’s an idea, why don’t we save for a jacuzzi?” Jason suggested. “Then we can use it in the winter, too. Would be great to come back from the road and enjoy a long ass soak.”
“I like the way you think,” Sikes snagged the body wash. “This should do the job for now. As much as I’d like to be buried in one of your asses, I’m not sure I have the stamina for more than hand jobs.”
Shit, I was half hard just chasing Jason’s naked ass into the shower. At the mention of hand jobs, my flagpole was proudly flying.
“We’ll have the cleanest dicks around!” Fucking Jason. It was hard to be serious around him. With each passing day I loved him more and more. “This is fucking hot.” Two hands on every dick, I had to agree. This was the first time I played this game, and it was definitely one I’d make sure we repeated.
“Fuck…” Sikes groaned.
Hot shower scene ?
Three-some on the reg ?
How had this become my life?
#Blessed
Whether by Aphrodite herself or another deity, I was a happy man.
“A cock in each hand. This is the shit dreams are made of.” Jason hissed. “Fuck.”
Shivers shot through me, and I had to look away. I’d nearly come just hearing his breathless moans but feeling rather than seeing only intensified it.
“Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!” I chanted as I came, no longer able to hold back. Jason and Sikes must’ve been in the same predicament since they came right after me.
“Come, come, come, swirls down the drain,” Jason sang.
“Jackass,” Sikes grinned and kissed him then me. “But I love you, both of you.”
“Fuck, I love it when the two of you kiss.”
“Oh, we know that,” I teased him and kissed Sikes again, taking my time exploring his mouth to tease Jason.
“And I’m hard again. Now, what am I going to do with this?” He swung his erection around like a sword.
“Your dick, your problem,” Sikes teased and returned to washing himself.
“I’ll suck you off before we crash.” What could I say? I was a sucker for the man. Ha, quite literally it would seem.
“Snipe for the win!” Jason cheered then washed up.
Watching these two gorgeous men beside me in their perfect, naked forms as the suds slid down their bodies had my dick making a valiant effort at a comeback.
Almost…
If I had Jason’s stamina our sex life would be off the charts. Not that it hadn’t elevated a million percent since two became three. But damn, we’d never leave the house if it was.
“Morning, everyone.” Easton’s face appeared onscreen for the pre-tour zoom meeting. As the guys in Embrace logged in, they took over half of it. Marley, Nigel, and Josh were at our place for the call so we shared a square.
“Morning, Easton,” eight voices said at once.
“I’m happy to report that Embrace and Chaotic’s CDs have topped the metal charts. Embrace, you’re teetering on platinum and Chaotic, you’ve crushed gold.” Both bands cheered and whistled. “Yes, we at Masterson are very proud of all of you.”
Jason had been riding high since the release. While he was excited to hit the road, he was hesitant about leaving the family behind, as were we. But this was our jobs and our jobs paid for this wonderful new life and it was time to return to the real world.
“Embrace will meet us here for the tour opener at the Moore Theater in Seattle and I’m excited to report that show has officially sold out!”
More shouts and whistles.
“Honestly,” River’s face appeared beside Easton’s. “Most of the venues are sold out, including The Knitting Factory in Spokane which is show number two!”
The guys were off to a killer start but security wise, shit was about to get crazy.
“Sikes and Snipe, before you hit panic mode, Fizzbo is aware of this and has already assigned two more guards to Embrace and another to Chaotic. I believe he’s scheduled a meeting with all of you?”
Right on cue, in came the text from Fizzbo.
Sikes held up his phone. “I swear, the man knows when his name is spoken.”
Easton smiled. “One of many reasons we’re excited to have him and his team as part of the Masterson family.”
Family. There was that word again. Guess I had paid my dues because the once family-less kid was now a part of many.
Sikes nudged me and whispered, “You okay?”
“Better than okay.” Thankfully we stood behind the couch where the guys were seated so the likelihood of anyone hearing our conversation, or my whimper, for that matter, was slight.
“With the following our bands have built this may be our last smaller venue tour. Next summer Social and Maiden are discussing a four-band summer tour.”
“Wait, four bands?” Jason’s head darted from side to side. “As in we’d be touring with them?”
“You got a problem with that?” Diamond’s growl held no weight, we all knew he was teasing.
“Fuck no, I’m honored, and I’m sure my band brothers are, too. To even be included in such a prestigious lineup.” Jason was living the dream and we couldn’t be happier for him. “Man, I’ve lost my words.”
“You guys paid your dues just as we did. Hell, you’re nearly at our level already.” What Diamond said hit the guys hard and the wide smiles on their faces said as much. “Likely just be the huge, outdoor venues which will suck in Vegas and Phoenix, but we’ll make it work.”
“Vegas! Vegas! Vegas!” the Embrace team cheered.
“I’d suggest holding Arizona and Nevada until last but that cuts it too close to Rocktoberfest, and I want you all well rested and hydrated. The bookings will be one to two a month. Your health and safety are most important, and I will not compromise on that.” If Easton where here, I’d hug him. “With the twins coming we won’t overcommit, either.”
Jeremiah and Seltzer, who I hadn’t realized weren’t already in attendance, popped on. “Hello, everyone.”
“Hey, J, everything okay?” Jason asked him. It was odd he wasn’t here.
“Yes, thanks for asking. We just returned from making sure the buses were ready to roll. Ran a bit late getting through Seattle traffic, but Easton was aware. There are so many buses in our fleet now. For this tour we’ll have eight. When all four bands hit the road summer after next, it will be insane, though Social and Maiden mostly travel by air now, except for this tour Joey and Stoli will be joining us on their bus.” Jeremiah’s words had the wheels in my head spinning. Our partner would someday, likely soon, be one of the heavyweights in the metal world and we’d travel mostly by air as well.
“The buses will pick up the Embrace guys on Tuesday then they’ll be here in time for the first show on Friday,” Jeremiah informed the group. “Looking forward to kicking this off and traveling with both bands.”
The guys were back to cheering. It appeared both bands were excited for this.
“Everything is set up with Ely and Jordan as far as food goes. Mickey will come when Benny and River do and most likely by plane. Diamond will pop in here and there, but I won’t be out with the twins coming. I have the utmost confidence in Jeremiah’s capabilities and know you are in great hands.” Easton never held back and always gave credit where credit was due.
