“Boom, I have a flight to catch so you have to make this quick.” She told him getting ready to board.

She rolled her eyes and tried to ignore her feelings as usual. “It’s nothing left for me to do here, everybody has somebody they love and are with or even working on it. I just need a fresh new start.”

“What the fuck did you want me to do Boom! Sit around and be hurt waiting on you? I did everything you needed from me when we were together, what did I do besides what I always did…hustle?”

“You forgot to fuckin’ be there! Fuck all the other dumb shit, when a nigga needed you to be there you forgot!

You was so worried about yo fuckin’ hunger for the dollar, you forgot to keep an eye on what the fuck I was building for us.

A niggas was down thinkin’ we was runnin’ from the law and shit but you was suppose to conduct yo’ self accordingly and hold that shit down till a nigga got back.

” He told her with built up frustration.

“And I understand that nigga! Have you been hearing me?” She asked on the brink of tears. “Only thing I did was rob some niggas. I didn’t betray you, I didn’t fuck another nigga, and I didn’t stab you in the back. I made a fucking mistake.”

“And still making more.” He replied.

With an eyebrow raised, she asked. “What the fuck does that mean?”

“Who is Snake?” He asked.

Here we go again , she thought. “A friend.”

“Or a money source?” He caught her off guard, “and the fucked up part is you don’t even need the money, this shit is a pattern.

When I left, you was hurt, so you did dumb shit acting out making you feel like more money would change the pain instead of expressing how hurt you really were.

Now, you’re hurt again and doing the same dumb shit, you think that money will replace yo happiness, but money can’t buy happiness baby girl.

” He read her ass to the moon and back hitting everything on top of the head.

“You ain’t always gotta be so tough Ya…it’s okay to express your feelings and deal with some shit that really is affecting you. ”

Yaya felt naked, like she was exposed because he was right, she’d always been that way.

Coming up as a little girl, she had both of her parents, but she had partying parents, so they didn’t have time for her.

Everything she did, she did it on her own and the only thing they ever did was supply her money to keep her happy and distracted from the fact that they weren’t there like they should’ve been.

She learned at a young age to hide her depression with money.

“You there?” He asked hearing her sniffles in the background.

“I’m here.” She acknowledged him.

“Truth hurt, don’t it?”

“Whatever.” She mumbled.

“At the end of the day, I’m still yo friend a nigga ain’t got no malice for you in his heart, but the company you keeping…

you need to get rid of, that nigga Snake is a fuckin’ monster and ain’t go no respect for women period.

I used to hug the block with the nigga a few years back whenever I would go set up shop out there and I watched the nigga damn there beat a bitch brains out cause she came and confronted him about some abortion money…

a lil red bitch, bout 3 years ago. I heard he made her have that baby, but still, don’t let that sweet shit fool you. ”

Yaya’s heart dropped, the fuck was Boom talking about? She had just signed for a brand-new apartment and planned on starting over. “Thanks for the heads up.” She replied.

“You gonna do what you want but I’m serious.”

“I hear you Boom, and trust me, I’m gonna take your word for it. I just plan on doing me and getting my shit together, fuck these niggas.”

“You should try to get some help if you need it Yaya, just cause you go talk to somebody about a issue or some shit you battling with don’t mean you crazy.”

“How about I have a long talk with you? Can we make a deal on that? The next time I come back, I want to start fresh and tell you everything about me. I want to help you to understand me and know I’m really not a bad person.”

“That’s a deal, but maybe you should just come back period instead of running away being out thee with nobody at all, at least you got people here that love you and care about yo ass.”

“I’ll think about that Boom.”

“Do that.” He told her.

She got ready to walk on and took a chance when she said. “I love you.”

She took a deep breath waiting for him to reply, “I love you too.” He told her, if you loved somebody it wasn’t shit wrong with tellin’ them.

“Is it okay for me to send you a text letting you know when I land?” she asked.

“Yeah, that’s cool, but stay way from that nigga.” He warned her again.

Yaya thought about everything that Boom had said to her forcing her to dig into her inner issues, which was something she never really wanted to do or acknowledge, she hated that he had to go there because she had been doing just fine.

Yaya knew that Snake was expecting to see her since he called her everyday all day since she’d been gone, but she wasn’t in the mood to be bothered with him.

