NOTE: that some of these things even my computer program didn’t recognize!
But back to my chapter on ingredient reading from the first book, if you, your mama, and your computer don’t know what it is, don’t put it in your body! Be informed and try to avoid these foods as much as possible, unless you know they are non-GMO as shown by the butterfly label:www.nongmoproject.org
You can even download the non-GMO shopping guide app to scan products for content information. Also, The Food Babe, Vani Hari, consistently updates lists of these ingredients. And remember to check your meats. Animals are often fed GMO grains, which then enter us from the meats and dairy we eat.
If you can’t eat only non-GMO and organic, just try and do the best you can. I believe all reduction in exposure to these chemicals will help us. Please also keep an eye on all the oils added to things, especially at your favorite restaurants! Our family tries to stick to the three safest oils: coconut, olive, and avocado.
