“Finn,” I breathe against his lips.
He groans in response, his hand sliding down from my hip until it reaches the slit of my dress. With deft fingers, he slides inside and cups me through my underwear. The cool metal of his Piguet watch against the heat of my inner thigh sends shivers down my spine.
My hips buck involuntarily against his touch.
“Yes!” I gasp.
His fingers move with purpose now, rubbing circles over my clit through the thin fabric. The pleasure is immediate and intense, building rapidly as he continues his ministrations. My hands grip his shoulders for support as I ride the waves of sensation.
The lust in his eyes is just as sexy as his panty-dropping smile. I’m going to combust. He increases the pressure enough to push me over the edge.
The orgasm crashes over me and my pussy weeps as it clenches, aching to be filled. I cry out his name as pleasure floods every nerve ending in my body.
“Yes! Finn!”
My eyes snap open as the words tear from my throat. My breath is coming in quick gasps as my orgasm falters and evaporates too soon. Reality crashes back around me. I’m locked in an empty room—no, not a room—a dimly lit cell.
And he’s there by the door.
Finn Quinn is watching me with an expression that’s equal parts amusement and something else. Something dark and dangerous.
I blink, fighting to clear the haze from my mind. “What are you looking at?”
His grin is just as devastating in real life as it was in my dream. “I’m watching ye get yerself off and call my name.”
The realization of what he just saw hits me like a punch to the gut. I pull my hand out from between my legs as heat floods my cheeks. “What did you drug me with, some kind of aphrodisiac?”
He holds up his hands, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “It was a basic sedative. Whatever yer little dream sextacy was about, it had nothin’ to do with me. Och, well, apart from the part I might’ve been playing in makin’ ye come.”
I narrow my eyes at him. “You’re going to let me out of here. Right now.”
He doesn’t move from his spot by the door. Instead, he crosses his arms over his chest and leans against the frame nonchalantly. “Sorry, luv. That’s not how this is going to play out. We need to talk.”
“I have nothing to say to you.”
“That’s unfortunate, because I’ve got questions that need answers.” His tone is serious now, all traces of earlier amusement gone.
I sit up slowly and take in the cushy foam mattress I’m on. Is this how Gio felt when he woke up in Gravely’s cell?Dios mio, Gravely. He’s going to be looking for me.
“You have to let me go. Finn, please! I have to get out of here.”
He frowns. “Why? What’s Gravely holdin’ over yer head?”
I roll to get off the mattress, but it’s low and I’m not steady yet. To avoid assplanting, I stay on my knees and breathe through the dizziness that hit me just now. “What I do and why is none of your business. I told you, I’ve got nothing to say to you.”
Finn looks me over and shrugs. “Suit yerself. I’m going to get changed and call it a night. Yer bathroom is through that door and there’s a tray of food on the little table. Our housekeeper, Cora, is an incredible cook, so this will be the best prison food ye’ve ever tasted.”
I scoff. “Like I’ll eat anything you leave for me.”
He chuckles. “Luv, I drugged ye to bring you here. I don’t need to drug yewhileyer here. Eat up, and we’ll talk again in the morning.”
“The morning? No. I’ve got to get out of here.”
Finn stops in the doorway as he turns to leave. “Night, Nyx. Dream dirty dreams about me, babe.”
The door locks behind him and my heart sinks. I need to get out of here. If Gravely thinks I’ve gone AWOL, he’ll have no reason to keep Gio alive.
Finn doesn’t know it, but he’s signed my brother’s death certificate.
