“She will be loved because she’s perfect.
I respect whatever you decide to do, but my two cents are that you were created for the camera.
You’re a fucking natural, baby. It’ll be difficult not to love you.
If you built an empire on a fake persona, imagine what the most authentic version of you could do. ”
I nodded, allowing him to lower my head and place a kiss in the center of my forehead.
That warmth was downloaded into my mind for me to play back later.
No one made me feel the way Kinga did. He was in tune with my needs in a supernatural way.
Words couldn’t describe it because it was truly something to be felt.
“Well, since we are talking about dreams, what’s up with yours? Are you done with basketball?”
I watched his demeanor shift but not in a bad way. This was obviously a sensitive topic for him. I reached for his hand as a form of support. I wanted him to know he could trust me. I thought he wasn’t going to respond and wasn’t planning on pressuring him to do so when he finally answered.
“I considered it, but honestly, I don’t want to be.
For a long time, I thought I was playing for my father’s approval when I have a real love for the game.
Since I was a young boy, I wanted to master it.
I loved growing and learning how to be better.
I didn’t want to be good at basketball, but I wanted to dominate it.
” He stared deeply into my eyes, sending a chill down my spine.
“I don’t feel like I’ve done that yet, and now, it’s the only thing I want other than to do life with you and our son. ”
I palmed his cheek and felt a burst of his love shoot through me.
“You’re going to come back better than ever before.
If you were king of the court before, you’ll be god of it now.
I’ve seen how hard you’ve been pushing yourself during your workouts.
So, I can only imagine what your private practices have been like.
I know everyone has their opinion about your suspension, but to me, it seems like a reset…
a reset to get back in alignment with your first love. ”
He smiled shyly. “You get me, Charm. That’s why I love you.”
I couldn’t help but return his smile. The sun sank deeper and so did the hues of orange, purple, and pinks, painting the sky.
“You get me, too. That’s why we’re a perfect fit.”
He shook his head. “I still can’t believe you had my baby.”
“It was the greatest honor, and I’d do it again.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“Damn, right. I got the best baby daddy in the history of baby daddies.”
We were inching closer with every retort, but his smirk was now a frown.
“I’m your husband. Put some respect on my position in your life.”
I grinned, loving to tease him. “You’re so right. I love being married to you.”
“I love being married to you, too, but I still want you to have your dream wedding.”
“ Our … It’ll be our dream wedding.”
He shook his head. “Nah, I spoke correctly. My heart is in it, and that’s all I’ve truly wanted for myself. My dream will be fulfilled when you’re standing in front of me saying the words I do for everyone to see. You can have whatever wedding you want on me.”
His declaration made me misty-eyed. I sniffled, glancing at the last rays of the sun peeking over the horizon and felt complete.
“So, if I wanted flamingos, you’d foot that bill?”
“Without batting an eye, I’d pay for you to ride down the aisle on a fucking elephant. I don’t care what it is. If you want it, it’s yours.”
I attacked him by wrapping my arms around his neck. He laughed while hugging me back.
“I guess I will pick my camera back up. I have to vlog this.”
He tapped my nose after releasing me. “Atta girl. Besides, I want the world to see me loving you the way you deserve to be loved. I’ve been hidden long enough.”
Agreeing with everything he said, I pulled out my phone and went straight into Instagram. I recorded a video of us in selfie mode nearly melting when he kissed me on the neck. I didn’t even watch the replay. I just placed a heart emoji on the screen then posted it.
“Now the world knows that’s my dick.”
He nodded proudly. “Damn right, bae. This your everything. For life.”
I kissed away whatever he wanted to say next. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I didn’t need any convincing. This was God’s plan for me, and it was more than enough. Kinga pulled out his phone, deciding to record a video of his own.
“I got posted! It’s over for you niggas for real now. Stay out my girl inbox.”
I looked lovingly at him even after he placed the camera on me.
“It’s been over for them niggas,” I finally said.
He completely forgot about his phone as he attacked me. I couldn’t stop giggling while he rained kisses all over my cheeks. Finally, he lifted up on his forearm to hover above me.
“I’ll never stop loving you.”
His handsome face with the darkening sky above stole my breath.
“I’ll never stop loving you,” I replied with ease.
I moaned when he swiped a finger over my nipple. I was addicted to his hands on my body like it was crack.
“I can’t wait to get you back to the suite. I’m going to try not to give you another baby.”
I grinned. “I’m going to try not to give you another baby.”
He shook his head with a dazed expression. Slowly, he inched forward until he planted a sweet kiss on my lips. A wave of euphoria washed through me when he placed another. The way I could feel his love through his affection was spiritual. I knew my soul was complete.
“I’m so blessed to be able to do forever with you.”
I nodded. “Yeah, you are, so you better not forget it.”
He scoffed. “I’d rather lose a limb than to lose you.”
I knew it was true, and when he kissed me again, all doubt fled from my being.
“Losing you is never an option. I went for three and I got it.” He winked with a smirk.
His affirmation placed me on autopilot where I didn’t have to worry or even think. I could just be. That sense of ease was a feeling I wish everyone could experience in life because it was addicting.
