It only took a moment of negotiation before Sky was on his knees, looking up at Jackson through straw-colored lashes as he got to work sucking Jackson off while Tyler massaged shampoo into Sky’s hair.

He didn’t last long, coming into Sky’s pretty mouth with a guttural moan that Tyler swallowed down with a rough kiss.

Then Jackson helped Tyler hold Sky against the wall as he fucked his front hole, and Jackson washed first Tyler’s hair and then his own.

Sky came with a strangled cry that Jackson knew he’d be hearing on repeat in his head for the rest of the day.

Tyler moaned long and loud, and Jackson had to turn one of the shower heads to cold and stand under it for several minutes to recover.

“God, that was so good,” Sky groaned an hour later as he finished the fourth latte in his flight.

“You’re going to be bouncing out of your seat for the rest of the day,” Tyler said, slowly sipping on his one and only latte.

Jackson popped an antacid and chased it with his fifth espresso sample. “Not to mention peeing every hour.”

“I feel fantastic!” Sky said, reaching for his fifth cup with trembling fingers. When he almost spilled it on Tyler, Jackson took it out of his hand.

“How about you just try the flavor, love, and we can take this one to go.”

Sky pouted and tried to grab Tyler’s latte instead. “Sweetheart—” Tyler said, interrupting himself with a desperate giggle when Sky grabbed his side.

“Alright, I think that’s our cue to head to our next stop," Jackson said, gathering their trays and trash. He speed-walked over to the trash, internally rolling his eyes as he heard more giggles and rustling behind him.

In three years, the heat between those two hadn’t cooled by a single degree. He was glad they had each other, because Jackson found his libido slowing down the older he got. Some nights he enjoyed watching them play and love on each other even more than joining in.

“What if you feed it to me like I’m a baby bird?” he heard Sky say as he returned to the table.

“Did you wake up on the horny side of the bed?” Tyler asked, wrapping a strong arm around Sky’s middle.

“I just…” Sky gazed up at Tyler, their eyes meeting for a beat before Sky pressed his forehead against Tyler’s pec. “I really love you.”

Tyler’s face softened, his smirk rounding into a sweet grin as he stared down at Sky. In all the years Jackson had known Tyler, that particular grin hadn’t appeared until several months into their relationship and was reserved exclusively for Sky. “I love you, too, sweetheart.”

Jackson stepped up behind Sky and placed a steady hand on his back. Without even needing to think about it, he found the tender spot under his right shoulder blade and pressed on it with his thumb. Sky hummed in pleasure and gripped a fistful of Tyler’s shirt.

A new smile pulled the left side of Tyler’s mouth up higher than the right. He gazed over Sky’s head at Jackson and winked. “Love you too, babe.”

Jackson was a goner for that smile. He lowered his hand to where Tyler was cupping Sky’s lower back and threaded their fingers together.

“And I love you. Both of you,” Jackson said. He dragged their knuckles up and down Sky’s spine until Sky’s grip loosened on Tyler’s shirt.

“Alright, you’ve thoroughly distracted me,” Sky sighed, turning around so he was leaning into their linked arms. “I don’t need any more coffee. What’s next on the agenda?”

“The world’s largest ball of yarn?” Jackson asked, just so he could watch the way Tyler’s face scrunched up.

“Oooh, what about the world's smallest ball of yarn?” Sky asked, and Tyler released Jackson’s hand so he could throw an arm roughly around Sky’s shoulders.

“I asked both of you multiple times if you wanted to see the yarn–” Tyler said, but Jackson grabbed him gently around the back of the neck and pulled him into a kiss.

“Whatever we do today will be perfect,” Jackson murmured, and Tyler huffed before nodding and leading them both out of the roastery.

SKY

Sky wasn’t sure if he should be concerned or not over how truly oblivious his partners were.

For the moment, it played in his favor. He’d come close to spilling his secret surprise multiple times throughout the trip, and yet neither Jackson nor Tyler had caught on.

It felt like it was only a matter of time now, though.

It was the final night of their trip. They just finished a drive-in movie at an abandoned amusement park and were heading to a fancy-pants restaurant Jackson booked for them.

Sky had never felt so pampered before. In their day-to-day lives, they indulged in a few luxuries, like multiple streaming services, a spacious home, and pricey takeout on occasion, but four- and five-star accommodations and Michelin-starred restaurants were well outside the norm.

For the hundredth time, Sky wondered if somehow Jackson and Tyler knew that Sky was planning to reveal a surprise, and they were trying to set the mood.

That was ridiculous, though. It was probably just the nerves talking.

Sky felt like he was vibrating as they took the elevator up to the fortieth floor of a skyscraper in the final city they’d be visiting.

Jackson and Tyler also looked a bit keyed up, but Sky figured it was just that vacation looked good on them, and Sky wasn’t used to seeing them look so relaxed.

Their jobs had become increasingly important over the past few years, and while they’d been diligent about maintaining work-life balance, it was still exhausting after so many months without a break.

Sky was committed to rectifying that, though, hence his surprise.

As they were led to their table, Jackson kept glancing between them, his hand straying to his pocket and then away so many times, that Sky grew suspicious. Was he not the only one hiding something?

Before the host could even finish wishing them a good meal when they took their seats, Tyler pulled his phone out and frantically typed something before pocketing it again.

He’d done that multiple times over their trip, and Sky figured it was nerves about being away from work, or maybe Layla, for so long.

Unless Sky was just as oblivious as his partners.

They were all abnormally quiet as they first looked at the wine menu, with Sky and Tyler deferring to Jackson to pick out something, then scanned the appetizers, this time allowing Tyler to pick a few things out.

Sky made it until the server turned her back on them before bursting.

