“Aw,” Sam grumbled from the other end of the couch.
“You have a voyeuristic streak in you, Sam?” I asked, my mouth still pressed against Kevin’s. My tongue darted out, and I dragged it across the split of Kevin’s lips. Kevin’s face flushed and he looked down.
“I didn’t think so,” Sam said, his voice light and playful as always. “But maybe I do.”
“I don’t share well,” Rich said, his voice a contrasting low rumble.
“Looking isn’t sharing,” Sam countered.
“Isn’t it?” Rich arched a brow.
“It’s art,” I said with a casual shrug. “The things we do, don’t you think?”
“Art?”
I tipped my chin in Sam’s direction. “Isn’t he? When you take him apart?”
Rich made a thoughtful noise, his stare drifting toward Sam, whose cheeks turned a violent looking shade of red under Rich’s attention.
“I suppose,” he agreed, dragging his tongue across his lower lip.
The air in the living room shifted, growing thick with unspoken wants and promises. It was utterly sinful.
Sam glanced at Rich over his shoulder, offering a long, slow blink that had his lashes fanning out against those crimson cheeks of his. The way Sam looked at Rich, becauseof Rich, there was no question…it was art.
Very lewd and private art.
“So, why the pit stop?” I asked, clearing my throat and flicking my hand toward my wine glass on the table. Kevin reached for it without thought and handed it to me.
Sometimes his obedience amused me because, when we’d set out in our relationship a year before, a life of service hadn’t been what he was after. Back then, I don’t think Kevin knew he was a submissive; he thought he was a masochist and nothing else, but he’d seen the light. I hadn’t set out to manipulate him into submission. In fact, quite the opposite. We’d long ago agreed that we didn’t have time for a 24/7 thing, but we’d fallen into it without noticing.
I couldn’t say it bothered me or that I minded it.
I took a drink and adjusted Kevin on the couch so I could see past him to Rich and Sam.
“It’s just been awhile,” Rich answered, and Sam’s face flashed with an unreadable emotion. “I thought it would be good to spend time with friends. With like-minded people.”
“You should come,” Sam said quickly.
“Where?”
“Tonight.”
“To Rapture?” I asked.
“Yeah,” Sam answered, a hopeful smile on his face.
I looked at Kevin. “What do you think?”
“If you want to.”
“That’s not what I asked.” I tapped the underside of his chin with the side of my forefinger so I could see his face.
“Yes,” he answered quietly.
“There will be rules,” I said.
He nodded. “I know.”
