She cracked a small smile, finally showing those pretty whites. “I’m about four months now,” she told him. “If my calculations are right… I got pregnant the same night that you left.”

Perfect truly felt like shit, wishing that he’d been more careful.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want her to bear a child, but because he had to leave, he would’ve been much more careful that night.

He never had it in his plans for her to go through something like that alone and by herself.

Of course, she had her friends and shit, but they weren’t him.

“I can’t apologize enough,” he said, feeling bad.

“Don’t do that Perfect, you didn’t know.”

“Did you think about aborting it because I wasn’t here and you didn’t know when I’d be back?” he asked her.

Without a blink of an eye, she answered him. “No, not at all. I was mad at you because I felt as though you neglected me, but I would never do that. I’d rather had a piece of you, then none of you at all.”

Perfect nodded his head, respecting her for that. She could’ve said fuck him and killed the baby, but instead, she was willing to do that shit alone if she had to.

“You ain’t gotta do this shit by yourself, I promise you that baby.” He kissed her lips.

“Good, cause I don’t want to,” she replied.

He took a deep breath and swiped his hand across his waves.

“Look, I don’t know what I’ma do about this other situation, but all this shit makes a lot of sense now.

I don’t know how, but some kind of way, we gotta get these niggas together in the same room.

I wanna know where the fuck my mama is at…

I need answers. I’ma let God deal with the rest, unless they want this shit to go another way,” he said, clearly bothered again.

“Look baby, I’m happy, I promise you I am, but with all this other shit going on…

I just need a minute.” He seriously did need to get away and clear his mind for a little bit. All this shit was a lot to take in.

“I understand, but before you leave, do you mind running me up the street to Fingalickin’? I’m craving some fried turkey wings and mac and cheese,” she said, hoping he said yes. She could’ve driven herself, but she just missed him, she wasn’t ready to not be in his presence again.

He wanted to decline but he didn’t and agreed to take her. “What about Wise?” he asked.

“Knowing him, he’s already gone thinking that we were probably about to break the bed down with some makeup sex.”

As soon as she mentioned makeup sex, he thought about Bugg sucking his dick and wondered if he should’ve told her the truth. “Come on,” he told her, walking outside to his car to open the door for her. “Be careful.”

“I’m pregnant, not handicap and please don’t drive me crazy treating me as such.” She giggled a little.

They’d made it down the street when she asked him. “Who told you? How did you find out about Shaw and Love?” she asked, hating that she had to bring it back up.

“It doesn’t even matter,” he told her. He thought about how everything played out.

He couldn’t stand Bugg with not one bone in his body; the bitch didn’t even tell him that his girl was pregnant cause she was too busy trying to steal her nigga.

Had Bugg even mentioned it, he would’ve been come back to at least check on her.

He had a lot on his mind. His daddy lying to get them out of town, Brook’Lynn and her shit, along with everything else.

When they arrived, Perfect got out of the car and left it running, so he could run in for Brook’Lynn. Never did he imagine to run into Bugg’s ass. He shook his head and mumbled, “Lord… I don’t know what I did so bad, but please just let me make it, and if I hurt this girl, please forgive me.”

She placed her order and eyeballed him. “Hold on Yaya. I just ran into Perfect, I’ll call you back,” she said, hanging up the phone. “You still mad?” she asked. “I did everything I did to help ya’ll out… can we just start over? I’m not even mad about anything anymore.”

Perfect curved her ass and went to the counter while stepping over her like a dead roach, hurting her ego even more in front of all those people. Feeling hurt, she fixed her lips to say something else. He already knew what she was thinking.

“What? You gon’ tell Brook’Lynn what happened?

” he asked, shocking her. “I’m my own man…

she wouldn’t believe yo thot ass anyway.

Fuck outta my presence with the dumb shit.

.. alot of people could’ve died or been hurt behind yo sneaky ass…

you wasn’t even woman enough to admit you had some parts in the shit too and for your information, niggas don’t respect a rat.

You ain’t tell trying to help us; you told cause you was trying to get some brownie points and make me leave my girl, so you can ease ya way in…

you should’ve kept it cool and played ya role.

Maybe you would’ve got some action,” he told her and paid for the food.