She didn’t even want that apartment anymore, instead she was gonna use her own money to get another one and give him his money back, which is what she was doing.

She gathered the money that she managed to save from him and placed it in a small bag.

When she knew for sure he wouldn’t be home, she drove to his house and sat it in the corner beside his huge silk tree plant and left a note inside of it.

That was it, she was going to just focus on her.

She then went and checked out of her hotel and checked into another one and asked the front desk not to list her real name, until she was able to search for another place.

She knew she shouldn’t have led Snake on, but it was better now than never to go ahead and get him out of her life.

She wasn’t surprised when he started blowing up her phone, but what did shock her, was the threats.

“Bitch, you got me fucked up if you think you gon’ come in my life and play with me, especially when all I did was treat yo ho ass like a queen,” He snapped.

Yaya sat on the bed in her room and lotion up. “Snake, ain’t no need to call me with all that, I didn’t use you at all. Matter fact, I just need to focus on me, that’s what this is all about. I left you instead of leading you on.

“None of you bitches ain’t shit.” He chuckled. “You must don’t know what I’d do to you; you the only bitch bold enough to try me like this.”

Yaya sucked her teeth; it was funny how he went from sweet to sour and now she was fifty million bitches. “You don’t have another time to keep calling me a bitch. I understand that hurt dogs hollered but it ain’t even that serious,” she told him.

“You know what bitch, when I find you, I’mma fuck you up. I promise you about to get’cha issue.”

Yaya hung up, she didn’t have time to argue with no nigga; especially one she didn’t love but she also didn’t want to disregard his threats.

She walked over to her bag and made sure she had a gun tucked away so she wouldn’t get caught slipping.

After she was dressed in her night clothes, she called Reema and asked her to come over to her room so she could chop it up with her and have a drink.

“I’m on my way.” Reema told her.

She showed up thirty minutes later with a smile and a bottle, “Room service.” She joked walking in dressed in chill mode with a simple pair of tights, a tank, and some Gucci slides.

She was glowing as usual. She walked in and sat everything down and then removed her little .

22 and sat it on the table. She slid her shoes off and made herself comfortable.

“So, what’s up chick? You been on the go huh? ”

Yaya poured each of them a cup and sat down, “Shit, if you only knew how crazy shit been, you probably wouldn’t even believe me if I told you.

” She shook her head and then moved to the next subject cause all though her and Reema were cool, Brook’Lynn was her bitch, and she wasn’t about to tell her girl’s business.

“So, what I really wanna know is, what’s up with that nigga Snake? ”

“What you mean?” Reema asked confused. “I heard some real foul shit about that nigga and when I tried to cut him off, he started sending me all kind of threats, I even gave that nigga most of his money back. Shit, it ain’t worth it bitch I’ll get my own apartment.”

Reema didn’t know what the fuck she was talking about, she hadn’t heard anything foul about him, then again, she didn’t know much anyway besides the nigga was a pay master.

“What you mean threatening you?” she asked.

“That nigga probably just talking but just in case he ain’t just stay away from his ass, you tripped giving him his money for that apartment back.

You gave him some pussy right? That shit ain’t free. ”

Yaya looked at Reema and saw so much of herself in her and listening to her talk she was embarrassed at how she must sound her damn self when she was talking like that…like a real bird. “I’m not thinking about that money, fuck it.”

“Damn, what changed?” Reema asked, “Had I known you was gonna pass him up, I should’ve went on and hopped on that dick my damn self.”

“Girl, you can have him if you want his ass, I wont lie though that nigga do got some good dick and them pussy eating skills…babyyyy.” Yaya reminisced. “That nigga had me getting’ high while he gave me some head and trust me when I tell you…”

“It was that good?” Reema asked.

Yaya nod her head, “Please believe me.”

Reema chuckled, “Yeah it sound good but I’m just talkin’ shit bitch…I don’t fuck behind none of my bitches. Now a bitch I don’t like? I’ll fuck her nigga, and I got a friend for all her home girl’s niggas.” She chuckled.

Yaya shook her head and laughed, “Damn that’s cold.”

“That’s real.” Reema shrugged. “So, what’s your plans?”