“So, I have a surprise for you both.”

Jackson’s smile was bewildered, and Tyler looked a little overwhelmed.

“Uhm… I also have a surprise for you both,” he said, his hand fidgeting with the chipped corner of his phone case. Sky had offered numerous times to get him a new one, but Tyler liked to use his things until they broke.

“I have a surprise as well,” Jackson said, pulling a decently sized box out of his pants pocket.

Not to be out done, Sky pulled an envelope out of his pocket and placed it next to his salad fork. Tyler paled and gripped the edge of the table. “Uh, mine isn’t… a physical thing?” Tyler said, glancing anxiously between them.

“Mine isn’t exactly a physical thing either. This sort of represents the surprise,” Sky said, tapping the envelope with two fingers.

Tyler nodded slowly. “Mine is… more like a proposal—not that kind of proposal! Then I would have a physical item, or two, obviously. It’s like … an idea?”

Part of Sky loved seeing Tyler all flustered and adorable. His cheeks were an endearing pink, and if he kept biting his lip, it would get all plump and tempting. Sky didn’t like the divot of stress between his eyebrows, though. He shouldn’t be stressed on vacation.

Sky reached for one of Tyler’s hands at the same time Jackson reached for the other, until they were holding hands around the table like they were about to start a seance or something.

“Well,” Jackson said slowly, his eyes drifting from his box, to Sky’s envelope, to Tyler’s face. “Since you seem a little worked up about your idea, why don’t you go first?”

Tyler quickly shook his head. “Sky, you spoke first, so I think you should start.”

Sky had absolutely no problem with that. He opened the envelope with a flourish and pulled out three fake plane tickets he’d printed using their office’s sophisticated printer. “I’m taking us all to Europe in two months!”

The table rattled ominously as both Tyler and Jackson tried to reach for Sky, all while they were still holding hands.

“You didn’t have to do that!” Tyler said, lifting their still joined hands to tip Sky’s face up for a kiss. Sky turned his head expectantly, and Jackson gave him an indulgent grin before kissing him as well.

“Does this mean you’re planning the whole trip as well?”

“Oh, absolutely fucking not,” Sky said, reaching back into the envelope with his free hand to pull out a pamphlet. “I hired a trip planner, because I think after watching Tyler spend three months planning this, he deserves a vacation where his only job is to enjoy.”

Tyler’s eyes rounded, and he leaned back in, pressing his forehead against the side of Sky’s head. “Thank you, sweetheart.”

“Of course,” Sky said, smiling knowingly at Jackson.

They both loved to spoil Tyler, since none of his exes had done a great job of it.

Furthering that thought, Jackson held up his gift box. “I’ll go next, because mine is relatively simple.”

He opened the box, revealing three identical necklaces made of chorded leather with intricately designed gray pendants.

“So the sixth wedding anniversary present is iron,” Jackson said, holding the box out to Sky first. When Sky took a necklace out, Jackson held the box out to Tyler.

“And the third anniversary is leather. I know you’re not married to us, and our actual anniversary with you isn’t for several months, but I wanted a way to commemorate this trip, and both of you, together. ”

Sky’s sinuses burned, and he heard Tyler sniffle as they exchanged another round of kisses, this time with Jackson as the focal point. The waiter brought their wine as they all hung the necklaces around their necks.

Finally, with wine glasses in hand, it was Tyler’s turn, and the atmosphere around the table shifted.

He swallowed loudly, before taking a deep breath, letting it out with a soft huff.

“So, Clara and I have been talking a lot about Layla and families and kids and… they think they want to try for another baby.”

Sky’s eyebrows shot up. “That’s amazing!”

“How exciting,” Jackson said, his expression a little more neutral as he stared intently at Tyler. “Are you planning on donating sperm again?”

Tyler nodded. “As long as that’s okay with both of you, that’s what Clara and Stephanie would prefer.”

Sky couldn’t stop the wide grin that split across his face. He glanced quickly at Jackson who nodded once. “Of course that’s okay with us,” Sky said, squeezing Tyler’s hand.

He would have expected Tyler’s anxiety to lessen, but he began jiggling his foot, shaking Sky’s hand where it was resting on Tyler’s thigh. “So… while we were discussing this, Clara surprised both me and Stephanie by admitting she wouldn’t mind carrying a child as well.”

Jackson made a soft noise in the back of his throat. “So they're going to look for a different donor?”

Tyler’s leg bounced uncontrollably, until suddenly, it stopped.

“Clara offered to be our surrogate. If that’s something we want–now, or in the next year or two.

Stephanie is hoping to begin trying in the next six months, and they thought being pregnant at the same time would be fun–god knows why, honestly–but there’s no pressure if we’re not ready yet. ”

Sky would have fallen out of his chair if Jackson hadn’t grabbed his other hand.

They’d begun talking about kids around a year before, but they hadn’t gotten very far with logistics.

Sky had chosen not to freeze his eggs, so he wasn’t going to contribute genetically, and they hadn’t really decided whether Tyler or Jackson or both or neither would contribute their sperm.

They’d also spoken about adoption but again, nothing concrete.

“We don’t have to decide today, obviously, and it won’t interfere with our trip to Europe,” Tyler said, grinning widely at Sky now that his news was finally out in the open.

“But I just wanted to broach the topic now, so we can discuss it further when we get home and can meet with Clara and Stephanie.”

Sky squeezed both of his partners’ hands before freeing them so they could all pick up their wine glasses.

“Here’s to us, to our future, our family, and our amazing road trip,” Sky said, clinking glasses with the two most important people in his world, relishing in the fact that one day, maybe sooner than he ever would have thought, there may be more than just the three of them.