Realizing that her plan had failed and she probably caused a big ass mess, on top of being beyond embarrassed…

she stormed away with tears in her eyes, when she saw Brook’Lynn sitting outside in Perfect’s car, which pissed her off even more.

Brook’Lynn was going to speak, but when she saw how bothered the girl looked, she decided to leave her the fuck alone.

The fuck is her problem? she thought to herself.

Bugg hid it very well, but she had serious mental issues and had suffered from a bipolar disorder all her life.

When she got stressed out, she didn’t handle it well, and right now was one of those times.

She suffered drastically, jumping from home to home, dealing with sexual abuse, and not having her mother or father around like they should’ve been.

She felt unwanted all her life, so to now be rejected yet from someone else, she was on the brink of exploding.

Just as she was about to keep walking, she turned back around and knocked on the passenger window.

Brook’Lynn didn’t hesitate to roll down the window; why wouldn’t she? The warm breeze felt good on her face as the air seeped in. “You okay girl?” she asked Bugg.

There was a shift in her eyes all of a sudden and she looked like a total different person to Brook’Lynn, and before she knew it, Bugg’s fist was connecting with her face and she was being pulled out the car by her hair, causing them both to fall on the hard concrete together.

“You stupid ass bitch!” Bugg growled with a good grip on Brook’Lynn’s long hair.

Brook’Lynn regrouped quickly. “Let me go bitch! The fuck is your problem!” She took her fist, connecting blows to Bugg’s face and the top of her head.

“Bitch, you think you have it all, don’t you! Your man don’t even want you, bitch! If he did, his dick wouldn’t have been down my throat hoe!” Bugg yelled in rage.

Hearing that shit caused Brook’Lynn to go stiff for a half second.

“What the fuck did you just say to me?!” she yelled before punching the shit out of her again.

“Bitch, what the fuck did you just say?!” Brook’Lynn forgot about everything and went crazy for half a second, giving her the strength she needed to flip Bugg’s ass and fuck her up properly.

If it weren’t for Perfect pulling her off and another guy grabbing Bugg, they would’ve kept going at it.

“Get that bitch out of here!” Perfect told the guy. “Take her stupid ass on somewhere!”

“Let me go Perfect! Let me go!” Brook’Lynn wiggled from his grip and sat back in the car huffing, trying to catch her breath. She was beyond pissed that her lip was bust. She grabbed a napkin and dabbed the blood on her swelling lips.

Bugg was carried away somewhere and Brook’Lynn was ready to go.

“You fucking pregnant! Come on Brook’Lynn, damn. You can’t be wilidin’ like that!” Perfect fussed, sitting in the driver’s seat.

“She came for me, Perfect! And don’t you dare tell me no shit about how I can’t be wildin’, when you been around here letting bitches slob on your fucking knob!”

He took a deep breath, feeling a headache coming and went back inside to grab the food. When he came back, he didn’t even want to talk, but he had to make sure she was straight. “I need to take you to get checked out to make sure the baby is okay,” he said calmly.

“Nah, I’m fine. Take me home,” she ordered with an attitude.

“What I say? I’m taking you.”

“Did she suck your dick or not?” she asked.

“Brook’Lynn, that bitch is crazy man. I’ll explain to you later… this shit is too much man,” he said without looking at her.

Her lips trembled as she placed her hand over her mouth. “Oh, my God, she did, didn’t she?” she asked, knowing the look in his eyes when he didn’t want to answer a question.

He refused to answer her right now, he was more concerned about whether her and the baby were okay. She folded her arms across her chest and tried hard not to swing on him, but to say she felt betrayed was an understatement, but the nerve of Bugg to attack her was some bullshit.

Her ringing phone got her attention, and she picked up for Kema. “Yeah?”

“Bitch, what the fuck happened? ‘Fat Ma’ who works up there at Fingalickin’ said that you and Bugg was in the parking lot getting it poppin; tell me that’s a lie.”

“Fuck Bugg, that bitch attacked me, fuck that hoe. I’ll call you back,” she said, hanging up on Kema. She was pissed because her days off were over and she was supposed to work tomorrow, but how was she going to do that with a fucked-up lip. She knew for sure it’d be huge by the morning.

She was so hurt and upset with Perfect that she didn’t even know what else to say; it was always the hoes right up under you who you had to watch. She would’ve never guessed that Perfect and Bugg even knew each other.
