Hitting the town with his teammates is routine, but when he spots a certain, familiar redhead being bothered by a man at the bar, Carter feels the need to help her out.

When things get out of control, Carter finds himself with busted knuckles, being taken away in handcuffs. Arden is whisked away by her friends, unable to see the aftermath of the fight that she was in the center of, petrified that a man just ruined his life defending her.

Carter may have finally thrown one punch too many. His reputation and his job are on the line. He needs a saving grace. He needs a life vest.
